Great. Just needed a safe, comfortable place in the middle of a long drive.

We like this KOA for a stop over for our trips to Montana and South Dakota. The staff keeps the grounds clean and groomed. I like how the sites are set up - almost makes you feel like you’re in a different RV park depending on the site you’re in. There’s an awesome sports/playground park across the street. The office store is well equipped. VERY nice restaurant right behind the RV park.

Very nice, “Journey” KOA. Neat, clean, large sites. Staff very nice and helpful. Thank you, Casper KOA. The Peloso’s

The deluxe cabin was great. Close to the playground for the kids. Well stocked with linens but it was the little touches that really made it a great experience.

Very good people! Accommodated us during bad winds. That is very important for traveling people!! They were the best!

We don’t normally stay at KOA campgrounds we don’t care for the proximity of other campers, but it was clean and close to why we were there in the first place. We took advantage of the dog park and laundry room

A great KOA with an indoor pool.

1 night layover on our way North. The CG was easily accessible in our big with TOAD attached. Always nice to have a "follow me" cart direct you to your spot. CG was clean and spaces are large.

Parked farthest away from rest room and showers in middle of gravel pit. Loud highway noise. Would not stay here again.

This KOA campground is all gravel. There is a small dog park but other than that the campground is not pet friendly. The city park just outside of the KOA doesn't allow dogs in there. The staff is very, very helpful! We needed to extend our stay another night due to an emergency and they were helpful in accommodating us! This KOA is great for overnighters.

Car camping for first time. My site was great for privacy though a little far from bathrooms and noisy right on the road. All in all good experience.

We book most of our stays through KOA because we know our rig will fit, full hookups and they are usually well maintained. The only complaint would be the blanket no fires even in designated areas. Your campground is completely gravel so where’s the fire danger? Fires in designated areas is safe even under extreme conditions. The blanket ban on fires is ridiculous.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

unfortunately the city of Bar Nunn does not allow any wood burning campfires, so it is out of our control.

Sewer out to far from trailer. Had to borrow your extension.

It’s a Journey so met all of our expectations. Super nice staff!

One good thing is that although we were originally given a site which would have required us to unhook our camper for our one-night stay (even though we arrived in the early afternoon), they accommodated us to find a site in which we could stay hooked up. One "bad thing," although they can't really control it, is that there are MANY LOUD vehicles in the area. (BTW, you should allow more space here

The goat heads were terrible and the road noise kept us awake.

The staff was very helpful when we had trouble arriving for our reservation due first to a mechanical problem with our motorhome and then a road closure in a remote area of Wyoming without cell service. When we did arrive the staff was helpful and the park was well maintained.

Would had been nice to have had sewar hookup. Staff was very helpful. Good recommendations.

Our stay was on our way to south Wyoming so just briefly were we there. Staff was very friendly Showers/restrooms near us could use upgrades. The area the KOA is located is noisy with local road noise and interstate noise. Again for a quick overnight it was adequate.

Very friendly and helpful staff. All that you would expect from a KOA. Very convenient to I25 for overnighters. Fun restaurant next door.

Nice stop over on our way to Dubois, WY. Do miss having trees for shade.

We were only there for 1 night, but I really appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff was for our short stay!!

Good location with close access to restaurant and local attractions.

This park is well staffed with helpful courteous people. I stayed one night other way to Colorado and one night on the way back. I would say that an advance reservation is a must as the park is very busy right now. I have stayed here many times over many years and have never had any problems whatsoever

Could use a little upgrading at the sites. However they were plenty wide enough for all our slides. Trees were high enough to not have to worry about. Grounds were very clean. The pool was very nice.

Just a quick one night stopover. Able to walk to a good restaurant without unhooking car. Not the prettiest place but fine for a sleeping spot.

It was a very nice and well kept RV park. There’s a super nice restaurant/bar directly behind it. There is a huge park across the street from it with a picnic area, tennis courts, basketball courts, ball field and a large playground. Inside the RV park there were plenty of trees. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it to our friends and family.

I needed a place with shore-power for the night as my rv batteries had died. It was after 5pm and most of the parks just gave me voicemail. The people at Casper KOA told me they'd put me in their overflow spot, which was all I needed. By the time I got in it was dusk and getting darker. The gentleman was waiting for me to arrive, helped me unhitch my towed and back into the spot. Great service.

This park changed ownership about a year ago and improvements have been noted and appreciated. Check in went quickly. The new owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They have a nice dog run. We did not use the putt putt golf or pool. The laundry facility is neat and clean and they have a nice gift shop that offers essential RV accessories. Be sure and request (or insist) on a space in the office lot. There is an overflow lot that is a gravel pit. It is also convenient to the near Hanger Restaurant and the city of Casper. Would recommend.

This was a good place for a 1 night stay. The campground appears to be a work in progress. Owner met us as we pulled in just before the office closed. He noticed the reservation showed a 30 amp site in older established part of campground and offered us a 50 amp site in newer area. Yes, the newer area was completely rocked - preferable to dust when the wind blows, and no mud to deal with. Restroom/shower was newer also. And yes, this KOA is located near a busy highway - as are most KOAs. Wifi was adequate.
