The stay was wonderful. The only issue I had and we do every year is the flies are insane. I don't know if you can spray for them. It was truly bad this year.

This was our first night in our new travel trailer. Everyone was very helpful. We found there to be very little to do that would be the only downside. Also there was one camp site that had a political flag up and the word “bullshit” on it which I found odd for a family friendly campground.

I loved the site I had a pull thru but I had no phone service Verizon and the wifi was bad,couldint call home or get on the internet

Very small campground and not big rig friendly. Very few full hook ups and they tough to get in. The trees have a lot of dead branches and need to be trimed.

We had a great time. Truck with our camper broke down on the way. Called & told them the situation. They helped us book a cabin for that evening & held our site reservation for the remainder of the weekend. We actually decided to spend one more night. The owner, as well as the staff, were very friendly & we could tell they wanted to make our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely go again. Thanks

Great location and facilities. The camp police became an annoyance. I am recommending our group find a different camp site for future camping events. I do not have kids or a dog, but complaints about kids during daytime being too noisy while playing in the pool, little dogs required to be on a leash at the tent/camper, adults being too noisy etc. No-stop.

Arrived Sun 9/6/20 for an overnight RV stay. Office cashier on the phone so I patiently waited. 4 young boys walked in shopping. The youngest was wearing a mask but the older boys held their shirts over their noses. After she got off the phone, she waited on them. States bathrooms would be sanitized ever hour which was a lie. Sisters cabin was filthy. Grounds unkept. Would not stay here again!

Our only complaint concerns the rule expecting dogs to be on leashes at all times. Our dog is ALWAYS on a leash if she is on a walk or at our campsite, however that is not happening consistently elsewhere on the grounds. There were 3 dogs in sites very close to ours that were NEVER on leashes. If it is a rule, it should be enforced or delete it. Very nice campground! We will stay here again.

I have stayed there off season without issues, but this Labor Day stay started off on the wrong foot from multiple employees. We were camping with a group of 3 other families and were told we couldn't arrange our RVs and tents and matts how we wanted because "it would kill the grass". There was no grass, it was all weeds and a big mud pit. Don't know if I will go back during peak season again.

Staff is very nice. It was a full campground over Labor Day, but it was surprisingly quiet considering all the guests. People followed quiet hours... amazing! Will definitely go again!!

We had a mostly great stay. Small, quiet KOA with a nice hiking trail and creek running through. Staff was on hand all holiday weekend EXCEPT the night before labor day. No staff was to be found and quiet hours were not being observed. This is an alcohol free location and that was not observed as well. Otherwise, we loved the place.

This is the third visit this season. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The campground is constantly being maintained. Allentown has become our family's favorite destination.

Sites too close together and it was difficult to maneuver our rig. Also, there was a multi family and/or group that gathered at the site directly across the creek from us and were extremely noisy all day and night up til midnight. Having said that, all of the campground employees were friendly and the campground was clean and well kept.

Not sure why all the positive reviews for this place. It didn’t wow us from a campsite perspective, though it wasn’t bad either. The reason for the 1 Star is we couldn’t use our sewage on our pad on the day we were leaving. In fact, no one could on our side of the campground. Something went wrong with the sewage system and the maintenance guy said “this happens at least once a year” :(

I am sorry this happened while you were here, usually this is caused by someone putting something down their drain like grease/food/paper towels which almost no septic system can handle.

We unfortunately arrived after dark on a long driving day. Nice staff member helped us to our site even though website said no help after 7pm. Site we booked said 50/30/20 but had only 50... not good. Tough location for quick overniter off of I-78. DO NOT... Arrive after dark. DO NOT... follow map apps up Evergreen st.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Friday and Saturday we do have someone who will help after hours until 11pm. Yes, do not listen to the apps that say Evergreen road, that is not the way into the campground! Thank you for your feedback.

This is a lovely campground with a pretty creek running through it. We enjoy it as we travel East and plan to make it a regular stop.

I would’ve given 5 stars if it had WiFi at my camping site but the signal fell short by ~50 yards. The flowing stream Behind us was relaxing and the hiking trail views were beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and the camp store reasonably priced

1. Freezer was broken in store. No ice cream for kids. 2. I was sold 2 bundles of wet/damp wood. $18 in wood, fire starter and color fire die. So no night fire for the kids. 3. Internet was down. So no internet for the kids at night.

Stay i 38 ft motorhome with a tow. Nice pull through spot power 50 amp water no sewer conection plus good cable.Clean showers and restroom. Nice pool though did not use.Small gental creek running along campsites.

We choose this campground due to our being listed as a journey campground. It was much further of highway that expected. The site we had was a step uphill and couldn't level unless we unhooked truck or blocked roadway. We were expecting to be able to stop, stay hooked up, sleep, then leave. Tried calling to get a new site, but no answer after hours and no other contact number

Staff was very pleasant and nice and very helpful but the only complaint I have is that bathrooms need a little bit of TLC maybe some remodeling very old, Pool also needs a little TLC it looks old and not well taking care of.

The staff were extremely friendly. The campground was very well maintained. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The only turn off was the pull thru sites where we were had the outdoor “living” sides of the RV’s facing each other which left zero privacy for our outdoor time. The good thing was we had very friendly neighbors, but it wasn’t the most ideal setup for our preference.

Only drawback is the place is laid out strange. In some sites, RVs face each other and share a yard. The dump station is on the entrance road before the office; narrow enough that using the dump station effectively blocks the entrance. Parked cars dead across from the dump station prevent passing. Internal roadways lack meaningful signage. Real nice people though, all good.

Our stay was very non relaxing, the music was so loud from a multiple tent group that we spent most of Saturday in our camper. We could still hear their music clearly. There were Men sitting in the stream. We always enjoy a campfire each night, Saturday night we did not light one, the noise from the tent site was too disturbing. We will not return to the Allentown, PA KOA

We were assigned #57 for our stay. As first-time campers and having never utilizing an RV before, this was not a very good location. Half of the advertised/reserved amenities were not within reach for us (the water and cable lines are opposite of the sewage and breaker box).

Hi, the owner was super nice, staff were so helpful...but it was crazy in there till 1:30 am. It was so loud that my kids couldn't sleep, we couldn't enjoy a relaxing night around the fire because the groups around us played music so loud the bass went through the camper, the second night I think they were asked to turn down music and then they were just screaming and laughing till 2 am.

Our site (52) was amazing and very large with plenty of grass for our dog to run around on. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Understanding that you cannot control everyone's actions, the very loud music and three gentlemen bathing in the creek was a detractor from our experience.

We planned to stay at the Allentown KOA as a layover for a group trip, just as a place to spend the night. The grounds were well kept, quiet, and amenities were enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back for another trip to enjoy this campground.

2 playgrounds were advertised only to see one there and that was taken over by tent site group. The pool was ice cold. Woke up by multiple gun shots at 2:30 am Saturday morning August 22nd.

While the staff was very courteous the campground is small and cramped. We were first taken to a site that was on a hill and next to a bathhouse, they were able to find a better spot for us. Part of the campground had several old abandoned trailers that should be removed. The pool was green and had a strong chlorine smell. Bottom line, the campground needs to be completely remodeled.

The camper that you saw that was "abandoned" has now been removed. We have been upgrading everything that we can think of over the last 7 years, maybe give us a call and let us know what you'd like to see done to improve.

check in was easy, they guided us to or spot and delivered the wood we ordered. we didn't use the facilities as we have a class A and wanted to test out the systems and get used to everything. WIFI worked good and the spot we had wasn't overly large or too small, typical for a campground.

Not to be biased but this is the hidden jewel of the Lehigh Valley. We have a great crew and we are constantly updating the campground. Looking forward to seeing everybody soon. We open the season on April 1st 2022..
