The new owners have made a substantial number of improvements. I had stayed here on several occasions prior to this year and was reluctant to recommend it. With the improvements that have been made and the additional planned improvements, I now am happy to recommend this KOA. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the campground facilities were clean and maintained.

The only thing causing a reduced rating was that our site (7) was not level. Our left wheels were totally off the ground. Everything else was fine.

Very good KOA. Sewer hook up very poorly located but other than that it was very good! They drove around and checked pretty often.

Friendly staff that met us for a late check in - helped with guiding us into a back in spot after hours. It is a Journey KOA, right off the highway, so you are balancing convenience with proximity to traffic.

Honestly, this is possible the ugliest campground we;ve ever stayed at, but I can still give them a good rating because it was clean, well kept, and the people were very friendly and accommodating. It was a very good overnight stop, level so we didn't have to unhook. The ugliness is simply due to the terrain, lack of trees, and close visual proximity to the interstate.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff. Laundry is affordable and machines work well. Stay with the 2 new dryers the older one didn't run as long and didn't get the clothes dry for the $2.00. The dog park is a great addition from our last stay.

Second time staying lovely young couple running it which I loved to see and doing a really good job, recommend it, clean and spacious.

Brief stay, but sites were easily accessible, level, and clean. Did not use many Of the available amenities due to shortness of stay. The only drawback is that the area is not scenic, but that’s not the fault of the campground.

I think some notice should be that there is a charge if one arrives before 2:00 pm. The information does state that check out is 11:00 and check in is at 2:00 pm, but it does not state that one arriving before 2:00 pm will be charged a fee.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We apologize for the fee, but when you arrive 3 hours early it does cost us extra money for you to run electricity/water. This is listed on our website under general info: If you arrive before 12:30pm the day of your reservation for check in, there will be a $10 early check in fee. We hope to see you again!

Under new ownership! The place is looking good. Lots of work has gone into this KOA campground in the last year. We have stayed here many times previously since we have children that live in Casper that we come and see a few times a year. The new owners are nice and have made many improvements. Definitely look forward to visiting again.

Owner Greg is awesome and very professional. He and his staff are all about “customer service”. This is our 3rd stay at the Casper Wy KOA. We’ll be back!!

The new owners are awesome! Always helpful, they make regular rounds keeping the place up, and are knowledgeable of the area. They are still improving the site daily, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We used it at a jumping off point for attractions in the area, and couldn’t have asked for more gracious hosts. I would stay here again!

New owners..very helpful and friendly. I like the escort to our site. It is sometimes confusing as to where and how to get to the assigned site. The park is all gravel, large gravel, not the small, small kind so leveling is easy. No brown grass or problems with putting out rugs. No mud being tracked into the coach. WiFi was okay. Water pressure was great. This was our second stay here.

IMPOSSIBLE to get onto the internet. We were there for two days, unfortunately, and could not conduct business via internet, talk with friends or family because we couldn't access the net. if we got on, we were kicked off after one or two minutes. This happened even at 2 o'clock in the morning! Ridiculous. AND dishonest as you falsely advertise you have net access! NO YOU WILL NOT SEE US

We apologize that you had issues with the internet. We purchased the KOA on June 1st and are getting it updated this spring. We have made many updates to the park already in our time here, but this one we could not get done immediately.

We really enjoyed are stay we got to Casper in a snow storm and the staff was very helpful in get us to are space and with suggestions preparing for the cold weather.

Nice place, clean, organized, friendly management. The location is 4mi north of town. It would be nice if it was closer. The surrounding environment isn't very pretty, in a town named Barr Nunn, next to I-25. We saw lots of prong horned antelope in the field next door, which was nice. Those antelope are all over the place in this part of the state of Wyoming, hundreds.

Nice. Just stayed overnight twice. Staff is very pleasant. My dogs don’t like all the crushed rock-need more grass. The location isn’t bad but needs more trees. It’s good the pool is inside. The store needs more variety.

Clean park. Some rows have sites close, door to door. Our first site had water spigot right below power box, and our power cord with surge suppressor would not stay plugged in. They were good to move us.

Happy with the location of this KOA because of the great restaurant/bar, the Hanger, next door. A big improvement to this KOA would be to have additional restrooms for the back sites as well as more shade trees throughout the campground. Staff very friendly.

Great, easy in and out. Helpful friendly staff. Only negative for me was the garbage truck woke me up at 1am. (Alley??)Nothing you can do about that. Just the way it is. I went back to sleep.�

Very clean and nice KOA. Downfall was it is near the interstate and quite noisy at night. I would stay again though, and just bring earplugs. We were in a tent which does make it louder.

We stayed overnight. The intake process was amazingly fast. The staff was very courteous and helpful. For our purposes, it was perfect.

This park changed ownership about a year ago and improvements have been noted and appreciated. Check in went quickly. The new owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They have a nice dog run. We did not use the putt putt golf or pool. The laundry facility is neat and clean and they have a nice gift shop that offers essential RV accessories. Be sure and request (or insist) on a space in the office lot. There is an overflow lot that is a gravel pit. It is also convenient to the near Hanger Restaurant and the city of Casper. Would recommend.

This was a good place for a 1 night stay. The campground appears to be a work in progress. Owner met us as we pulled in just before the office closed. He noticed the reservation showed a 30 amp site in older established part of campground and offered us a 50 amp site in newer area. Yes, the newer area was completely rocked - preferable to dust when the wind blows, and no mud to deal with. Restroom/shower was newer also. And yes, this KOA is located near a busy highway - as are most KOAs. Wifi was adequate.
