I hadn’t stayed in a KOA in over 20 years. And I have to say, I’ve been missing out! We stayed in the simple cabin and had the best family vacation in a while. The grounds of the KOA were impeccable. Tons of family fun activities! And the farm itself was wonderful! So much fun was had. Well will definitely be back!

Nice campground. Quiet. We didn't spend much time there because we were sightseeing. The zoo had neat animals, including llamas and alpacas.

Love the idea of the covered wagon and bunk sleeping. Bathrooms were very clean well lit and updated. Great idea to have the cut barrels to take for a fire and also the personal picnic table. Wagons needed ventilation, air panels nailed shut. Shelving in between beds had exposed nails, 2 kids were scratched. Wagons very close together could hear everything from wagon next door.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love it there and our daughter never wants to leave! This time is was full the entire time we were there but you would have never known it. It wasn't overcrowded or loud at all. The only issue we had this time was the shower water was cool 2 times when we went, the entire place was booked so that's kind of understandable. The staff is always great!!

We rented one of the RVs, it was really nice and taken care of well. There wasn’t a lot of trees around the campsites and they were all pretty open but other than that it was an amazing place. There were so many animals and things to do we didn’t have time for everything in 3days. I recommend this to anyone with younger kids or animal lovers, not your typical camping spot but well worth the vi

Stayed 6 nights without sewer hook up. We were told that those sites were rented for the weekend and we had no option to move to full hook up. Funny, several full hook up sites were open over the weekend. Hmmmm.

Fantastic! This is one of the coolest campgrounds (KOA or not) that we’ve stayed at, and we already have almost 30 nights so far this year alone. It’s clear the owners care about having a nice place with lots to do. All the animals and little buildings and farmland are amazing. It would be hard to be bored here! We just wish everything was open later (food, store, game room supplies, etc.).

Loved the KOA & the farm. Great produce, friendly staff, beautiful wildflowers! The “swamp” buggy was a plus, but comical due to no swamp. Driver was personable & very informative. We simply had a blast!!

We really loved the atmosphere that place has. Kids loved the petting zoo and seeing all the animals running around in their enclosures. Bath houses were nice and clean, only thing I wish we had was sewer hookups. That being said we would definitely stay there again and in the tree covered spots again.

Great shower bathroom combo.... nicest I’ve seen since we started Rving. Just a great farm experience. Staff was wonderful- loved the antique shop and veggie stand.

Everyone was friendly and very helpful! It was so neat and fun that we Wish the areas stayed open a little later in the day. We are excited to return soon.

Hunsader Farms KOA is one of the best KOA’s we have stayed at. The sites are big and spacious for our 40ft 5th wheel. All of the staff was wonderful and loved all the animals and the produce from this working farm. It is out in the country which we loved but was close enough to shopping and only about 30-49 minutes to The beaches and restaurants in Bradenton and close to Sarasota. Love it.

This was our second time at the Bradenton KOA. We enjoy the atmosphere here! They seem to always be making improvements to the campground. The farm stand is also something we look forward to.

We had a great time. Although we went during the week and some of the main attractions were closed because they only open on the weekends the family still enjoyed plenty to do and is very relaxing. Austin at the front desk is great.

We really enjoy camping at Hunsader Farms KOA. All the fun things for kids to do. All the adventures that aren’t that far away from the camp. Like the Dairy farm they stock in their market. The staff are welcoming even before you arrive. We can’t wait until our next trip to the farm. And many more next season.

In the middle of the night, we heard numerous gunshots, perhaps 20-30. They sounded like coming from an AR-15. While I understand that the campground is in a country setting, there were about 100 families present, many with children. It is not the kind of environment were we expect to hear the locals lighting up the night like this. Kind of makes it hard to go back to sleep after that.

We had a wonderful time and our kiddos had a blast! Old school kid fun.. bikes and playground and soccer and meeting new friends.. the gagga ball pick was a hit as well.. we had site 23 in the trees.. loved it , but not full hook up.. shaded and spacious enough for us. Some reviewers mentioned some maintenance needs to be done and I do agree they need to keep up better with repairs and such..and I'm only mentioning it because I know if someone isn't checking up on it things can get missed … also think the petting zoo should be included in the stay or at least after paying once you can go back as much as you want while you are staying at the camp grounds.. we will be back.. 😊

What a great place to stay!!! This is the first campground I've stayed at where you have so many unique options for what to stay in!! They have covered wagons, cabins, what looks like an Army tent, a modular building, a couple of silo/cabins, or bring your own tents, RVs, or travel trailers. There's different lots and some are surrounded by trees. There's a decent walking trail through trees with an obstacle course on one side that runs the length of the path. The bathrooms are nice and separate. Meaning you go into your own bathroom with a shower and not like at most places where you walk into a bathroom with several stalls and showers. For us dog owners, the dog park was big. Some places have a separate part for small dogs and bigger dogs. This is just one big area not separated. Will definitely go back again!!

A hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful and quiet. The restrooms are clean, and look brand new. We 💯recommend this very cool campground.
