This campground is the best as the best atmosphere the staff a great and kind we love the ice cream and the sites with the full hook up. The Campground does some very nice games and crafts with the kids which Is also very nice

We had a wonderful time, this was our first visit to Maine and the hosts at this KOA were very accommodating. Our site was nice. We used the laundry room and it was clean and in working order. The ice cream at the camp store was delicious! Chris answered our every question and saw to all our needs. The other campers were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

great place to stay my next trip to the Bar Harbor I will stay at Bangor/Holden KOA. This a very good KOA everything is well kept.

Enjoyed our stay and elected to stay another month and a different site! Camp Hosts Chris & Lauren are great and hire lots of local youth to work the campground. Lots of great amenities for all. Power and service was stable. Grounds and sites clean and level. Look forward to another month and spending more time in Acadia, a pleasant 40 min drive away. Stayed in #22 full hookup.

A Great Staff with lots of innovative and creative activities for the Whole Family! Lots of long-term residents who really enhance the Park. Their pride in their sites is obvious and, the Café met all our overnight needs. We just need to stay longer next time!

Everyone is very helpful and courteous. Spoke with Scott, Chris and Lauren. Had to cancel my plans this time but nothing to do with the park. Hopefully we’ll be able to come visit another time. Would love to meet everyone and enjoy the area.

We stayed at this campground 2 years ago and were told that the park would be getting some upgrades. This time we stayed 1 space over from last time. The 30 amp plug was all but burnt up just like it was 2 years ago. If we didn’t have a voltage booster we wouldn’t have had enough voltage to run our ac without problems. WiFi was almost non existent.

Upon checking in, the staff was amazing and very friendly. The campground is so clean and neat. It was a very quiet and pleasant stay. We loved that the wood and food can be delivered to your site. This was very convenient. The pizza was delicious. Definitely would stay again and recommend it to others.

Bathrooms are cleaned regularly. Me and my grandchildren were in the store when a gentleman came in inquiring about pumping his camper tank. The owner, Chris, told him it would cost him $20.00. The customer nicely stated he had never had to pay to pump his tank. Chris, the manager, lost his temper....told the customer his comment was disrespectful. Asked him to leave didn't help him.

The park is very nice but very hard to get in and out of. Narrow entrance and congestion next to pool. One of my pet peeves is allowing late arrivals. We had a very nice pull through next to another pull through and at 1am a very large RV pulled in . Had a hard time finding spot lots of noise that time of night. Will not choose this KOA next time. One plus the gift/snack shop separate from checkin

Loved our stay. Facilities are clean, pool is nice, great playground for the kids and plenty of activities. Will be staying again.

Stayed 8 nights; site and facilities very clean; staff very friendly,helpful and accommodating, even when we asked about family coming to visit (5 guests); owner opened up pool for late night pool party on day temps were in high 90's

Not enough full hookup sites.. Too many kids on the kart rentals everywhere to be safe. Should have dedicated trail for them like Ft Collins CO KOA has.. Perhaps have a dedicated Journey pull through area...

The staff here is very friendly and went out of their way to help us. The campground is fairly well maintained and the bathrooms are average. My one complaint is that the sites are very close together and they seem to really shoe-horn larger rigs into sites that barely fit them. On my first trip the site was so short that there was no space to park my tow vehicle.

The owner, Chris, made us feel unwelcome. There was a mix-up when we called the front desk on our neighbors who were blasting music very late. Somehow the next morning Chris thought we had been the trouble makers and refused to come out to our site to clear things up. He half apologized after my husband showed him his call logs. But that was our 3rd attempt. Not impressed. Won't be going back.

Fantastic staff, very congenial. Narrow interior roads pose a challenge for longer rigs, opt for 50 amp pullthrough site for peace of mind.

We were there for a baseball tournament. Chris was very friendly and accommodated our needs regarding a check out time and additional nights needed around the tournament. The campground iwas clean and we'll maintained

Pictures looked wonderful only to find out those are people that stay all the time. Our pull through camp site was very nice.. bathroom and showers where very nice. Clean.. pool was old and not heated or warm...we only stayed for one night. EAsy in and out. Great play ground for children. Hooked up to trails for hikers We did not take. Store lots of gifts. Ice cream. Bingo. Friendly staff.

Our site was in a muddy area with no bushes or trees between sites. The sites were uncomfortably close together. We had full hook ups and that worked well. Cable tv was fine but WiFi didn’t work very well unless I went up to the laundry. I had to do laundry and figured a KOA would have good machines. Bad assumption! All of the machines need to be replaced. I think that is in the owner’s plans.

Three days there and bathrooms were never cleaned. A worker put a sign on the door and came back out three minutes later with a container of wet ones. Speed limit was 4.5 mph but obviously didn't apply to the owner bc he was buzzing around on a cart. The campers were quiet and courteous but the employees driving around on all loud gas equipment . No activities during the week. No escorts to site.

The pool was heavenly! Everyone was nice and it was Christmas in July, which was cute! Taking a point off because there are a lot of seasonal caMpers, which is t our style

Great family oriented campground and pet friendly too!. Owners are very nice and accommodating. We've used this campground for the past 3 years and will continue to do so because we've always had a positive experience every time we've stayed. Looking forward to our next visit.
