Some of the check in staff rude and not friendly. This will be a better stay once renovations are done. Bath house bathrooms clean but were closed or not working in both bath houses. Hot water wasn’t working in one. Mom had to shower with cold water and 10 degrees outside.

Beautiful park and close to entrance to Smokey mountains National Park. Nicely cared for grounds. Friendly staff. Only took a star away because of all the construction and closed grill during my stay.

Really loved the deluxe cabin. Great location. Loved that it was pet friendly and had a doggy playground. Will stay there again if I’m in the area.

Camp fires were not allowed. I wasn’t aware until I saw a sign on the door at arrival. A lot of traffic noise. Store closes early. Restaurant is under construction.

We had booked 2 cabins 240 241 in Aug 2021 for opening day of trout season and you check in till 4pm Cabin 240 smelled of cat urine I went to the office to tell manager Rachel and asked her to come smell it and she frefused This cut my story off It was 8:30 till we got in the cabin my email is [email protected] if you want more info on this 241 has roaches I called the law for she was aggre

Disappointed indoor pool construction was not complete. No hot water in one of the ladies bathrooms. Grass needed to be cut

Overall a very nice place stay. Only complaint is bath houses with not very clean and toilets didn’t work or clogged/dirty and hot water wasn’t very hot but in one bath house.

There were piles of leaves every where. .we had them behind our camper. Had to stand in them to hook up our camper The campers behind us there power would not work. We let them run a drop cord to our box due to they needed the power due to Temps were in the low thirties. DIDNT COME FIX THERE BKX TILL THE NEXT EVENING.Gate to the ponds didn't get opened until 11 AM Sunday.

This trip was disappointing. Bath house men's rooms both toilets were stopped up and running in the floor for 24 hrs, never got both toilets fixed, showers are not hot, pool and hot tub were out of service. Went to check out and couldn't get anyone to come to desk finally just left. Just not up to KOA standards or the local competition.

Water in bathhouses was cold! Told office staff, claimed they’d have it fixed. Cable did not work at our campsite nor did our internet connection!! We have stayed with this KOA several times in the past, this was hands down the worst stay yet! We will think about other places when booking next trip to Cherokee. Have not recommended to friends or family, instead have told how terrible it was

Everything was great except we had ask for cabins that were side by side. When we made the reservation we were told when had the cabins we had ask for. Then when we checked in they had separated us with a cabin between us. We were in the deluxe cabins did not have enough washcloth for our stay for 3 days. We were given 4 washclothes 4 people for 3days .You don't want to use the same washcloth.

I'm not sure if it was because it was the off season are there always this way but out of three bathhouses only one had hot water and the other two had very low water pressure the shower heads were broken out of wall. The campground itself was nice but with below freezing temps I didn't hook up water therefore I needed the bathhouse. I'm going to try this location again in the nicer weather maybe.

I expect 2 things from a campground 1) level site and 2) reasonably clean boathouse with good water pressure, volume and hot water. Site wasn’t as level as it should’ve been. Bathhouse could have been cleaner. Took 20 minutes to get hot water in the shower. Little water pressure and flow in shower.

Has a great time as always. Came to town for the opening day tournament. Although we didn't catch any trout, we did have a great, relaxing trip. Accommodations are always great and staff is tremendous. We'll see you soon!!

Water leak at site 377 left us dealing with a constant mud hole. Absolutely no water pressure or hot water in either shower house in spite of time of day. Overall average stay. Nothing spectacular. We have 40+ people in our party yearly. Most previous issues remain. We love the campground overall although customer service and hospitality can be lacking. Seems like staff is unprepared for events.

Unit was very dirty. Animal hair was everywhere, You should offer pet free units for people who don't like having animals inside of a living quarters. No one would answer the phone at the check in station. TV remote was missing and had to have a new TV installed.

We love staying here! We always stay in a camping cabin for the opening day of trout fishing and the big tournament. Always a great time! Can’t wait till next year.

Great location and beautiful setting. We had an issue with our camper being too large for the site we reserved and they helped us immediately to find a new site. Very little personal space between campers. The only extra open was the jump pillow. Inside pool closed, fishing closed, could not even rent a bike. Upon leaving we expressed our disappointment and the lady said it wasn't her problem.

We arrived late and was met by Patricia on the grounds while looking for our Kabin. She helped us locate our Kabin and even found us some firewood so we could enjoy a nice fire by the river after a long days drive. Thank you

Very poor site ( tree roots beside parking pad) lots of other available sites .To be fair after setting up we didn’t ask to change sights Dirty mens bathrooms ,mens showers ,stools ripped right out of the walls only one hook on the wall On the plus side it is very quiet with very little road noise

They are doing a lot of upgrades which left us without being able to review the entire park. Laundry rooms needs some updating as well. We had no cell service but was no fault of there’s. Great WiFi and cable. We really did like this park and would stay again.

Early in season and was under some construction so hard to rate. Certainly a fantastic location and views. Can tell that they are working on some updates of their cabin areas which was appreciated. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful KOA! Tent camping along the river. Staff friendly. So many things to do around the area. Short drive from the campground, you will come to Mingo Falls, Amazing!! A must see! Will stay here and camp again. We loved it!

Nearly 400 cabin / RV / tent sites. Clean, well lighted, heated bathrooms & hot showers. Easy in-N-out even for big rigs. Close to attractions, the City of Cherokee & not far from Gatlinburg TN.
