We are actually from Casper, WY, which is only about 10 miles south of Bar Nunn. We figured that we would just test out our new 5th Wheel Trailer close by on the first trip out with it. Everything went well and we learned a lot about our new camper. The campground was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. After we checked in they guided us to our campsite. Really enjoyed the stay.

Pulled in about 9pm, and even though I had been told the office would be closed, we were met at the office and taken care quickly and with a smile. We will be back. It was a wonderful experience!

SPACES WERE CLEAN AND WELL KEPT. PERSONNEL WERE FRIENDLY AND VERY ACCOMODATING. I WILL BE STAYING HERE ON MY TRIP!

On the way to Yellowstone and this was a great place to stay. Big indoor pool, clean bathrooms. Very nice place.

5 stars and 10's all around. Great place with fabulous views. The owners and assistants are friendly and informative. The restaurants behind the KOA are an added bonus. We'll be back!

All hook ups worked very well, the drain line for the septic was well placed. So many times they are sitting up so high above the ground it is difficult to drain the line even with the use of supports on the hose. Our stay was short because we were in transit, but we would stay at this site again and recommend it to friends.

Very nice overnight. Our 2nd stay here. We were escorted to a very level full hookup site. We used the dog park a few times. The young couple that own/operate are very likable.

Perfect stay, exceptionally clean grounds, wonderful staff and very convenient location. From start to finish this was a excellent stay! This was our best stay at any campground. Thank you for making us feel at home . I love that we were able to stay for a month and you have propane and such a quiet area. We will be back!

Staff are helpful and pleasant. We had made reservations online so check in was easy. Nice clean campground with plenty of shower/restrooms. We were in what appeared to be a newer section with well-graveled sites for larger 50 amp units. Unfortunately those are the ones nearest to I-80, but that’s the trade off for an easily accessible campground. We didn’t use most of the amenities.

The owner and his wife was very nice to us. He helped guide my camper backing into the site for proper placement. Also they told us all about Casper, where to shop and sights to see. We enjoyed going to Rotary Park to see the Garden Creek waterfall. We also went up Casper Mountain and the views of Casper in the valley were lovely. For food we ate at the Hanger right across the street, very good.

Check in was easy. The ladies at checkin were fun and efficient. The gentleman that led me to my spot was great. The park was clean and organized. The restrooms were clean with lots of hot water and a powerful shower head. The main dumpster was away from the campers so when the trash truck came in at 0600 it didn't wake everyone up. Thank you Casper KOA. I'll be back and tell my friends to visit.

Small campground in process of expanding with new owners since last year (2020). Entire campground is gravel, pet friendly, with pull thru and back in full hook up sites. Owners and staff are very respectable people while being friendly and courteous to their guest.

This is a journey KOA, but does have some nice amenities. They have a pretty nice little dog park with grass, so our dog loved it. They also have an indoor pool, which was closed, but nice it is there. Also, playground, very nice, and a putting golf area, we didn't use either of these. Staff was very nice and friendly.

This park changed ownership about a year ago and improvements have been noted and appreciated. Check in went quickly. The new owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome. They have a nice dog run. We did not use the putt putt golf or pool. The laundry facility is neat and clean and they have a nice gift shop that offers essential RV accessories. Be sure and request (or insist) on a space in the office lot. There is an overflow lot that is a gravel pit. It is also convenient to the near Hanger Restaurant and the city of Casper. Would recommend.

This was a good place for a 1 night stay. The campground appears to be a work in progress. Owner met us as we pulled in just before the office closed. He noticed the reservation showed a 30 amp site in older established part of campground and offered us a 50 amp site in newer area. Yes, the newer area was completely rocked - preferable to dust when the wind blows, and no mud to deal with. Restroom/shower was newer also. And yes, this KOA is located near a busy highway - as are most KOAs. Wifi was adequate.
