Our stay was fine. The office person was so nice and very helpful to find a spot that our RV would fit. I would have given 5 stars but the sites were very odd and too close together.There is no place to park our vehicle.Parked right up next to the fire pit.The park was very clean and the security was good.The card swipe to get back in is a good idea but was difficult to use.

We stay at a lot of KOA'S and this one does not seem to be up to your usual standards they ran out of fire wood Fri evening at 4;00 pm dont know if it has anything to do with being part of thousand trails or not

It wasn't the best weekend due to the rain, but we still got to experience a relaxing camping weekend! Cooler temperatures and warm fires! Even caught a few fish from the pond! We always love camping here and even though rain almost ruined it, we will be back of course!

The 2 stars reflects the friendliness of the front desk ladies who assisted with our Check In. Although it was raining we were put on a mud pit of a site that was flooded with 2 to 3 inches of water. The slap in the face was the site next to us was new and higher up with new rock. The seasonal people had various 4 wheel vehicles that were really loud. Lots of drinking and noise all over the park.

Everything was perfect. Loved our site. Playground was clean and cared for. The pool was run well and CLEAN!

Restroom was not clean. Camp fire rings had beer cans in them all fire pits were dirty. Probably the worst KOA we stayed at in the Midwest Odd place

Great property with so much potential. Kids had a blast catching many panfish from the pond, plenty of frog and tadpole sightings too. Sandy parking lot and resulting messy bathhouse could use regular cleaning service and updating. Pool was decent. Signage improvement for checkin would be good too. KOA portion is a tiny fraction of the total operation at this location.

The campground is overrun with golf carts and ATV. On Monday afternoon I discovered that the holding tank at my site was full, so I went to the office to report it , only to find out that the maintainence people had left for the day and couldn't get to it until Tuesday. Tuesday AM 2 guys came over and looked at it, determined it was full and never came back . We left @ 1:20 still full.

Not enough bath houses. Shower drains were clogged with hair, no water pressure, no hot water. Management should visit Shelby and Buckeye Lake KOA (Ohio). The office closed at 8:00 on a Holiday Weekend Friday, and 6:00 on Sunday.?

The people working there all seemed very nice and helpful, the place is huge with the connection to Thousand trails but KOA does well to make it work. I am not fond of the golf cart traffic but with a place that large it does make some sense. My sewer connection was very high off the ground which made that more unpleasant to deal with.

Site 20 didn't have a fit pit. Also the 4 trailers next to us "self-declared" themselves as the "drunk group" with a Drunk Crossing sign. Funny as it is, the late night noise and "flame thrower" they made from a propane tank was not appreciated.

Two stars is being very generous. This place is just not good. We camped three nights on Memorial Weekend_grass wasn't cut, trash was overflowing and the bathrooms were disgusting on Friday (arrival). The pool is three sizes too small for the amount of campers-three campgrounds in one location, the "beach" is laughable. A lifeguard closed the deep end so she could chat....I could go on & on

Unique. RV park is carved out of a large private park. We had a pleasant site on a small lake, quite private. Call host was very accommodating, taking us to our site and getting us settled. Low on amenities. Overall, very pleasant.

Could be a great campground. The roads are a mess. Full of pot holes. The sites are not keep very clean. No wi-fi in the park. They are more concerned about the RV park than the KOA. They just did add an section in the RV park with new roads while the roads in the KOA are a mine field. This could be a great KOA with a little effort.

We always enjoy the staff at Batesville, KOA! Always kind and ready to help you in any way. Loved the craft offered for the children on Saturday! Very Cute Idea!

I loved the campground. Even rainy and muddy still had a nice time. Right off the get go process of signing in was rough. Inside was told to go past gate to sign in, once past gate was told to go back to store. Carring an oxygen tank and walking back to store was uncomfortable. Had to wait 10 minutes for store to open, 15 minutes to be taken back to sites. 25 min to get signed in.

Campground needs improvements to sites,graveled more.picnic table boards rotted.just feels dirty.if it wasn't for the thousand trail portion this campground would be section 8 housing campground.

Although there has been much rain in the area lately, the lots and surrounding areas were like mini ponds. The pad areas are in much need of new gravel to help with the water and leveling of the camper. Resurfacing of the roads and lots would probably also help with runoff. If not then drainage to the ponds would help tremendously

Site 99 needs to either have the dump pit moved nearer to the road - level with the camper instead of having to dump up hill. That or make it water and electric only. It was a royal pain emptying my hose seven times by raising it up two feet high every foot of hose to dump my trailer.

I realize there was a lot of rain, but we were put on the most wet, muddy pull through we saw. Others were not as wet, and not used for the night we were there.

While it was very cold, Halloween camping was fun! We loved seeing all the decorations and costumes!

I think they try to put too many sites in too small a space. I was told when I booked that all the sites I had picked out around me where full hook-ups for my friends. When they called to reserve the sites they where not available and the ones that where did not have full hookups. I was not happy with the pool when we stayed in the summer. Too small and not accessible to disable or elderly.

it was a very nice Campground and we had a wonderful time because we were there with family and friends however we were very disappointed everything had to be cancelled but understand it was because of weather

A great time was had by all! The staff (Michelle and Jodi) were very accommodating! A few things got cancelled because of the weather...Mother Nature. I think they should have a hayride for the kids on Saturday of Halloween. A decorated golf cart parade should be scheduled for a time during the day that everyone could watch as they go around the campgrounds! We will definitely be back!!

nice, unfortunately weather cancelled flashlight candy and haunted woods. We like being able to take our golf cart there, playground nice, pumpkin painting was great...fun time.

The campground has alot to do but the sites are tight and they have a golf course that hasnt been open and needs alot of work. I always have a good time here. The staff are GREAT and helpful.

All the sites need the electric outlets replaced. the 30A outlets are burning up power cables and the electric goes in and out.

Just stayed overnight but when we checked in 15 minutes before closing the 2 women working the front desk upgraded our site to a pull thru so we wouldn't have to unhook our tow in the rain and dark😀 thank you so much! If we are ever in the neighborhood again we would stay again and hopefully have time to check out the campgrounds.

Awesome crew at the Batesville KOA! Stayed here a couple nights ago and had a couple electrical hiccups. The electrical guru fixed the power pole in minutes, and the amazing manager drove from town to help reset a dryer for me. Amazing care for the residents, and I was only an overnighter. Then today, to top off a perfect stay, I even got a huge rebate for my site fee. Will definitely be back next time I pass throughout the area.
