The staff was wonderful, very personable and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. The gravel to Acadia and Bar Harbor was easy and a good commute.

Sites are close. Paid for an upgraded site and was not comfortable having a fire in the pit because the pit was so close to the campsite/RV right next to us

They told us we get free cable. Haha the free cable didn't work properly what a joke. If the cable doesn't work don't give us it for free! The management seemed overly strict.

I think you have the wrong campground. As you can see from other reviews we are known for our help. You were here for 7 days & never interacted with us except at check in. Cable works throughout the park. We have 24 analog and 24 HD channels. Using analog channels on HD TV could have been your prob

This campsite is amazing - cleanest , and all kinds of activities - friendly and inviting . AND I repeat super clean . Only thing I found was campfires are too close and lots of smoke at times

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the sites were WAY too close. Considering that we were off-season, and the size/closeness of the sites we did not feel it was worth the price we paid.

You live in Portland Me. so I am not sure why you say off season. We are running at 85% plus capacity & season doesn't end until Columbus weekend. We are sorry for you that the campground was not empty, we are happy that it is full for us! Your trailer is 21' & the site was 42' long with a 20' wide

Extremely friendly staff was always ready to help you in anyway that they could. The activities were great and gave us something special to look forward to. Wish this campground was closer to our home so we could camp there more often!! We have stayed at more than 19 campgrounds so far on this trip and this one was the BEST!!

Very nice RV park. Sites are level gravel & there are lots of mature trees. Restrooms/showers/laundry were clean and functional. Staff was very friendly. Seemed many of the sites were for seasonal campers. Only drawback is the heavy traffic getting into and out of the park.

The hosts were fantastic in accommodating our needs (a drive through), very friendly and did whatever they could to help. The bathrooms were very clean. It was also great to have them deliver food on a rainy night after a long day driving. One camper next to us was not happy we had two dogs, thus we felt our dogs couldn’t even go outside after being cooped up in the car all day.

We stayed one week and found the staff all to be very helpful and friendly. They have good food at the restaurant and a cute ice cream store. The owner goes the extra mile to make sure you’re satisfied!!! We would stay here again!!!

Too much junk laying around seasonal campers. Makes the park look like a dump. Other than that staff and events are fun.

Are you sure you have the right campground? Look at the other reviews. KOA has strict standards and wouldn't let has be a dump.

This KOA is large and has a great store, lots of activities planned, hot food to order or ice cream shop. The only problem is not enough showers or washers/dryers for this size KOA and had no hot water for showers by mid morning multiple days and washers/dryers are old and to high $ or not working well. sometimes had to wait to do laundry. Most KOA's are $1.25 wash and $1.25 dry not $5 per load

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our 5 washers are $2.50 and our 4 gas dryers are .25 for five minutes. Not sure how you get $5.00 a load! We have 8 showers and expect most people do use their on board showers. There are 4 hot water heaters, and we do not and can not control how long people take showers.

With the remnants of Hurricane IDA pounding the east coast my wife and I decided to change our plans of going to CapeCod and decided to go to Bar Harbor instead. Chris at the KOA ,found us a site on the busy Labor Day weekend . What a great decision it was to go to Maine. My wife and I were on a 2 week tour of the Northeast .Chris and his wife run a fine operation ,Their tourist info is spot on!!

I wish they would enforce dogs being on a leash and people picking up there dog poop. We had one poop on our site that no one picked up.

We do enforce the dog leash law, unfortunately we can't be everywhere. We wish you would have called the office and we would have come out and taken care of it immediately. My maintenance staff pick up after other peoples dogs all the time. If you called we would have come and cleaned it up.

The staff were super friendly and awesome, we realized after 20 minutes of staying that we wanted to stay for a longer period of time, since 1.5 days is not enough to see Maine, they were very accommodating and after asking we were able to get a better campsite which was just awesome!!

Know that it had rained but we were assigned a muddy sight when there were several empty sites that was high and dry.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I am sorry that hurricane IDA brought much needed rain to this region. The whole campground was WET and MUDDY with all the rain we got. You were here for one night and those sites were both multiple nights. Both customers were delayed coming due to Ida. We did not know this until the evening.

We had a wonderful time at this campground and the owners and staff were always so friendly and helpful. They have great activities on the weekends and their Pizza Cafe and Ice Cream and Gift Shop were a great addition to the typical campground. We can’t wait to go back again next year!

We spent two weeks at this KOA and noticed how pleasant the staff was. The park was very clean and well maintained. The Holden-A-Cone and Red Barn were enjoyed very much.

The camp grounds are well kept and there is a lot to do I will say however that this was our third trip to this campground and there was an issue with our reservation in which the owners wife totally put the blame on us and the owner would not even come and talk to us about the issue which basically wis a communication issue between both parties I feel we could have been treated better

You made 2 reservations and never cancelled the 2nd reservation. We let you choose which site you wanted. You admitted that you received 2 confirmations. Yet you never cancelled the 2nd one! You "talked to the owner's wife" yet you wanted to talk to the owner. What is she chop liver!!!

Very nice place to stay. The grounds are neat and clean. The sites are spacious and easily accessible. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great amenities, especially for a family.

We did not stay because of a late checking in policy that would forced us to leave our pet in a parking loot without A/C. I notified the campground of the reason we would not be staying less than 10 Minutes after making the reservation on line and was told that I could cancel the reservation but would not refunded. I am very disappointed that the campground values money over customer service.

We had a wonderful time and will stay again in the future. The only criticism I have is it would have been nice to have a shorter lawn on our sites...the bugs were bad and I think a shorter lawn might have helped but otherwise a great stay!!!
