Great place to overnight. The campground is on a hillside, the camp site pads are level. Sites are clear from any overhanging branches.

I know this is a family campground but I was there with an ** year old and a 94 year old person and just stayed one night as we were travelling. A bar in the toilet would be appreciated to assist the older persons in rising from the commode.

This is one awesome campground! We love going there. They have the best customer service. It is like visiting friends.

excellent washrooms, clean and airy. Pool was beautiful. Sites were roomy. The steep hillside made it a challenge for physical disabilities. Some areas could use a make-over. Tired and worn.

Friendly. Bathrooms could use a good deep cleaning. They were average clean for a campground, but it does not seem that campground bathroom get a good scrubbing. It may sound like l am being picky but , for example, where the tile meets another surface there always seems to be years of "crud" built up. Sites are level. Over-all above average.

Dog policy was a bit strange but other than that the place was just fine

Thank you for taking the time to do the survey. You may find it helpful to read your confirmation e-mails. We require a copy of the up to date rabies shot on file for the entire time of a campers stay. Limit 3 dogs per site. Page 9 of the KOA Directory says to call each KOA that you are traveling to prior to arrival since many have different pet policies.

We were being policed the whole time we were there.I understand that employee's will drive around to make sure everything is ok BUT every 10-15 mins. was a bit much.They would slow right down to a crawl and stair at you and your campsite.Kind of creepy.Also didn't like have to entertain one employee just because we both had dogs.We were there to spend time as a family.I don't recommend this place.

We regret that your experience wasn't as expected. No one was policing, the site you were in is just located in a very busy part of the park, and the fact that one of your dogs is the size of a pony, so attractive, and well behaved just had everyone, not just staff just having to take a look. Wish you would have let us know that you wern't comfortable we would have moved you. Happy Camping!

While this place was clean, it's very old and outdated. With some investment, this could be a great place.

What a well maintained facility and a truly knowledgeable and friendly staff. Both made our stay near Augusta Maine enjoyable. We will plan on staying again

We happened upon this place due to some vehicle issues. The staff was awesome in helping us out and accommodating. The cleanest restrooms I have seen at a campground. The kids loved the pool. The store is well stocked. The campground is dark at night which is great for stargazing and sleeping. Again, awesome staff and owners that went above and beyond with service and campground maintenance.

When I called for check in times it felt as if the time was general knowledge and got a rather annoyed reply. Although there after the front desk was very kind and helpful. The facility was very clean especially the bathrooms. I would stay again.

We stayed overnight with full hook up. Plenty to do, clean and well maintained. It is a bit hilly for a large rig. We have a 36' motorhome with a jeep tow.

Very friendly staff. Game room with free pool, ping pong and wii! We had plenty to do on a rainy evening. Loved the pool. Sites were small, but very well maintained.

I was disappointed in their attitude towards visitors - they seemed only interested in how much money they could get from you. We are retired and had our older daughter stay with us and we had to pay double for a visitor for the night and the next day double again because a long weekend but it was not busy as they claimed the reason for charging double. Will try Good Sam next time which is closeby

Had a great time at the KOA for the 4th of July weekend. We loved all of the events planned for the kiddos and how the staff made so much effort to make sure the kids were having fun! The only negative was that dogs are only allowed in limited areas, then can't be left at camp site tied up in shade with water,which makes it hard to enjoy the amenities with the fam. Other than that,we recommend it!

It was so great to have you family with us over the Holiday. Dogs are not allowed in the pool or bathrooms for sanitary purposes, and can't be left at any campsite outside unattended because the bark constantly because they miss their owners so much and disturb the other guests. We had guests complain about your dog or we wouldn't have known it was left home alone outside.

He site was clean and staff friendly. The location served our needs. It. Was quiet except for neighbor doing fireworks late last not the night

Thank you for the nice words Marty. But we just need to be clear here, fireworks are legal in the state of Maine and it was a neighboring property shooting them off. And when they continued after our quiet time we called the police and reported them. When the police arrived they shut their party & fireworks down. The only fireworks allowed in our park are ones that we do three times per year.

Great place to camp. Owners are super. Had fun playing shuffleboard and disk golf. Bathrooms are immaculate. Will be back next year.

Nice quiet campground. Everything is well-maintained, and the bathrooms are kept amazingly clean! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Tina was enthusiastic and friendly and professional when she checked us in. We would definitely go back. The campground is a small campground and does not have a ton of activities but we really enjoyed it there. Thank you Augusta/Gardiner KOA!

We made the most of our short one-night stay by playing games and using the playground and pool. The staff was welcoming and helpful. They met our every need. We would love to visit again.

The campground was very quiet, impressed on how clean the bathrooms where, and the campground was, great activities for all ages, negative would be the pool heater was down Memorial Day weekend and the swing set could be updated for first time campers we made another long weekend reservation.

We are sorry to hear that, but do not understand why you made the reservation to begin with if you had read the info on our Website, it does state that visitor fees are double over a Holiday not to mention that you were sent an e-mail on 5-22 as a reminder and giving you the schedule of events, etc.

Great campsite. Owners were friendly and facilities were clean. Even though it was a small campsite without all the bells and whistles the kids always had something to keep them busy. It was just enough for a relaxing weekend without getting bored. I would stay here again.

Very friendly owners and other campers. Always have a great time. Grandkids love the playground and indoor pavilion to do crafts and write on a huge white board. Will be back next season.

Definitely a relaxing atmosphere. Grandkids visited on weekend. They were entertained and enjoyed the experience. The bathrooms were clean, along with the showers. There are stools if you need to use them in the shower. Pets are welcome, nice well kept area. Good value at landry mat and dryer work well. All around great experience, will definitely return.
