easy in a little confusing getting out owner came and talked to us to get our input on our site this was nice. the section we were in is brand new they were working on it while we were there. only problem is if your in the new section wifi does not work they need to put up booster in this area

So glad you liked our new expansion...it is a lovely space. The Wi-Fi equipment has shipping delays but should be installed by the end of August and everyone's experience will be great.

Stayed about a week. Service was over the top great. Grounds were top quality crisp and green. Over all park appearance and employee enthusiasm were second to none. Looking forward to going back.

Thanks to the Peoples family for a very enjoyable stay in Buffalo. We loved the new patio sites and look forward to staying again next year.

Nice campground but was disappointed. The wifi wouldnt even let us watch netflix without freezing up so we had no tv our whole stay, there was suppose to be a dog park by where our camper was which was not there, quiet time until 8 am made it hard when we are early risers. Nice place overall

Our new sites are so incredible -very private and quiet. We are also disappointed that the Wi-Fi is not up yet due to COVID production delays and won't be finished until the end of August. We tell every guest at check-in to set expectations. Map was completed before construction - things change!

Pull thrus were to short for big rigs 42 and above

Thanks for the feedback. We have started asking for specifics on tows as your trailer was massive. 42 ft rigs with large trailers need special accommodations in almost any RV park. We have several spots in the park that are a much better fit for a rig your size.

Everything was very clean and the pool was was sparkling .... a welcome resist from the heat. We also had a lovely conversation with two of the workers.

Loved our campsite, however lots of rules what time to check in to get your site ready for your visit, but found the table dirty and the grill as well. When you check in no mention of what to do with trash. Great friendly staff very helpful.

Everything was great! The staff was super friendly. The new section was beautiful and we can see the improvements and hard work going into the park. We have stayed in the past and will stay again!

Owners are so nice and really try and be accommodating. They are so booked it was hard to get a second night. But they managed. They have a beautiful new area by the creek. We could have stayed weeks. If there was an option. Thankyou. The Jackson’s

Need shade in the dog park. Need more amenities such as putt putt, shuffleboard, tennis and basketball courts. The sites were nice with the patios. The limited grass is brown but the staff is working at correcting this on some sites. The bathroom/shower house near us was closed except to the tent campers due to “not enough staff” although it seemed like there was plenty of staff running around

We have so much available in our park pool, volleyball, corn hole, giant Yardzee dice games, giant chess, giant connect four, Foosball table, and lots of games in our rec room. It's best not to assume you understand the variables of running a park when you do not work there.

Great family staff! Stayed in the new addition along the creek; fantastic site! Lots of room & fist class furniture. WiFi still a work in progress. Already booked our next stay.

Very tight spaces. Our water and electric hookups were on the patio of the space next to us. Seemed as if every inch of ground was used to jam an RV into. Not one of the better KOAs we’ve stayed in, space wise. However, the park was very clean and staff worked hard to keep it that way.

This is a beautiful RV site. Can’t say enuff great things about it. Upgrade urself to the back where there r concrete patios with lawn furniture & a GAS grill. Everything is spotless. I could stay there a week!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed 1 night only/Site 22. Disappointed we had no creek view as expected, but unique landscape decor was nice. However, I witnessed a tent camper driving a brown pick-up truck back up and hit the wagon wheel on display. We stopped at Office at check-out time to report (didn't want Management to think we caused damage), but Office was not open.

Very nice place however, our experience there was not pleasant, made reservations at least 2 months in advance, did not expect the worst spot in the campground, aprox 10 ft next to rest. Rooms/maintenance building, ok only staying one night we can live with it. Preparing to leave, pulled black tank valve only to find that the pipe was rather clogged or full closed valve now what do I do , Unhappy

The new section by the Creek is perfect for big rigs. Nice patios, umbrellas, grills, and grass. We loved it.

We got to stay in the newly opened area of this park. We loved the patio furniture and the brand new bbq grill. Nice place but spendy. I hope this is not a trend across the USA.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Surrounded on three sides by mountain fed creeks, this area is a unique experience rather than a trend. Wider than a typical, large pull through and intentionally landscaped to minimize utilities impact to maximize your experience - thus the premium. Our regular sites are very competitive.

I felt that it was misrepresented. I reserved a premium “patio” spot, which literally was a picnic table, on a paved spot. There were no trees, which is something that is heavenly advertised on that site. It was almost 80.00, and it wasn’t worth the money at all.

Great and quiet KOA. We stopped for 2 nights on our way from Mt. Rushmore to Grand Tetons and it was the perfect stopover. Family who runs the KOA are wonderful, hardworking people from what we could see!! Very relaxed place in a cute town. The area of the park that is expanding looks incredible!

Moved from Ohio to WA. Motorhome with 7 rescued dogs and 3 rescued cats. Of all the KOA's we stayed at this was by far the best. Clean, beautiful facilities..just a great place over all. Great if you have pets!

Not usually a big fan of KOAs, but this place is great. Stayed during winter protocols, so only had electric hookup. Lovely campground with lots of trees and grass and space between sites. Excellent wifi, though, since it was winter, the utilization was low. Will happily stay here on our way home.
