The new owners of the Buffalo KOA are absolutely wonderful. We stayed a week in the new section and a few nights in the old section and both were absolutely fabulous. I recommend a spot to anyone interested in traveling in this area. Thank you

This campground is nice but if you get the chance stay on the deluxe side - larger sites, a little easier to get in/out. The in/out on the regular sites is a little tight for 'big rigs' and parking a towed vehicle a little difficult, some pickups ended up sticking out into the drive lane making things a little tighter still. The dog area is nice enough, fenced, good size.

Friendly and kind staff. Very clean! They even have an on site dog walker you can hire. � she walked my pup, fed him, sent me pictures and left a little report card! If you have to work remotely, like me, this campground has the best wifi of any KOA I have ever stayed at.

Awesome campsites! Never stayed in a nicer spot. Highly recommended the KOA. Yes staff is younger, but very polite and efficient. We had to switch things around front desk staff was awesome.

Very nice people, was broke down with tire problems and the owner told me about “Big Horn Tire” right down the street. Nice dog run also. We’ll be back!

Very friendly & helpful! The park is very neat & tidy too! We walked downtown & had dinner at the The Virginian Restaurant - great atmosphere & food $$$ but great! We checked out the Old Occidental hotel- Beautiful downtown area

Extremely nice hosts. Clean campground and ample room. Felt right at home. Recommend this KOA. Only fault is where the hookups are located but the owners recognize this and I'm sure they're working on it.

Alyssa was awesome at check in, very poised and professional. Before even leaving home I was very put off by Anita's email lecturing campers about being polite to her staff. Campsites were packed in close together. The showers were "tight." Baths could have been smaller with space given to shower cubicles. A "family/handicap shower" might prevent families from monopolizing stalls and flooding t

Thank you for noticing our daughter, Alyssa's professionalism - Anita taught her that. We love our staff, they are great! We do have a handicap shower in our bathhouse. We send a welcome letter with helpful details to know before arrival with a small note about rude behavior, not a lecture.

Very friendly folks at check-in, very nicely kept campground, very reasonably priced. Has me wondering why it's only a 'Journey'.

Thank you! We love being a 'Journey' park because our guests are going from somewhere to somewhere and choose to stay with us along their way. We like to think we behave like a 'Holiday' for the folks that have learned how nice it is to stay around for awhile.

It is obvious you are working very hard to keep improving your campground. The new section in the back, new bathrooms, improved decking around the office. Great job. We stayed at the enclosed patio site #55 which needs attention at some point. At least a new coat of stain.

Thank you for staying, and yes, it has been so busy in site 55 it has been hard to do maintenance. We have a plan though and will be taking care of those details as time permits! Can't wait to put some love into the original section - little by little progress happens!

It is the first time we showed up at noon and not been able to check in even though there were numerous sites open including ours. We couldn’t even stay in the parking lot so had to try and drive around town with our rig. Also the young lady at the front desk wasn’t very friendly and didn’t even greet us. Also why do tent campers get there own RR. But liked our site

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Your reservation agreement is for 2 p.m. Just because an RV is not in a spot doesn't mean it is available yet. Trash pickup, dog poop, watering, weeding, mowing and repairs all need to happen in a short window. Tenters get dedicated restroom so they don't have to show their bottoms on the creekside.

One of the nicest KOA’s we have stayed. Sites are nicely spaced & the park is layer out well. You can tell the owners take very good care of their property! Very impressive!

I visited last year too..they expanded a whole new area…it’s Beautiful! Owners are the nicest people of any KOA I have visited. And vast majority of them are great! Will be back next year!

Come to find out, one of the kids working for us left the heater on at your site. We do our best to keep them all at the same temperature.

Improvements too the campground look very good. Unfortunately we stayed in the old part. Need to put a little effort into improvement and upkeep of the old part. Campsite was full of noxious thistle and weeds. Staff was friendly and campground was very quiet. Several restaurants were within walking distance. Can walk a mile and a half to downtown.

Sorry for the weeds. Yes, we were stretched by the construction and staffing shortage due to COVID. Our economy back-in spots do get less attention than the rest of the park when we are pinched like this.

Moved from Ohio to WA. Motorhome with 7 rescued dogs and 3 rescued cats. Of all the KOA's we stayed at this was by far the best. Clean, beautiful facilities..just a great place over all. Great if you have pets!

Not usually a big fan of KOAs, but this place is great. Stayed during winter protocols, so only had electric hookup. Lovely campground with lots of trees and grass and space between sites. Excellent wifi, though, since it was winter, the utilization was low. Will happily stay here on our way home.
