Very quiet. Owner is very impersonal ,no people skills. Changes prices at will . Never stay here again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

you went from one site to another. I moved 4 people so you could stay for two months on that site. you paid for the first month on the new site then tried to pay half the money for the second month. We did not quote you the 2nd month at half off. That is not us changing prices. Not sure why you are still staying with us still??

Nice campground...good location...40 miles to Acadia and not far from Bangor. Nice staff and they serve Gifford's Ice cream.

Washrooms need to be modernized. Ground/ lawns need to be mowed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location & the staff were friendly but the actual park needs attention. The view from our site around the community center was a broken fence with piles of old doors, tables,etc. Not pleasant & could be cleaned up easily. Just one example...

We have stayed there several times. The past two times, the site was a bit too small for our camper, even though we specified the size. The site from this past week was dirty when we arrived from the previous visitors.

We were there for the Pink Weekend. We were especially impressed with the commitment of the campground owner to supporting Sara's House. We will definitely return again in the future. We very much love this campground.

Spaces are too small for motorhomes looking for over night. I dont like paying 50 bucks per night then stay two nights. The entire day we were nit at KOA but seeing tge area. Walmart allows me to stsy all day and one night free to see the sights. Will not pay 109 dollars again. When is KOA goingbto allow me an entire 24 hour single day stay.

Although the campground itself is tight to get around in with a large motor home I would defintely go back. The manager and staff more than make up for any shortcomings with the facility. They were wonderful.

The playground for the kids was awesome. The dog park had overgrown grass and was really small. There wasn’t any space to hookup your tow vehicle, so I drove over to the school next door and used their parking lot. Staff were super nice and pizza was great!

We spent 4 nights. The restrooms/showers were great! The owners were extremely helpful (and accurate) providing local area information regarding motorcycle day trips and places to eat.

This KOA is close to everything and everyone there is very helpful and informative with directions to the places one should visit in the area. The campground is very clean with level sites for all size RV. They also have an outstanding lobster roll.

We stayed for 2 nights on our way home to Pennsylvania. We thought the campground was beautiful. The owner, Chris is a really friendly, upbeat guy who was very helpful in directing us while we were there. You can tell that he really cares about making the place the best it can be. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend others to stay there and would stay again.

Have stayed in a lot better KOA's. The fellow next to us was a very loud talker, and was staggering drunk by the time he went to bed. When we arrived they had two vehicles in our site, one unloading firewood and the other their car. They had to move both before we could move in. They stayed up pretty late watching TV outside under their awning. Wasn't real bad, but not the typical KOA.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We tell everyone if there is anything we can do please tell us. Wish you would have told us about the loud talker and the tv, we would have talked to them. If we do not know of a problem we can not address it. Any campground owner would address this if you bring it to their attention!

Beautiful campground. Everything was well kept and very clean including the sites. Sites are spacious and level. Fire pits are a nice size and staff are very friendly. The only thing that I would change would be the office hours. Would like to have seen it stay open past 7pm.

What a delightful stay we had. Chris & his staff work very hard to make your stay pleasurable. We had to arrange to have package delivered & it was no problem. We enjoyed a great pancake breakfast Saturday morning while we got our laundry done in their nice facility. Oh and least I forget the ice cream my husband enjoyed! Thank you again Chris
