Nice facility. Good location. Good management and employees. Bring plenty of jungle juice or the mosquitoes will eat you alive…

Thanks for the kudos! Jungle juice is required when out of doors; surely this is the only downfall of summer. Do you know where the magical place is where mosquitos and bugs do not live? I promise not to tell anyone...

Liked the bathroom and shower facilities. Very noisy construction during the day. One bathroom facility and pool shut down. Lots of mosquitos and bugs!!

Ah, construction. Problems come with progress and it has been quite the year to try to build with the additional challenges thus delays. It is frustrating not being able to offer all services to guests; it was up and running by the 21st! We are protecting our staff by closing the lower bathhouse.

Nice place to make an overnight stay. Any longer than that, not so much. Showers were very small (tight space) and handle fell off when I tried to turn on the water. Pool was empty. Weather was in the high 90's. If pool was open, I would give a higher rating.

Will not a tiny speck very close to our vision blot out the glory of the world, and leave only a margin by which we see the blot? George Eliot Sometimes things break and we don't know until someone tells us. The handle was fixed asap! The major pool pipe burst was repaired and opened June 21.

Confirmation email said we had cable. They do not have cable. Man who checked us in said they had great wifi and we could stream any TV. Wifi was terrible. We could not watch anything with it. It constantly buffered. Park itself is old and cramped.

When you booked 8 months ago last season, we had cable. The streaming capable Wi-Fi upgrade enhanced everyone's experience. There is opportunity to access an incredible array of online programming and is what guests are asking for. We can help much better if you call before leaving a review.

We have been coming to Buffalo and staying at the KOA for 6 years. The stay is great, everyone’s very friendly & polite. We have already booked for next year!

Such a clean campground with very friendly hosts! We just did two nights to trial run our new camper and this was a great spot.

Our stop at Buffalo was not a destination stop. The one night stop was 110% of what we have come to expect from KOA.

Great wifi. Spotless facility. Wonderful owners. We had a great slot for two weeks and were able to have friends (who were staying next door in the Hampton Inn) over to grill and chill. Really great experience.

We had a nice stay there, it would have been nice to have one of the slab patios since we were there for 7 days...the overnighter seemed to have those spots..because of drought the grass area was a dirt bowl...the staff was very friendly and it looks like more spots are on the way..

You can absolutely have a patio site...just select the option when selecting your site online! There are no controls on who can select a particular site as it based on availability at the time of selection.

Very clean and well maintained. Conveniently located. Sites are a little on the close side to each other. Nothing like being close to your neighbors sewer pipe while sitting at your picnic table...

Planning for more improvements on the old section of the park for next year. Our new section - opening July 20 has incredible space between sites - 12 very long pull thru patio sites and 2 deluxe patio pull-thru and 10 deluxe creek side view back-ins. You're going to love these next time you stay.

We liked your KOA But the mosquitoes were bad, maybe because we were on grass.

Was too bad we didn't know the pool was not working, but nice campground & good location.

It is very disappointing as owners when something beyond control breaks that directly affects the quality of our guest's stay. Of course it had to happen during the hottest June on record as well. Thankfully it is now fixed and full of happy families!

Very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at many KOA's across the USA on our 2 month tenting trip and the Buffalo KOA is definitely one of the best. The employee named Rowan was exceptionally helpful. Thanks for your awesome service.

The campground and facilities were clean and well-maintained. My only gripe is that you can't really be barefoot by the creek since there's a tiny brush plant with hard spikes in places that hurt to walk on, but otherwise I would camp here again in the future.

Ouch! You are right...they are awful and unfortunately seem to be the only plantlife that can proliferate in drought conditions...ugh!

thank you Mr. Peoples for your help in making our stay pleasant. KOA Buffalo staff helped find us a Quiet, shady spot for our Motorhome and was very helpful with information about what was worth seeing in the area as well as where good places were to dine. This is our second stay with Buffalo KOA. There have been many new improvements. The RV park is clean. I recommend this is a place to stay.

We have a 42' fifth-wheel with an extra vehicle. The pull through site was large enough for us. This is a lovely park with a babbling stream running through it, many amenities and friendly staff. We would recommend this park to friends and family.

Very disappointed, no grass just dirt at site #22, no shade, right next to bathrooms that were locked! Poor tent campers! Will be looking for another campground next time!

There are 4 Creekside RV slots. There are 3 trees in that section. Shade is relative to time of day and the location of the trees. Grass is difficult in this elevation much less during a drought and extreme temps but we are persevering. Lower bathroom closed to keep staff from being overwhelmed

Grass not mowed, cable tv not working, pool broken, trash bins full, but building 40 new spaces ? Will not stay here again.

You caught us in a time we were struggling and the experience was less than ideal and does not represent our expectations. Streaming Wi-Fi replaces cable at this park. The new area is only 22 new sites and they are just beautiful for guests!

Buffalo KOA is a great stopover on our trip from Hamilton Montana to Denver. While it is not a resort destination, it is well run and we enjoy staying there. We will stay again in the future.

The staff are WONDERFUL!!!!! They are very knowledgeable about the area and will give you great ideas of what to see and do!!!! Very very accommodating! Very easy getting in and out with a long rig. The river in the back was so relaxing to listen too!! We will be back!

Very nice people in the office and others who worked there. Bathrooms and laundry were very clean and neat. Loved the K-9 park for my fur baby and the area in the back of the property, along the water, was especially nice and very peaceful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!!

Moved from Ohio to WA. Motorhome with 7 rescued dogs and 3 rescued cats. Of all the KOA's we stayed at this was by far the best. Clean, beautiful facilities..just a great place over all. Great if you have pets!

Not usually a big fan of KOAs, but this place is great. Stayed during winter protocols, so only had electric hookup. Lovely campground with lots of trees and grass and space between sites. Excellent wifi, though, since it was winter, the utilization was low. Will happily stay here on our way home.
