I rent on site campers about 4 times in the summer, I drive about 100 miles each way and Chris is great.

The accommodations were very nice & well appointed. There was an issue with the housekeeping...some small pieces of trash, dust and women's underwear were underneath the pullout sleep sofa & there was no extra trash liner for the kitchen trash can. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay, entertainment at the pavilion on Friday was excellent, the campground was quiet, & staff very friendly & helpful.

We rented a deluxe cabin and were so pleased! It was perfect size for our family, very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We ordered a pizza from the barn and had it delivered FREE right to our sight!!! Amazing prices and one if the best pizzas we have had in a long time, the sauce is delicious! We also walked to the Kone and had an ice cream!

We stayed in one of your small cabins and it was very nice and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Very nice!!

I go there about 2-3 times during the summer, staying in a park model camper. Has all the amenities for "glamping" and the crew and owners are always welcoming.

While the campground was well appointed, as was the trailer we rented through the campground, the campground and trailer were not to our standard of cleanliness. The campground was very noisy due to nearby road traffic and smelled like sewage. The trailer was not cleaned prior to our arrival - toilet was filthy, cobwebs, food/crumbs on surfaces, hair on bed sheets, garbage not taken out! Gross

Rented an on-site RV. The a/c was great. Bed mattress was very firm (not very comfy but that's okay)... Staff was super friendly & helpful. Pool was clean. Lots of activities. The campground was pretty full, but for the most part, peaceful and quiet. The sites are very close together so if that's your preference, you'll enjoy the atmosphere. Will stay here again if in the area.

Stayed in park model trailer nice but smelled bad and bed mattress was deplorable. Didn't use any park amenities. Needed recliner to sleep in, it was ok.

Like the option of the campers and cabins. Makes for a nice several day get away without the trouble of a tent or renting a pull behind camper. The staff and the owners are great folks out there and plan to get at least one more stay in this year.

We stayed in the park model which was much bigger than I'd imagined. it was very clean and comfortable. Especially since it rained a day while we were there. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

Our stay was really relaxing, the campground was peaceful and quit. the camper had anything you could think of . //The staff in the office were very very accomadating . The delivery service was something I have never seen. I give them the highest rating possible. The campground is very clean ,quite, and one of the nicest staff> I have ever seen.

We had a great time. Plenty of activities to do and a great job on letting us know what time the activities started. Everyone in office was very friendly and helpful.

Came up for a short stay to take our daughter to college. Did not have high hopes since the last koa was a nightmare. This was not my first choice but the only one fairly close to her school that a cabin available Labor Day weekend so I took the chance. After my experience here this will be the only place I stay when I come up to her during the camping season.

There was mouse poop on the seat cushion and around the stove. Some of the lights would not work in the camper either.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Well maintained campground. Have been staying here for the past 6 years. Close to shopping, restaurants and always enjoy driving down the coast of Maine from here.

I stayed two nights just to "get away", rented a very nice park model camper which was very clean and well maintained. Staff and owner had been very pleasant and helped me with all my needs. Will surely being going again.

Distinct sewer smell was unpleasant! Campers so close together not ideal. I could smell marijuana as well.

I rented two campers for a week-one an older (worn) fifth wheel with a roomy layout but no linens, dishcloths or towels included. The other was a large newer park model with linens and some towels and for dish clothes included. We spent more time at the newer one as the tanks were full in the older camper and smelled more. But honestly, we had great week regardless of minor issues. I recommend!

I loved the deluxe cabin. It was great. However, I would suggest adding some shelves in both bedrooms for additional storage.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Campground was typical of KOAs, RV sites tightly packed in. We had a cabin/cottage for a one night emergency stay as our RV had to go on the shop. While the cabin was nicely appointed and comfortable (except for the couch, which was extremely uncomfortabl), $154 seemed an outrageous amount to pay. As the snack shop serves breakfast, they should be open by 7 am.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I never understand people that complain about price. Especially since we have a two day minimum and we let you stay one day. You were told the amount in advance and paid it. You could have stayed at the hotel that weekend for $200.00 a night.
