We enjoyed our stay as the staff was very friendly, the facilities nice and clean. The only drawback was due to the very hilly area, our site was very tight for our 5th wheel. They did have some larger sites and I would request one next time.

no issues...like it when its not crowded. Only wish on out part is a full bathhouse on the lower part of the campground near the cabins...

Very clean. Obviously recently upgraded the sites. However, the Camper sites seemed to be small. Very congested with other campers on the weekend. We didn't feel comfortable having a campfire, as it would have been too close to our table and camper. Otherwise, a lovely setting with wonderful staff.

We showed up late and the office was closed but they had a great little packet ready for us with everything we needed. They even left a few pieces of wood by the fire pit! Very clean cabin and bathrooms along with a super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!

This was our first ever RV trip and we had zero issues with set up at the site. The neighbors (cows and goats) were adorable. Best of all, the people working the front office were above and beyond friendly.

Great campground the tent sites are nice and spacious. They have shelters over the picnic area. People there are very friendly. Bathrooms are clean we had a wonderful stay.

Great clean place with super friendly staff in the store. Great views and loved the old rims for late night fires. Bathrooms were always clean and stocked. The playground and farm animals nearby were a nice touch too. Cant wait to get back.

Campground was nice. We tent camped and they had everything from water to electric at our site. The covered picnic shelter at each site was nice also. Sites are a little to close together but we ended up making friends with the people beside us so no biggie

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again. Would have liked a little larger site as Parking our truck was a little tricky. Thank you for a good stay.

The Boone KOA was a delight. I stayed for two nights at one of their tent sites. It was a grassy site, flat and soft. I had a sleeping mat with me and set it up, but didn't really need it. The tin roof over the nearby picnic table provided shelter from the rain. The staff was super friendly, especially the owner Joanne and Kristina. And just wait til you see their goats. Exceptional!

It was a nice and relaxing weekend in Boone. The campground was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the playground and petting the animals. We will be back for another fun weekend away.

Camp ground was very muddy. Truck and camper marred up trying to get to our camp site.

Supposedly we had a prime site. The site was so unlevel the front tires were off the ground. Even with a stool I could not even get out the door, too high to ground. My husband did the dog walking. At least we were only there one night. Dogs ran loose. There was a dog fight two lots up from us. Not a pleasant place to stay.

Sites were not cleared of debris. Table was covered in mold. Mud holes all over campground. Never seen a staff member drive around to check on guess. WiFi spotty. Comes and goes. 3 tv PBS channels. Spoke with other guest who had same complaint. Dead branches hanging over campers. Just poor maintenance all around. Forget about level sites.

We stayed two weeks at the end of October. Campground is very clean and very friendly. Lots of families. When we had problems with dead battery on our toad they were very helpful, and even let us stay a couple extra days while it was in the shop.

No cable and could not get any TV channels. Internet was inconsistent and not reliable.

Had a great time although we hit a rainy week which means a mess with two dogs. Our gravel had disappeared where we parked but we called and within 30 minutes had gravel delivered.

Disappointed that Boone KOA did not have a cable connection. They told us we could stream anything we wanted, but during the evenings the wifi network was overloaded and we would never have been able to stream video or movies. Sites were a bit tight, when we built a fire in their firepit I felt we were too close to our neighbor. It was a convenient distance from the city so that worked out well.

Sites are a bit close together with some mud when it rains. With that said the people in the office were very nice. The location is convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

The lots were small and very unlevel. Trees made it hard to get in and out. No cable. Roads were more like paths than roads. We left early.

Very enjoyable, relaxing and, clean. My only complaint is the wi fi needs improvement for streaming videos and for tv, or the park needs to invest in cable tv for every site's. But we will recommend this park to everyone and will be returning!

Best KOA in North Carolina. Appalachian State, Blue Ridge Parkway, plenty of amenities.
