Spring festival season starts in April, and Asheville West KOA puts you right in the middle of it. Just minutes from Asheville, you’re perfectly positioned to explore not only Buncombe County, but also the Appalachian mountain communities further west, including Waynesville, Maggie Valley, and Canton.
Camper Tip: April brings warm days and cool nights, so pack layers. It is perfect for campfires, hiking, and biking. With leaves not fully out yet, you will get better mountain views and a beautiful display of early spring blooms.
