Check Out These Family Reunion Recipes

February 5, 2016

Bringing the whole family for dinner can be one of the highlights of a reunion. Gathering generations to meet, eat and tell stories is how memories are made. Planning, delegation and teamwork are the key elements that make this kind of meal happen, and below are several ideas and checklists to help make it delicious, and deliciously organized.

•    Beverages: BYOB or fill coolers with ice, juice, soda pop and beer. A coffee urn also comes in handy (don’t forget cream & sugar!)
•    Have each family bring their own place settings, or pool resources and get quantities of paper plates, napkins, cups and plastic silverware.
•    Divide the all the items on the checklists below between families and have each bring a part of these crowd-pleasing meals.

Here are a few meal ideas that are great for large parties and their corresponding ingredient checklists so you don’t get stuck rounding up all the bits and pieces:

Taco Bar
BBQ Party
Grill Night
