Liked the location and it was ok overall. Pull through sites were nice, but strange angles for the sewer hook-ups. Fire pit at our site was less than desirable, but others had very nice pits.

The location is awesome. Very beautiful, quiet area. Only issue is no cable, and no useable WiFi. The signal was so poor it really could not be used. We have a new motorhome and even with the booster we had trouble to the point of disconnecting and watch a DVD. If Cable or WiFi is necessary for you, this is not the place to stay. Sites are also a bit closer than I usually see.

Spaces were a little tight to get into and out of but manageable. No help or direction getting into site but again manageable.

We had a very nice time at your KOA. Your restrooms and showers were very clean. Wi-Fi could be a bit better, but we got along ok. Very pleasant staff and campers.

Friendly enough, but our site was tight, extremely uneven/un-level. Just not up kept!! Bathrooms were clean. Needs to be more maintained. Owners very friendly!

great location, easy to get to main Boone area attractions. My two concerns were wifi was poor, and the site I was in was very very tight for my 34 foot camper. I think if the space in front of me was not vacant, I dont think I would have been able to get out, My neighbor camper said the same thing. I think they should not put larger campers in some of the spots they are putting them in now.

Great place to stay and a convenient location to see the sights in the area like the Blowing Rock, Mast General Store and the Hickory Ridge Living History Museum.

We enjoyed our stay at Boone, the place is well kept and we were happy to have a nice dog park and area roads to walk our dog. We were greeted welcomingly and our site included a picnic table and a fire pit. This campground is lively with kids and others walking their dogs. I do wish we had a bit more room to the side, but other than that, we have only good to say about this campground.

Nice campground. Good spacing between sites, nice and shady. Hook-ups are very accessible. We did not utilize all the options, but were very pleased with our stay. Neighbors were most friendly and helpful, willing to pitch in for assistance.

Our stay was great. The staff took great care of us as we had a vehicle breakdown. JoAnne and her staff did everything they could to help us out. Thanks everyone. Can.t wait to see you all next year.

Staff is great! Campground sites were horrible! Deeply rutted, muddy, unlevel, too close together, difficult to move in and out of. Sewer pipes are buried, practically impossible to not run over them!

The staff was amazing and friendly. The campground with Very well-kept and clean. Would highly recommend it to anyone matter fact when we left we made three reservations for next year and look forward to it

Just as advertised! This is a beautiful, peaceful location on top of a mountain in a country setting, but minutes away from stores to resupply and restaurants and shops in Boone and Blowing Rock. The fall colors (mid Oct '20) were fantastic! Some of the sites/access roads might be a li tight for larger rigs esp getting in and out, but my 25' trailer fit nicely. Friendly staff and a clean park too.

Everything was good until we were leaving. We were told by staff to exit a certain way, and got our RV stuck. Next time we will leave the campground the way we wanted to go! Also, be aware there is no tv cable. The camp grounds were clean and quiet. Easy to get to and very close to town and Lowes for groceries.

No Tv stations. Could find only 1 radio station. The WiFi was horrible! At least the washer and 1 dryer worked!!

Very nice campground, great view, friendly staff. The only issue we had was leveling our trailer due to the fact that most of the campground is on a hillside and the individual sites tend to fall off a little, however, we had enough pads to block up the wheels and jacks on one side, and was not really a major problem. I would highly recommend staying here.

We love coming to the Boone KOA. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. We wish they had more activities in the campground, though.

Really nice campground! Sites a little small and our site G6 had no real fire pit but we saw where someone had made a fire with no real boundary so my husband and I had to grab a few large rocks near by to create a fire pit over the burnt area. The staff was friendly and we will come again but will ask for a different site.

Very relaxing time with family. Met other friendly campers & enjoyed getting away from the home chores & stress of work back in the city. Look forward to doing it again next year.

It was a very clean,quiet and peaceful campground. Yeas there were children playing, but that is what they are suppose to do. We enjoyed ourselves very much. KIA makes it easy.

Best KOA in North Carolina. Appalachian State, Blue Ridge Parkway, plenty of amenities.
