First time At A KOA - Rented A Small Cabin For My Dog And i , Place Was Awesome !

Very close to the freeway and in a hollow, so a lot of truck noise at night. Our Kabin was very nice though, and the heated group bathrooms were fantastic! Nice, wooded grounds - the fenced dog play area was a nice amenity.

It was nice that they had the heat on in the cabin and it was warm and cozy especially since we had driven 10 hours and 6 of them had been in pouring rain, wind and tornado threats.

Almost on the highway so very noisy. Got bug bites from the bed in cabin 3. The grounds were well maintained. The bathroom clean but I would never stay there again....

Staff very friendly. It was cold and extremely windy. Our cabin had a door with about 1/2 inch gap at bottom and side of door making it difficult even with the heater to keep the cabin warm.

We stayed in a camping cabin while traveling through the area. Had a great stay, and the staff graciously accommodated my cabin request! So nice that the cabins are dog-friendly! Nearby restaurants and shops are a big plus! We'll be back.

We stay frequently. We had an issue with cabin heat but it was rectified. Never really warmed up above 50's which made for a rather sleepless night, but it was very cold outside with snow. We will be back again, though, as it is a solid place overall and on one of our major travel routes.

We stayed in a cabin this time. The cabin was clean and was very close to the bathhouse. Great hosts Penny and Mike.

Always a nice stay here. I've been here many times. It is the 1/2 way point for me when I go to Fort Worth TX. Can't speak for the amenities but I love the Kamping Kabins. Always clean and quiet and the best hosts ever!

Nice KOA set in wooded area. But you can see & hear I40 traffic like in your backyard. But it is a KOA JOURNEY, & claim to fame is easy access from highway! But overall well laid out, well maintained, & clean. Staff nice to deal with.

Late night arrival and no reservation. The manager spoke with me and I told him I am a retired veteran. He got me into a cabin right away. Trucks on interstate a little noisy but traffic quieted about midnight. A good nights rest. Camp was clean and orderly. Bathhouse was clean as well. I will stay there again.

My only issue is the noise from the interstate but that is out of KOA control. It wasn't a big problem for the kids. They slept right through it and I didn't have too much trouble myself. Overall very pleased. It's a relatively small campground and very well kept. Nice employees as well. The restrooms/shower were well kept and in great shape.

Our hosts were wonderful & all of the campers were friendly. The cozy cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. We had a fire pit and a grill; the restrooms were very close & clean! We played volleyball and the kids loved playing games at the pavilion and hanging out the playground. Ate out one night at the Log Cabin Restaurant & spent some time in Waverly & at Johnsonville State Historic Park.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabin and bathrooms were clean and nice. Unfortunately, the site was right next to I-40 so there was lots of traffic noise 24-hours a day - not quiet at all which was disappointing. The grill and fireplace weren't in good shape - rusty and worn out.

The cabin was clean, but had a musty smell and their was no TV like other KOA’s. The bathroom concept of shower, toilet and sink in one room is a great idea. It was clean although the ventilation system was terrible. The odors from bathroom and toilet usage was very noticeable. Love the cabins. Such a nice Convienence rather than a hotel. Great when you are traveling with pets. Very nice owner. Easy access to the highway and restaurant called The Log Cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay! This is a beautiful, very well maintained property with spacious RV sites. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. I-40 is too close making it quite noisy. Overall this is a beautiful KOA property!!

Very nice park, pool looked great, the sites were clean. Some traffic noise from being so close to I40 but not too bad.

I highly recommend small refrigerators in your cabins. We always have had them in other koas. Tried to get the deluxe cabin but we had our golden retriever. Again we have been able to do that in other koas. 2 bathrooms for the cabins, normally wouldn't be an issue but the trailer campers had control of them in the morning. I had to go very bad so ran up to the office but men's bathroom was close

Only helpful news I would have loved to have known before arrival was the boil water notice. I didn’t know and luckily found out when I went to get food at the restaurant and they couldn’t serve me tea. So I bought bottled water there. Other than that, great stay!

We stayed in five KOA camping cabins during trip from Georgia to Colorado. This was the best of them all!! Clean inside & out. Beautiful flowers in pots. Great customer service! Convenient to I40.

The desk staff couldn’t have been friendlier. And the cabin was quite cute. There was some incident, and police responded, but the staff kept everyone abreast of the situation. Also, they have TONS of rentals and free activities.

Oh my gosh the staff totally went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. The deluxe cabin is worth every penny. Thank you so much. the pool was the best clean and very safe. The grounds were very well kept and VERY family friendly.

Nice little campground by the interstate. We stayed in one of the cabins and could hear the trucks from the interstate, but it wasn't bad. Super nice staff. Kamping Kabins are close to the bathhouse which was clean and updated. Would recommend for a stop off or a few days stay.

One night stay in a camping cabin. Have stayed before. Love the cabin, the fact that it's a short walk to The Log Cabin, the convenience of the showers, actually everything about the place - except all the road noise from I 40. I don't think there's anything that can be done about that.
