This is a great KOA with the nicest staff. The camp store was well stocked with very reasonable prices. I did use the laundry facility and that was nice and clean with great background music to relax you.. only 30 minutes to White Sands NP. They also have sleds to borrow..

My girlfriend, I and our dog stayed in one of the cabins for a short weekend visit to White Sands NP. We didn’t spend much time in the cabin but it was nice and cozy! We loved it. We would for sure stay again if we visit again or are passing through! Thanks!

We camped in a class B with three dogs. The campground is amazingly well laid out and maintained - still a work in progress with more cabins and patio sites being built. Of all the KOAs we’ve stayed in, we recommend this one most highly!

Site did not have proper sewer connection capability. Informed Mgr. of issue; she was disinterested in the potential for raw sewage spilling onto the ground. Only response was “no one has complained before…”, and “I’ll come put my foot on the hose end when you dump if it’s a problem for you…” WILL NOT stay there again; WILL NOT be recommending to anyone else.

We only stayed 1 night here. The staff was super nice & helpful. The park is simple/basic, as is the town it is in. It is a very good value imo. The rv spaces are easy, level & fairly large, and all services were good. The only semi-negative i can mention is, the common area (bathrooms/laundry/etc) suffered from septic type odor. When we want to get back to Sand Dunes park, we will return...

Some campsites are small but our campsite was spacious. Stayed only overnight. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Unfortunately, we could have used extra more late departures times due to our work schedule. We work my wife and I, for a government agency, which we have stayed at other KOA in NM they where able to accommodate extra time for check out, hopefully next time if there is, we can work something out.

This is a great campground, great friendly hard working staff, right in town all the stores and restaurants are right there or a short drive away. On our last stay I left behind a digital temperature sensor, I called the campground later that day to inform them of this mishap. The campground staff found the sensor and agreed to mail it to my home postage charged to my account. we'll be back

One of the best KOA’s we stayed at. Extremely friendly, helpful and informative staff. Park was clean and attractive. Sites were well spaced and all sites, both standard and premium had fences or walls to provide privacy together with tables grills and fire pits. Great place

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at KOA-Alamogordo. Loved having access to a warm shower and power hookups even at a tent site. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Stayed here for a trip to White Sands, and the staff even lent us sleds for the dunes! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We absolutely LOVED this KOA. We look forward to a return trip to this great campground and fun area!!! We really appreciated the work camper gal from Minnesota...knew her stuff and a joy to talk to!!!

Our first time visiting White Sands. Being able to pick up our supplies for the day at the KOA store, including the loan of two sleds, took so much of the stress and expense out of coming to parts unknown. After a day of sledding we came back to the KOA for hot showers and a good night's sleep.

It was fine. sites kind of close together but wall between helped. Nice touch to have coffee every morning. Needs a bit of sprucing up but the people working there were so nice. Used the laundry and it was nice.

Pleasantly surprised by this KOA! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and QUIET. For being right in the center of town, this KOA was as quiet as they get. Conveniently close to everything.

Was a great stopover/resupply. Staff were very friendly, even helping us find a good place to eat. Only dropped 1 star because weather, out of anyone's control, made some of the features unusable so not as great a value as when all features are usable. Bathrooms & Laundry area were all clean & well kept. Grounds nice, and love the improvements we see happening.

Very friendly staff and facility is clean and well kept. You can see the mountains from your campsite. The campground is in close proximity to White Sands National Park, which was the reason for our visit to the area.

Great Location for visiting White Sands NP. Plenty of restaurants and touristy shops. Be sure and stop at the pistachio store and spend over $100 on nuts like we did lol. Site 17 was level, kind of close but normal for KOA's in the cities, bathroom/shower very nice, very clean. Laundry room nice. Great staff. Wi-Fi OK but mostly blocked by bigger rigs. Dog park was nice. Needed more mulch tho.

I had to make many changes to my dates and Sandy at the office was always very accommodating and friendly. The campground is in a good location in town for accessing stores/restaurants and of course White Sands National Park and the World’s largest pistachio. We had a full hookup for 2 nights, bathrooms were spotless and the water pressure in the showers was excellent and the water stayed on

This was our first time staying at a KOA and we were pleasantly surprised. Reserving our stay was very easy, check-in was a breeze and our one night stay was quiet and relaxing, and our dog enjoyed it too!

All of our interactions with their staff were incredible. They went above and beyond in customer service. Ellen was so kind and let us know early when our space was available. The park is well-maintained and the spaces are large and roomy making you feel like you have some elbow room Will return !

Easy reservations and plenty of room to maneuver the rig. The store is quite nice, the sweet lady really helped us figure out a late night food plan :) Dog friendly too
