The bed was awful. It was like sleeping on a cotton ball thrown onto a brick. The shower sprayed everywhere and got cold fast. We were told our room had a twin bunk, however it only had a futon that had 2 separate cushions that the dog slept on. The fireplace wouldn't turn off, even when we switched it off so we had to keep the windows open. The saving grace was that they accept dogs.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Campground was clean and well kept. Nice deep pool, little chilly, but nice. Campground is a stone's throw from the interstate. Plus a very active train track on the other side of the 4 lane. Lots of constant hyway and train (horn) noise all day. Bathrooms need some changes, urinal is right beside mirrors and sinks. Good for an overnight.

I had a great time at big timber. The staff was fantastic kudos to Josh every question answered and some more than I didn’t even know I had. I have already recommended big timber to family members and friends.

We needed more light in the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, our cabin was very close to the hiway noise. We would come back again

Friendly and helpful staff, we stayed in a standard cabin, and were surprised to find linens on our mattresses, but we chose to use our sleeping bags.(this was a first in our "cabin experience";; 4 other KOAs did not provide these. Our cabin was clean / comfortable. Although the showers were adequate, they need updating. Staff recommended "Big Timber Bakery" for breakfast & it was worth the drive!

This is such an ideal place for families with kiddos to stay! So much fun stuff to keep them busy in a safe environment. The staff is great and the facility was very clean.

The cabin was decent but the beds were very uncomfortable. Old worn out mattresses and the futon one was ripped in two. There was not enough forks for 4 of us to eat at the same time. Hot water ran out in one shower. The fireplace pilot put out a lot of heat and made the cabin too warm. This really should be turned off for summer months. Play balls were all flat and there was hair piece in pool

My husbands truck broke down in Big Timber when the motels had no vacancies. The KOA had a cabin for him with some linens. They even came to the place our truck was towed to pick him up. He ended up staying 3 nights. They certainly went above and beyond. Great service. Friendly people.

This is one of my favorite KOAs to stay in. The staff is friendly, it is always clean and the party area is great for the kids. My family plans or cross country trip to stay here every year.

The stay was a standard KOA cabin experience. There is one thing that could have been improved upon. The bottom of the entrance door needed to be sanded or trimmed since it was dragging the floor and making it difficult to fully open. It was annoyimg but didn't prohibit a pleasant stay.

We arrived after 8 pm (dark, tired). My 13-year old daughter discovered mice (they were bigger than mice) in the bathroom of the cabin. We left, driving to the next KOA down the line. There at 10 pm we were offered to park (sleep in the car) for a discount ($25). The next day exhausted in a hotel I discovered I was charged full price ($140 + $65 plus fees and taxes) for BOTH of these experiences.

Very comfortable stay in a Cabin. Some road noise from the Freeway, but location is convenient and has lovely local walks along the Yellowstone River. We hope to visit again in the near future.

We reserved a tent site, but upgraded to a cabin because of the afternoon storms as we were traveling. It did not rain during our stay, but we were delighted with the cabin, and that is now our preferred option if one is available. We enjoyed picking wild raspberries, and the large bounce tube - what fun! The traffic and occasional train noise is not pleasant.

I will tell you that I absolutely loved that they provided linens. We had our own linens, but it was an added bonus not to have to get ours out and put them up. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and professional. Great KOA!

Many earwigs running around cabin. Soap bar left on counter…soap bar very unsanitary in my opinion, if going to have soap in cabin have the small ones individually wrapped. Garbage can had garbage in it still.

There was a plugged toilet in the women’s bathroom that had been there awhile and the stench was unbearable. This was noticed at 7 pm. Had to endure this through the following morning. Unacceptable! Only one staff person who was suppose to be off at 6 and he was still there at 8 pm.

Overall, the one night stay in a cabin was great with no flaws but it may not be for everyone as there is a train that passes relatively close to the campground which blew its whistle at 0500 in the morning. Otherwise, I don't have any other negative feedback for this place.

The women running the kampground was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was clean and came with bedding and pillows, which was great. They also have a lot of activities for everyone to do. The only reason I did not give them a perfect score was because, somehow, my reservation got lost in the system. it was found pretty quickly, but still gave me quite a scare.

It was ok had all the standard amenities Road and train noise and no fire pits allowed by county order but I do understand it’s not something they can control No beer sales and was told they don’t have ice the closest place to get any was 40 miles away
