Staff are helpful and pleasant. We had made reservations online so check in was easy. Nice clean campground with plenty of shower/restrooms. We were in what appeared to be a newer section with well-graveled sites for larger 50 amp units. Unfortunately those are the ones nearest to I-80, but that’s the trade off for an easily accessible campground. We didn’t use most of the amenities.

The owner and his wife was very nice to us. He helped guide my camper backing into the site for proper placement. Also they told us all about Casper, where to shop and sights to see. We enjoyed going to Rotary Park to see the Garden Creek waterfall. We also went up Casper Mountain and the views of Casper in the valley were lovely. For food we ate at the Hanger right across the street, very good.

Check in was easy. The ladies at checkin were fun and efficient. The gentleman that led me to my spot was great. The park was clean and organized. The restrooms were clean with lots of hot water and a powerful shower head. The main dumpster was away from the campers so when the trash truck came in at 0600 it didn't wake everyone up. Thank you Casper KOA. I'll be back and tell my friends to visit.

Small campground in process of expanding with new owners since last year (2020). Entire campground is gravel, pet friendly, with pull thru and back in full hook up sites. Owners and staff are very respectable people while being friendly and courteous to their guest.

This is a journey KOA, but does have some nice amenities. They have a pretty nice little dog park with grass, so our dog loved it. They also have an indoor pool, which was closed, but nice it is there. Also, playground, very nice, and a putting golf area, we didn't use either of these. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Spent 2 nights campground was clean and neat. Showers/bathroom were clean. A bit of road traffic along the fence but not really their fault comes with the location.

The staff is very friendly but too many people living here and they were working on cars late into the night.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sorry to hear this, but I don't think this was our campground. We have only a few monthly campers and we do not allow people to work on their vehicles here. Hopefully you had a great experience at our KOA!

Not good if you have a dog. Absolutely no grass anywhere in sight except half of a small dog area. Whole campground is gravel which my old dog cannot walk on. Sights close together. No trees / shade. Nice people!

The front office people were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. On our departure day my husband wanted to fill our propane tanks but the office was not open yet. The manager was walking to a meeting and saw my husband and offered to call some one in to fill the tanks. That gave us a 2 hour start on our day. Great service!!!

We were pleased to be able to do a late check in after a harrowing day traveling in wind, rain and snow. Check in went smoothly. We hooked up quickly and relaxed for the night. The location was simple and easy to locate and allowed us easy return to our cross country journey the next morning.

The managers at Casper KOA were very professional and friendly and made sure that everything was fine. Unfortunately, the grounds left much to be desired as it didn’t have the ambiance of a KOA campground.

Great owners who greeted us with friendly service! The park was large and easily navigable for large rigs towing vehicles. All gravel gave a very clean appearance. Was quiet and yet close to restaurants and stores. All with a fabulous view!!

This park changed ownership about a year ago and improvements have been noted and appreciated. Check in went quickly. The new owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They have a nice dog run. We did not use the putt putt golf or pool. The laundry facility is neat and clean and they have a nice gift shop that offers essential RV accessories. Be sure and request (or insist) on a space in the office lot. There is an overflow lot that is a gravel pit. It is also convenient to the near Hanger Restaurant and the city of Casper. Would recommend.

This was a good place for a 1 night stay. The campground appears to be a work in progress. Owner met us as we pulled in just before the office closed. He noticed the reservation showed a 30 amp site in older established part of campground and offered us a 50 amp site in newer area. Yes, the newer area was completely rocked - preferable to dust when the wind blows, and no mud to deal with. Restroom/shower was newer also. And yes, this KOA is located near a busy highway - as are most KOAs. Wifi was adequate.
