Beautiful clean sites, well maintained and lots of things to do. Definitely the nicest restrooms/bathhouses I’ve ever seen. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent WiFi too. Loved our stay.

Great weekend with the family. Loved having all the animals around us. The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to any concerns. Beautiful bathrooms. The kids have already told us we will be going back. :))

We only stayed one night in a cabin. We had a campground tour from the work campers and thoroughly enjoyed the unique campground features and the care that goes into keeping it nice. Bathrooms /shower houses are impeccable. Wish we could have stayed longer but will be on our return list. We even met the owners and family!

Distance to activities good. Otherwise... Bathrooms were great but cabin doors were sticky. No grates for the fire pit. No grill at the cabin. Had to supply own propane for grills that were at the shelter. Just not what I expected from a KOA. Camp store not open after 4/5. Had to go out 10+ miles for campfire wood so no campfire experience for the 2yr olds first one. Beds weren't comfortable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

oh no! we were not informed that the communal grill was out of propane, we do supply the propane for it. all of our deluxe sites have grills on them, however our primitive cabin sites do not, as portrayed on our website.

We have stayed at your farm/KOA twice now. I do believe it will turn into a family tradition to visit every February for our granddaughter's birthday. She absolutely loved the petting zoo. Lots of fun things to do in the area. Clean restrooms and friendly KOA staff.

Nicest campground we have stayed at. Space between sites was really great, very clean grounds, amazing restrooms/showers and really nice laundry room. Quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!!

We had a bad circuit breaker at the post, called for maintenance, he was there in 5 minutes. We had a premium site, fire pit did not work, maintenance said it needed parts.

Enjoyed our three week stay. Very clean laundry area, showers and restrooms. Site well maintained but wish they were concrete. The market was nice. Enjoyed the food and ice cream. We will be returning. Just wish they had a pool.

Sites were great. The only problem was guest cars and employees speeding down the dirt roads raising dust storms. Recommendations is either put speed hu.ps in or put garvel down to hold dust to a minimum. Or even tar it while the park is closed

Campsites are to close, narrow road with sharp turn to get out of campground. Dump station does have water but no hose connection to flush. Would be great to have more than one dump station. Long line to dump...

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is a state law that we can not have a hose that connects directly to the rv at the dump station. We do have the flush tower there, however if we had a hose with a connector, some guests would clean their sewer hose out, and other guests would fill with the same hose. No one wants that.

There was a large generator type of machinery for the farm that ran the entire night on Saturday and that took away from the peace and quiet of being outdoors. The shelled road also produces a lot of dust for the tents. It would be nice if that was eventually paved. Other than that, it was a great experience and we will be back! We had a great site and the facilities are very clean!

Campground itself very clean and quiet. We rented a camper. Awning was broke which made it quite hot and sunny. Wish I would have known as I would have brought My canopy. Would be helpful to include instructions on how to use all the equipment in the camper, including the cooktop and oven. Had some issues wjth the internet and could not get TV to connect. Petting Zoo and farm stand were great.

We stayed in the covered wagons and the staff at hunsader farms are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

A very nice campground. This was our first stay and we have already booked our return visit. Everything is new, the sites are well maintained and there is a great deal to see at this campground. Also, if you like peace and quiet, this is the place to be.

This is a very unique campground! Our site was like waking each morning overlooking a savanna and watching the movements of exotic animals. This KOA is very well kept with a friendly staff and wonderful fresh fruits and veggies available at the on site farm stand. I’ll be back next year.

First, other KOAs need to take note on the restrooms here- individual accommodations! Your own private bathroom-How great is that! Second, Staying on a working farm has its advantages - your own farmers’ market���Lastly, it was conveniently located so you could get into the city proper.

My stay is always good I just wish people would take care of what Is given to the campers. The game room could use a little tlc and the pod as well. But overall it a beautiful place to stay.

We first stated when they opened a few years ago. Everything worked then. Now everything seems to be in disrepair. Broken air hockey table, broken bbq on our patio spot #98, leaky water hookup etc. please keep things running or word will spread fast…!

What a great place! friendly - and have a farmers market, a petting zoo and active fields that always have things happening. There is a huge dog part, the cleanest bathrooms i have ever been in and great sites with space. We will def be back.

Wonderful farm/ Best KOA that I have stayed at. Very comfortable/ interesting. Weekdays more desirable for us/ less crowded. Only thing we would have liked is a swimming pool ~ but of course the beach is not on far! Very responsive hosts. Excellent 3 nights there!

We stayed for 5 nights. Sites are spacious and very well kept. Restrooms were immaculate. My only complaint is they need to enforce the speed limit. There were lots of people ignoring it.

Wonderful park. Path houses perfect. Great wifi. Offers something for everyone. Only issue is the aggressive dogs. We were lunged at by several (Doberman, 2 German Shepherds) that were snarling with teeth bared and did not stop. Grateful they were chained and their owners were holding them back. I hate to think what would have happened had they gotten lose.

Very nice, clean and cool vibe spot. It’s a working farm and the KOA part seems and feels a little like a “Harvest host” deal. You enter through the farmer market section into a separate RV area behind a few pastures housing Buffalo, deer, Cows, llama and Billy goats. Great things to see all around you. They converted a number of Conestoga style wagons into overnight camping. Very fun!

We had a wonderful time and our kiddos had a blast! Old school kid fun.. bikes and playground and soccer and meeting new friends.. the gagga ball pick was a hit as well.. we had site 23 in the trees.. loved it , but not full hook up.. shaded and spacious enough for us. Some reviewers mentioned some maintenance needs to be done and I do agree they need to keep up better with repairs and such..and I'm only mentioning it because I know if someone isn't checking up on it things can get missed … also think the petting zoo should be included in the stay or at least after paying once you can go back as much as you want while you are staying at the camp grounds.. we will be back.. 😊

What a great place to stay!!! This is the first campground I've stayed at where you have so many unique options for what to stay in!! They have covered wagons, cabins, what looks like an Army tent, a modular building, a couple of silo/cabins, or bring your own tents, RVs, or travel trailers. There's different lots and some are surrounded by trees. There's a decent walking trail through trees with an obstacle course on one side that runs the length of the path. The bathrooms are nice and separate. Meaning you go into your own bathroom with a shower and not like at most places where you walk into a bathroom with several stalls and showers. For us dog owners, the dog park was big. Some places have a separate part for small dogs and bigger dogs. This is just one big area not separated. Will definitely go back again!!

A hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful and quiet. The restrooms are clean, and look brand new. We 💯recommend this very cool campground.
