Most KOAs are Open and Operating
At KOA our mission is connecting people to outdoors and each other. During these changing times, connecting people to each other takes on new meaning. It revolves around the respect and responsibility we have for the health of employees, franchisees and you, our guest.
We are diligently monitoring the situation around the clock and are actively working to help our campgrounds take precautions, find resources and ensure healthy stays across the US and Canada. We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health agencies for the developments and guidance.
In this climate, we know that travel patterns and needs have shifted greatly. Due to these shifts our campgrounds have experienced reductions and influxes of guests. We want you to know the safety of our guests is top priority for each of these situations and we want to thank you for putting your trust in KOA.
Campgrounds, like communities across the US and Canada, are changing processes and procedures daily. Due to the rapidness of change, check your campground’s KOA landing page at KOA.com for updates and alerts about their campground. Most KOAs are still open and operating, taking new reservations and using recommendations by the CDC and their local government to ensure the best safety measures possible.
Some campgrounds have been closed. Below is an updated list of campgrounds who are closed, due to local government shutdowns. We will continue to update this list in as real-time as possible.
