The campground itself is very clean but minimal stuff to do. We camp often at state parks and are used to trails and things to explore. The activities that are available, like the petting zoo, have additional cost. They should be included in the cost of camping. For $100+ night to camp, I shouldn’t have to pay an additional fee for my kids to pet animals.

Hi Leah, For the night you stayed your camping cost included admission into our country christmas, while that event was going on, the petting zoo, train rides, hay rides, snow tubing, our santa, were all free of charge to you.

Wonderful park, very nice staff, nice setting. Will definitely go back. Only downside race cars running in background. Only a slight disturbance nothing major.

Late night check in was good. The lane that you had to queue up to was so tight we bent our trailer light. We are getting it fixed but it was brand new first time we used it. A real bummer. The pull through was great. Only stayed one night because we were traveling.

All people at the farm were very friendly and accommodating. Only a few minor issues I would address. There is a race track (cars) nearby and while we were there they were very noisy. The slots and roads are shell and gravel which made it difficult to keep debris outside coach. And last issue is the entrance/exit which is not the easiest to navigate especially if someone is entering or leaving.

Very noisy campground. Farm rented building out for birthday party, rock band playing all night, bass was booming a through the campground. Morning we were leaving, monster trucks running on the property (no kidding). Farm was kind of run down, but the campground is fairly new with nice showers. We generally stay in KOA'S because they are generally well monitored for noise, not this one ...

Prudence gave us a personal tour of the petting zoo which was so awesome! This is one of our favorite KOAs. Everyone is so nice and helpful. We will be back!

I had coffee every morning with zebra and water Buffalo! Awoke every morning to a rooster! Bathrooms were immaculate. Having breakfast available was awesome. I have been to many KOAs and this is bu far our favorite. Its a 2 day drive to get there but you bet we will be back!

Loved the petting zoo!!! Great campground, especially for families. Best laundry facilities and restrooms I have seen. Everything was super clean and organized. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lot sizes were good - plenty of space for our 43 ft Motor coach and Jeep. Only criticism I would have is it was tvery dusty from the campground roads.

had a nice week at the farm. Only problem was during the first three days there they had Monster trucks practicing right next to the camp ground. One day they started about 7 AM. Very loud. campers checking in should be warned if they are going to be practicing while they are staying at the farm.

We had a wonderful time. The campground was clean. The restrooms and showers were clean and very convenient to our site. We will definitely come again.

My 4 & 6 year old absolutely loved staying here! There was plenty of room to ride their bikes. I loved that there were fire pits at the sites. We spent all day Saturday at the petting zoo/playground. They fed the animals multiple times and there was so much to do. I wish the campground playground was bigger and shaded but we will be back.

Very friendly staff. Clean restroom facilities. Large campsites. This was our first KOA stay. Very impressive. I can’t wait to go back to the Bradenton, Florida location. Keep up the fantastic job!

We have stayed here before and returned. Very clean. Nice staff. Lovely amenities. The only thing I’d recommend is to lock yourself campsite in. We didn’t know this was an option and went with family. We were separated to people who chose to lock and it made things more difficult. Now we know and will lock next time but it was frustrating. Overall, we love Hunsader.

Absolutely loved the campgrounds! The shade trees in the section we were in added to the experience giving us shade and more obvience. Some areas need some TLC but overall great experience for first time out! Farm area has lots to offer with Farmers Market, petting zoo, lots of animals, gem mining, train and swamp buggy rides! We will be back!

Still the best campground! I see people complain about the noise from the drag strip down the road but they are always done by quiet time…it’s still an awesome place!

We so enjoyed Hunsader KOA. The campsites are spacious and comfortable with nice shade trees (with the pull through sites). The grounds were immaculate and the bathrooms - amazing!! (spotless and large/private). Large dog park :) Loved the petting zoo and antique store.

We love this location! The plus for us, other than the beautiful site, is the proximity to home and accessible by rural roads. One comment, not complaint, but it is near impossible to get hot water in the bathhouse. They are some of the nicest we have ever seen, but the hot water system just isn't working adequately.

Enjoyed are stay. The campgrounds were great and well maintained. Very disappointed in the maintenance and care of the equipment provided for the activities . Kayaks had no paddles except for 1 and the paddle boat was sunk and unusable for example. Should be more pride taken to up keep what is advertised.

The staff is so friendly they make you feel like family. This is a great place to stay with children, the train is my child’s favorite, we loved the petting zoo as well. The facility is clean and well kept. This was our second stay and we can not wait to go back!

We only spent 1 night, but it is a really cool and well kept place. They have a lot of things to do here and for people with kids theres lots to do to entertain them.

We pulled in with our RV and found a property looking somewhat neglected. The Halloween decorations were slumped over. Pumpkins rotting. Our site was so muddy where the pick in table sat, we couldn’t eat out there. In contrast, the site next to is had lovely pavers under their picnic table. All in all, it didn’t come close to our expectations. Disappointing.

I have stayed at at least 15-20 KOAs as I ravel the United States. This is, by far, the best I’ve stayed at! The bathrooms are individual/unisex with toilet, sink and accessible showers. The bathrooms are spacious so if your traveling with someone using a wheelchair, walker or any other assisting devices they’ll have an easy time. The working farm, produce and “eats” are awesome!!!

We had a wonderful time and our kiddos had a blast! Old school kid fun.. bikes and playground and soccer and meeting new friends.. the gagga ball pick was a hit as well.. we had site 23 in the trees.. loved it , but not full hook up.. shaded and spacious enough for us. Some reviewers mentioned some maintenance needs to be done and I do agree they need to keep up better with repairs and such..and I'm only mentioning it because I know if someone isn't checking up on it things can get missed … also think the petting zoo should be included in the stay or at least after paying once you can go back as much as you want while you are staying at the camp grounds.. we will be back.. 😊

What a great place to stay!!! This is the first campground I've stayed at where you have so many unique options for what to stay in!! They have covered wagons, cabins, what looks like an Army tent, a modular building, a couple of silo/cabins, or bring your own tents, RVs, or travel trailers. There's different lots and some are surrounded by trees. There's a decent walking trail through trees with an obstacle course on one side that runs the length of the path. The bathrooms are nice and separate. Meaning you go into your own bathroom with a shower and not like at most places where you walk into a bathroom with several stalls and showers. For us dog owners, the dog park was big. Some places have a separate part for small dogs and bigger dogs. This is just one big area not separated. Will definitely go back again!!

A hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful and quiet. The restrooms are clean, and look brand new. We 💯recommend this very cool campground.
