These directions are different that "GOOGLE MAPS". They make use of Traffic Lights to help negotiate the local traffic grid
From I-84, take Exit #44. Turn North- this road is "Main Street". Travel about 3 city blocks and you will arrive at the intersection of "CORPORATE Dr." (There is a stop light at this intersection). Turn LEFT on "CORPORATE Dr." Travel the distance of about 3 city blocks.
The intersection of "5TH St.", turn right and go 1 block. This street is "W. PENNWOOD St." Turn RIGHT and go the distance of about 2 city blocks. The Boise-Meridian KOA will be on your LEFT. (This route allows you to use stop lights to navigate across traffic.

Travel about 5 blocks to "Franklin Road", Turn left (West), on Franklin Road, (stay in center lane) go 1 block to "Meridian Road" Turn Left (South), get in the right-hand lane. You will go 2 blocks to "W. Pennwood St". This street is just before "JOHN'S AUTO". Turn Right and we are on the right-hand side. Be safe!

Hello Campers!
With an unusually hot summer, it’s time to talk about some fun ways to beat the heat. Of course, we have our own indoor pool for our campers to enjoy and many do! We are fortunate in that the Treasure Valley offers activities within minutes of our KOA, while other adventures on the Payette River are within 1.5 hours.
Within a half mile from our KOA, the Meridian Pool offers a way to cool off and it’s next to a park with lots of shade trees, picnic tables, and a playground. It’s a perfect combo for a close get-a-way.
Just minutes up the road is Roaring Springs Waterpark and the Wahooz Family Fun Zone. Roaring Springs Waterpark boasts of being the largest waterpark in the Northwest. It has over 20 water attractions to include a wave pool, lazy and endless river, water slides, kids play areas, food and beverages. Wahooz Family Fun Zone has all sorts of indoor and outdoor fun. It includes arcades, carnival-type games, laser tag, go carts, miniature golf, bowling, climbing walls, and so much more!
The Children’s Museum is a great way to engage children in learning activities and fun events through creative play. It’s both indoor and outdoor. Check out their website for details of events and the planetarium show schedule.
Payette River is a fantastic venue for rafting and kayaking activities and is only about an hour and a half away. Several companies offer ½ and full day trips and some offer overnight trips. The main part of the Payette River is a class II and III. It’s a great way to have fun, create memories and experience the beauty of Idaho while offsetting the summer heat.
