Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice amenities and laundry. Washrooms clean. Great homemade pizza delivered to site. Picked up Xmas gifts from the camp store. We stayed there coming and going from Nova Scotia. Highly recommend.

Great park. Wish we could have stayed longer. Was told by chris to pull out of the front entrance against signage rules and not pay attention to anyone complaining. Some asswipe with a schnauzer gave me crap anyway. He must have been a concerned citizen. Lots to do for the kids. Thank god ours are out on their own and we can enjoy our marriage these days. I would return In a heartbeat.

bathrooms needed more attention, especially in the shower areas (floor mats) also showers smelt like mold. camp site was nice but wasn’t sure where to park my car. also the guy at check in was very friendly.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, modern and clean restrooms and showers, other campers were friendly and respected quiet hours. I have already recommended the Holden KOA to an acquaintance and would absolutely tent there again.

Many long term residents who do not respect your space at all. In our space constantly. One even parked her car in our space despite having more space in her own site! Long term folks were not welcoming and were very intrusive. People speed through the campground all day long. Honey wagon drives through and stinks the place up a lot. Cap the stink wagon!

you must have the wrong campground. We just bought a new honey wagon four weeks ago and it is an enclosed system. you were across from three seasonal and they all only have one car, there would be no need to park in your space. Speeding in campgrounds is a battle all campgrounds have and we are all

After the worst KOA IN Deerpark NEW YORK, which I don't understand, Why is a KOA at all,. the Bangor KOA was one of the best, professionally run, paying attention to detail camping I have ever been.

We enjoy our camping experience every time we stay at your campground, very clean, lots to offer ....activities for the kids and adults, the store has many items to choose from along with pizza,& sandwiches. Just a great family camping experience .

Nothing bad to say about the accommodations. It has all the things our kids like to do. Only down side is the road noise of Rt. 1A. Next time I’m going to bring ear plugs. Road noise way outside of the owners control. Next time we are going to look into renting a cabin or a dome. By fare the best commercial camp ground experience yet. Solid 8/10 experience.

Dogs barked all night long. If we wouldn’t have already paid for our stay we would have left. We have 3 small kids. They had to be up early to take our oldest to hockey camp. They was up 2+ times almost every night we was there

Chris and Lauren are the very best of hosts. Very helpful & pleasant, as is the rest of the staff. Sites are very clean, well kept and spacious. Camp store is well stocked with camping essentials, gift wares, rv items and even has pizza they will deliver to your site. There’s also a propane refill station. wow is all I can say. you kept telling us how great our stay was the whole nine days you were here. You told us how great your neighbors were and how everyone was friendly. we did tell you the wifi was not set for streaming movies.

They went out of their way to get us a last minute reservation on a holiday weekend with a tent site next to a full hook up site. Very clean. Lots of activities. Only complaint is the sharp edges on the pool. Many people getting legs scratched up. Otherwise a perfect weekend. Even delivered our pizza to our site during a very heavy rain storm.

Very quiet and respective at night. pancake breakfast by donation that was really good on Saturday & 4th of July had continental breakfast that was beautifully decorated red, white, & blue. Only complaint is the sites could be mowed & trimming done more often. grass was high when we arrived and not done until day before we left for a weeks stay. Only been koa since 2016. They’ll get it right.

Like the option of the campers and cabins. Makes for a nice several day get away without the trouble of a tent or renting a pull behind camper. The staff and the owners are great folks out there and plan to get at least one more stay in this year.

What a great place, bathrooms are super clean which is very important. The campground was quiet and family friendly! What I liked best was the owners!!! I was new to backing up my camper and asked for assistance and was given a big smile and a “of course we will help you!” They also came to check on me before checkout to see if I needed any assistance!! Great place, can’t wait to return

We only stayed for 1 night, while en route home to Canada. KOAs are never our 1st choice due to the fact they are too busy, too loud, too crowded & too many unsupervised children.

If KOA's are not your first choice I am not sure why you stayed here. You were in the back of the park, where it is quite. you were here 7/2 which is one of America's busiest time seeing it is July 4th week and our independence. So of course it was crowded as we were 100% full the whole week. Children were not unsupervised and children go a long with pets and campfires!

We stayed in the park model which was much bigger than I'd imagined. it was very clean and comfortable. Especially since it rained a day while we were there. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

Sites are WAY too close together. Could hardly drive my 40 ft class A through the narrow roads with cars and trailers parked all around the sides. This felt more like a private residential/seasonal campground than a holiday KOA. The staff were pleasant and courteous and gave us an upgrades site which was nice.

We upgraded you to a 130' long site. you had 30' before your neighbor. Not sure why you feel the sites close together. The way out is 20 ' wide. that leaves you 6' on either side of your coach.

Despite booking more than two months in advance we given a spot that shouldn't be rented to anyone let alone a Class A pulling a trailer. We had to move the fire pit, picnic table just to pull into our "pull thru": which was really just a bend in the road. We couldn't put out our awning in fear of it being ripped off by passing vehicles. It wasn't level, nor spacious.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

we have three water electric pull thru sites all the others have sewer. Booking 2 months in advance with so few water electric pull thru sites does not mean you get the pick of the campground. You came in late afternoon and gone first thing in the AM. You could have asked us to move you but I am sure you did not want to pay for the upgrade. Also we had now idea you had a 30' trailer.

The railroad ties on the deluxe tent sites pose a tripping hazard in the dark. They should be painted or marked somehow.
