Meet the Crew:  Laura Brooks

• Laura started as a workcamper for Andover/Pymatuning Lake KOA in Spring 2022. She did a little bit of everything that was needed, from Lifeguarding to social media. In Fall of 2023 she transferred to Greensboro/Lake Oconee KOA to learn the Travel Resorts of America style of management. In June 2024, she returned to Williamsfield, Ohio to bring her passion and experience in the outdoor hospitality industry to Andover/Pymatuning Lake KOA.

What did you do before Workcamping?

• I lived on a beach in Mexico. I owned and operated several seasonal businesses, lived minimally, traveled often, spent my days as a stay-at-home mom or working a seasonal job. Before that, I worked in a traditional corporate America career in in purchasing, customer experience, and business development roles. 

What’s next for the Park?

• Something completely new. We’re changing things up to meet the ever-changing needs of the camping community, we’re putting in new programs, and trying things a different way. This year we’re bring in a sweet new program designed to get you outside and disconnecting from the daily grind. Here’s a sneak peek teaser for you, courtesy of our own Josh Miner ??
