RV Reviews

The campground was nice and the people were friendly however there was a train about 1/4 of a mile from our RV that went by 24/7 and blew it’s whistle. Did not get much sleep while we were there.

People running KOA were extremely rude to my family who came to visit. Cut them off with four wheeler in the middle of the road and yelled at them for not stopping at desk and felt like they were watching every move my teen grandgirls Made Was very uncomfortable. Also very loud train goes by often and impossible to sleep. Sewer was also broken. Would never go there again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I was very surprised to see these remarks after you was in to check out and said staff was so helpful in moving you around several times.

only complaint was we could not use our picnic table cause it was 4 ft from neighbors sewer hose. distance between sites are only about 6 feet. they seem to get closer and closer together.

Nice KOA! Clean and well maintained. Nice pool! Pull through sites were long enough to accommodate our 39ft 5th wheel and truck however the roads are very narrow so exiting our site was a challenge.

We stayed in a 30 ft fifth wheel in a pull thru space for one night. This was a great place for a stop on our long trip home. The staff was friendly, campground was clean and our spot was level.

Thank you. We hope to see you again.

One night stay, very nice campground. Our first motorhome so am somewhat a newbie, very easy to pull in and out the next morning. Would recommend.

Great host and very clean restroom

Love your park! We know nothing you can do about it but was up all night listening to the train. Rough getting back on the road.

RV sites were a little difficult to drive in and out of.

Campground and staff were nice. Little to close to interstate and train tracks. Good place to stay for a night.

We had a nice one night stay at the BT KOA at Greycliff. They do a great job of hosting. The showers and bathrooms were very clean and we noticed that they were cleaned daily. Nice to have all the hook ups and our space was on a corner with only one neighbor. We will definitely stop there again.

Friendly helpful staff. Nice pool and showers. Good stop over for the night. Trailer air conditioner helped cover railroad noise. Close to Prairie Dog town state park which was a neat place.

Campground was clean, and was well maintained. Kids were in the pool most of time. Overall had a great 2 day stay, however we really missed having a campfire, hard to do smores over a gas stove.

Though very near road and railroad (lots of horn blowing by engineers), the lot was reasonably level, nicely shaded, well kept, and generous in size. We appreciated the secure wifi and consistent internet connection. Just passing through this time but definitely a nice spot to spend more time when schedule permits.

Nice folks . Beautiful trees.

The stay at KOA Big Timber Greycliff was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only criticism is that due to the layout of the campground, our spot was narrow.

Nice, quiet place to lay up for the night. Level spots, friendly staff and clean facilities.

The KOA was idyllic in all regards save the nearness to a very active train track that also was at a road crossing. Trains passed the crossing every 30 minutes, all night accompanied by the required horn warning at all crossings. A good nights sleep was nearly impossible.

A bit noisy, though we were warned. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Pool has a thumbs up from the grandkids.

The camp sites are beautiful. Tons of shade. We were a little bummed that the campsites didn't have a fire ring, instead of the bbq on the pole thing. Our kids had a bunch of fun bouncing, swimming and playing. We Will be back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were concerned about the noise of the train, but we’ve stayed at campgrounds where train noise was much worse!

Only stayed for one night on the homeward bound leg of a two month trip to the west coast. Had a pull through site with water and electric. Noise from the railroad track and the interstate was distracting but we ran the air conditioner all night and it cancelled out the sound. Site was clean and level and the showers were great.

Very clean would stay again

This was a very tired KOA. Noise from trains and freeway traffic is a distraction. Keep in mind that the campground is not in Big Timber; it’s located 9 miles out of town!

Peaceful

Don’t think I’ll stay there again
Jun 28, 2019
Entrance and interior roads are very narrow sites are so close you can hear your neighbor and almost no room to open slide. This is not big rig or medium rig friendly.

Our grandsons dry camp all summer so when we ask them where they want to go for bday camping they choose bug timber koa. They luv the pool and it's a fun time for grammie and papa too!
