Nice campground. Nice people running it. The only negative is the trains blowing the whistle every two hours. Would stay there again.

Friendly staff and nice campground, with some very good rivers for floating and fishing in the area. Had great time during are stay.

Nice and quiet stay! Thank you.

Very nice, love all the trees. The owners were very accommodating when we showed up early.

The grounds were actually quite nice. Lots of shade, clean, nice little stream to enjoy. Their biggest downfall is the interstate and train noise. I realize they have no control over that but it is a problem.

Clean! Great shower. Lots of trains at night, though, with lots of whistles

Good for a quick stop over, very close to highway entrance and exit.

We came in late in the evening and left early the next morning, so I didn't see much of the campground. However, this is right next to train tracks, and the trains blow their horn through the middle of the night. This is the only reason I rated the campground lower.

Easy access of the highway. Friendly staff. We used the pool and laundry and both were great

Nightly price was high for the amenities and train noise.. bathroom and shower set up was strange with the key card.

Great staff. Bathrooms clean and could use some updating. Nice shady spots, quiet. Big RV spot could be a little wider.

We were there for 11 nights. The staff was friendly. The only drawback is that it is out in the middle of nowhere. The closest town where you can get gas, food, etc. is 7 miles away. Also, there is a train track and the trains go by there fairly often but we got use to the noise and it really didn't bother us. It was toward the end of the season so most other RVs were only there for one night.

Nice campground for an overnight stay. Would stay again next time through. Didn't stay long enough to really get a good feel for the place so can only judge based on a few hours stay. We only heard one train and wasn't an issue.

The campground is clean, tidy and attractive. Restrooms & showers were clean and well-maintained.The only negative to our stay was the noise from passing trains during the night. The tracks run close to the campground. The train noise woke us up frequently, even though we were in a hard-sided travel trailer, wearing heavy-duty, silicone earplugs. Unfortunately, it was not a restful night.

Beautiful view in a very clean, well kept, campground- Wish we would have had more nights to stay.

Was very depressing due to lack of maintenance. The office was uninviting, the pool was closed and looked in disrepair, the jumping pillow was gross and game room was locked, and the playground was delappitated.

Easy to find and close to on and off freeway, great place but trains a bit noisy only because of crossing close by and sounding there whistle . Friendly staff and big pull thru sites

Only stopped for one night but staff very friendly. Bathrooms and showers clean. Large dog park (I have two Rotes). No kids in my camper but looks to have loads of things for them to play on. Would recommend.

nice pool, nice level sites. Wi-fi was the best I've had but we were right next to it. Our site was terrific for satellite considering there was no cable. Went to the Natural Bridge Falls, was a little hard finding but well worth it. The IGA in Big Timber was lousy, fresh stuff looked terrible, shelves were not stalked, I would drive 50 miles to get groceries, never again in that store.

Very nice campground but closeness to interstate and busy rail line with trains blowing whistles at nearby crossing made it noisy.

We had an overnight stay at Big Timer KOA. Site was big rig friendly and park was clean and neat.

Nice sites, very clean, but the train and traffic noise was a bit much.

There are no fire pits just a hibachi on a pole. I have a gas fire pit of my own but was told it was a $500.00 fine to use it. We have traveled all over the states and stayed at KOA campgrounds and have never been rejected from using my gas fire pit unit. It can be shut off immediately and it never gets hot on the underside. Price is too high also.

Nice clean campground. Friendly staff.

Train was a nuisance, bathrooms only mediocre as compared with other KOA

All was ok. sites were nice and long. they could have been a little happier to see us than they were. minimal amenities & tired looking place.

Great prairie dog town with in walking distance! Drove through on the way out of camping. Nearly missed it. Big rig friendly too.

Beautiful grounds we enjoyed our stay. Very clean bathrooms.

The campground is lovely with large shade trees.. staff is friendly and helpful.. the only down side is the train.. it passed by 6 times durring the night sounding its whistle 4 times each time.. For us it was tolerable and we would stay again.. but some people might find this a deal breaker.

Nice campground. Clean restrooms. Nice pool. Great raspberry bushes! There is quite a bit of highway noise and the train goes by quite often.

Great place and people

Most relaxing night ever! We stayed at The RV site with gazebo and privacy fence. It was amazing! Had a lovely fire in the fire place and let the dog run. We’ll be back!

The KOA easygoing way.

Great KOA. Friendly staff, clean showers, shady sites, easy access , what could be better?

Loved the trees all around, easy access from freeway.

Overall a nice facility, I stayed here two nights. Showers were great; clean, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There is some highway noise and we lucked out getting a site in the back furthest from the highway so we hardly noticed traffic. Washer & dryer worked perfect and one the lowest use fees we have seen. Staff was friendly. I recommend staying here.

The camp host was unfriendly and rude. They change the kids rate/ages once you check in, so you have a balance at check in. Most I have paid at a KOA for the least service/amenities.

Ellis was very kind. The park has grass between sites and is ringed with trees. Pool was pleasant. Train horns are fairly loud but we weren’t bothered by them - kind of enjoyed them, in fact. About a half an hour, beautiful drive, to Natural Bridge Falls. Worth the drive. We would stay again.

The park was very clean and well maintained, with helpful, friendly personnel. It would however, be nice if the driving directions had been included on the reservation confirmation e-mail, as I printed out the confirmation, not realizing that the Big Timber KOA is not really located in Big Timber, but at the next-in-line freeway exit. Just a little inconvenient.
