A dated campground

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Think you have the wrong place. Last 6 years we gutted the store, bath house, pavilion, laundry. Added a commercial playground, jump pad. Re roofed the pavilion vinyl sided the bath houses and the main building. New lighted sign at entrance and paved the entrance and exit. New propane fill station. Added 3 cabins and 3 geo domes. Upgraded the electric. I don't quite understand how we are "dated"

Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the store and ice cream. It was quiet and peaceful. Also enjoyed the hiking trails.

Pull-through space I had was extremely close to the sites on either side. Could almost reach out and touch the neighboring units. For us, it would serve as a one-night way station only.

The campground was a great location for us to stop when traveling to the New Brunswick, Canada! Enjoy the pull thru site, generous tv channels and Saturday pancake breakfast.

We had gone to check out the sites ahead of time and chosen some good tent sites that were in a cluster for our family to spread out on. They were great sites and not too far from the bathhouse, which we found to be incredibly clean with nice hot water. The sundae night was ok, but we wish we had a chance to check out the pizza and ice cream at the store. Pool didn't seem heated though, very cold!

Great place. Friendly staff. Had a blowout on out fifth wheel in route to koa. Owner was extremely helpful in setting up replacement tires.

Our first site had faulty power outlets (did not work!). After we moved, we has all our systems operating, and were comfortable. Clean restrooms. It was cold when we were there on our way to the Maritime Provinces. The camp store is well stocked and enjoyable to shop. We were pleased to have the full propane tank we had dropped off the empty delivered to our site.

We were happy with our stay at this koa. It is close enough to Bangor. The host was very friendly. The site was clean. Can't go too far wrong with a koa!!

So far this is the best KOA we've been to. This is because the staff this the most friendly and helpful we've experienced. We can not overstate how much we appreciated the way they cared for us, we felt they went out of their way to care of all of their guests. Also, the sites we exceptionally well maintained, almost manicured. The maintenance staff were quick to clean the sites. Great effort.

Chris and his crew always make you feel at home. We also love how they are continually improving the facility and making it better. Definitely will be back!

Our stay was really relaxing, the campground was peaceful and quit. the camper had anything you could think of . //The staff in the office were very very accomadating . The delivery service was something I have never seen. I give them the highest rating possible. The campground is very clean ,quite, and one of the nicest staff> I have ever seen.

Our campsite was the worst we have ever stayed at. We had a great view of large rusted steel storage containers and other junk. No trees and very little grass on our site. It was like camping in a junk yard.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sir, You were on property for three nights. You were a late arrival and you never bothered to check in. If you had issues we could have moved you. The container is painted and has a fence around the area and we do need somewhere to store things. I think the review is harsh, as these are sites that are requested a lot due to the quietness of the area, which boarders our 19 acres of nature trails.

This was a fabulous campground. We were impressed with how clean the rest rooms were and how well kept the campground was overall. The one downside would be that some of the back in spots would be very difficult to get into if all lots were full because of the narrowness of the roads but I wouldn’t let that stop me from coming back. Keep up the great work.

It’s our 4th time staying there and plan on returning we love the people who work there and the place is great, clean, and safe. They go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and we appreciate it all.

We had some technical issues w/ power when we first got there, but they were able to get us into another site for the weekend that worked out ok. It's a little tight to maneuver around the roads in the campground especially if you have a larger camper. The activities and things were fun to do. We would stay again. PSA**The road this campground is located on is very busy**

Very kid friendly campground. Nice playground and pool area. Very friendly staff. Our site was more than expected with a great patio, fireplace with bench seating, and outdoor dining table and chairs. We will be back!
