There was mouse poop on the seat cushion and around the stove. Some of the lights would not work in the camper either.

Great pancakes, and the bonfire and music was awesome. We will definitely stop here again if in the Bangor, ME area.

We only stayed one weekend but everyone there was friendly and helpful. Roadway is a little tight and the campsites are a little tight as well which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Great play area for the children.

Second year we have stayed there. Will go again next year. We always get the same sight. Friendly, helpful staff. Could make improvements to the laundry area. No machines for laundry detergent.

We didn’t get a sewer hook up that I requested last March when I made the reservation. We had brownouts on our 50 amp service all afternoon on the day we stayed there. The grounds were not as well kept as most KOAs that we have stayed at. They didn’t inform us of the package we received in the mail. I had to go looking for it. This place was not up to the standards that we have come to expect.

I am sorry but we looked back on the records and you did not book a sewer site. When you check in we always remind people of the site that was booked, so they can make any changes then. You did not inform us at check in that you wanted a sewer site. With online shopping, we get 5 to 10 packages a day and we do not provide delivery. packages.

We stayed for one night on our way to Canada. Not much to say. The campsite was clean, the utilities all worked as expected, the only complaint was the site was somewhat out of level. I needed all my blocks to level my camper so that the refrigerator would not be damaged.

We reserved two nights there but only stayed for one night. There was some sort of gas leak near our site (T5) all night and the next morning. Some dog barked all night. The site is close to a major road and we heard the traffic all night. So we had a very bad night and decided we could not afford to have another one! We did not even bother to ask for a refund.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is no gas on property except for campers. When you check in we tell everyone if there is a problem to call us any time of the day or night. We can not fix a problem if we are not made aware of it!

Our site had no water hookup. Left on our own to find our site. Difficult I grew and egress.

I am sorry, but I think you have the wrong campground. All our RV sites have water. Only the primitive tent sites do not have water.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Well maintained campground. Have been staying here for the past 6 years. Close to shopping, restaurants and always enjoy driving down the coast of Maine from here.

KOA is located on a very busy highway — hard to enter and exit. Sites are very tight and access roads are very narrow. Staff was helpful.

This visit was disappointing. The bathrooms did not get cleaned once during our 3 day stay - toilet paper was replenished but floors were not swept or washed, showers were not cleaned either. Last year the place was pristine - what happened??

Campsite we had was next to a lumber yard that started unloading heavy loud objects around 6:00 am making it impossible to sleep. Other than that it was clean and friendly.

There was absolutely no privacy between campsites (I stayed on #40). It was way too close to the highway I hardly slept because of the noise. I also felt very uncomfortable about my safety because the campsite was right next to a parking lot with no fences or trees/bushes to prevent anyone not registered at the site from entering.

Overall we had a pleasant stay at the Bangor/Holden KOA. They still have a bit of work to do to update this campground. Some improvements have been made to the playground but the one bench was rotting and falling apart with large nail heads exposed! We were placed on a site that was so tight for our motorhome that we could not put our awning out. Camp store closed at 7 pm on Saturday night!

Sites too close together, garbage was over flowing, playground/jump pad too close to main road, a lot of seasonals.

Very friendly staff, they delivered firewood to our site, and answered all questions we had! Bathrooms were very clean and nice. I like that it is a dog friendly campground as well. Little walking trails in the woods were cute too.

We found this campground rather small and overcrowded. The pool was ok and the showers were clean. I did not feel that it is very child friendly. Our tent site was not grassy as advertised. It was also right next to a lumber yard which started working at 06:30a.m... Also, our neighbour in an RV played music all night. I was afraid to get out of my tent to knock on their door... We will not return

not sure why the pool was "ok" it is a 25 x 50, newly renovated with a paver deck, new pool furniture tables and umbrellas. not child friendly? We have a commercial play ground jump pad, gaga pit, free ping pong and air hockey, free movies to use. and kids activities, and free crafts on the weekends.

One night. Full hookup. Everything went smooth. Called ahead for reservations with great assistance from the office staff. Nice drive thru site with fire ring. Good job to the staff here. They must work hard go keep it running so smooth.

Everything was great. Activities for the kids and a great selection at the store. Downside was I had to listen to the owner fight with his son about a divorce he is going through.

This was just an overnight stay on the way to our destination. We felt getting into and out of our pull thru site was a little tight. The roads are very narrow.

One of the most well run KOA's we have stayed at. Fantastic store, snack bar, pizza delivery and hand dipped ice cream. The park has tons of activities. Very well maintained park. Good location close to Acadia National Park, Bangor and Bar Harbor.

wish I looked at the site before we took it the next lot to 105 had a fire going every night so smoked up our camper so we had to close the windows in the hot nights. THE MENS SHOWERS WERE CLOSED 8/14 AND 8/15 SO FOR WHAT WE PAID WE ARE NOT VERY HAPPY.

think you have the campground mixed up. We do not close our bathrooms. When we clean them we do, but there is a second bathroom you can use. The bathrooms do need to be cleaned!!!! Campers do have fires and the site you were on is 40 feet wide, maybe you placed your unit to close to their site?

Enjoyed the pool and the laundry facility was clean and affordable. Brewer stores were not too far from the campground, and Bangor Mall was a short drive.

I stayed two nights just to "get away", rented a very nice park model camper which was very clean and well maintained. Staff and owner had been very pleasant and helped me with all my needs. Will surely being going again.
