What a wonderful KOA. It's near Cooperstown museum but we would return just for the campsite. Clean, friendly staff, many thing for the kids to do and a beautiful setting. We will be back!

It was great except the the cows behind us sounding like they were in distress and making that awful distress cry all night long!

The campground was fantastic, super clean and the setting could not be beat . The entire staff was friendly and cordial. The only thing i could say is there needs to be a little more room to get out of the site . It was a bit tight

Thanks for the compliments and your feedback. We agree, and are always working to improve our sites. This has been a KOA since 1974, so the roadways were constructed prior to the introduction of 40'+ Class As, 5th Wheels and toy haulers.

The sites were too close together. You had a lot of empty sites to put campers, but you put everyone squeezed together.

Beautiful location! Fun game room for kids. Full hookup pull through site with trees. Very nice and helpful staff. Great stay!

The site was nice and level but where you put your chairs under your awning was a downhill battle. The site needs to be leveled out so that you could sit comfortably under your awning

A two night stay on a beautiful and spacious pull thru lot. Campground is immaculate! If passing through again would most definitely return!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There are not enough hooks in the shower stalls, and not many around the sinks at all. The showers are outside of the regular bathroom, which is inconvenient.

The kids loved the arcade and enjoyed the field/grass area to play baseball. Staff was great as well!

Nice spot. Well kept. Friendly staff. Just too many rules. State law is no wood from outside 50 mi. radius. This place allows no wood and fines if you bring in your own. I had a bag of non-pressure treated lumber scrapes for kindling. I asked if I could use it as I was checking in. Was told I could not. No mats allowed either so a rainy wet weekend turned into muddy tracks in the camper

We have large grassy sites that we try to keep grassy -- we ask that our guests use step off mats only, so you can wipe your feet off at the door. We are trying to save our trees from infestation that comes from traveled wood that we can't certify. Two rules are not so many, don't you agree?

We gave stopped here several times over the years. The staff is wonderful and the park is clean and well maintained. Will continue to stop whenever we are in the area

Are very nice facility. Very clean and friendly staff. There are cows that will wake you up at the crack of dawn. That’s the only reason my rating wasn’t a 10.

Moooooooo...we love our neighbors across the road, but know that they can get a bit loud sometimes. They are not always in that pasture. Sorry it was a problem for you.

This was a beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained campground. It’s located very close to Cooperstown, Cherry Valley, and several other points of interest like Glimmerglass park. Our children loved the pool and playing wiffle ball in the open field. We would definitely stay again when visiting this area.

Very disappointed with this park and we stay at KOA's all the time. Office staff started by making an issue out of the quiet time at night, then proceeded to tell us that our firewood that we bought down the road couldn't be used, and we had to buy theirs if we want a fire. Also got charged a daily fee for our 2nd vehicle, never before anywhere. Very narrow roads for getting in and out of sites.

We're sorry you were disappointed. Office staff was simply reviewing the rules with you. And yes, we don't allow outside firewood because of insect infestation, and we know for a fact that other KOA's charge for additional vehicles. We hope you find a campground more to your liking.

This KOA is one of my favorites for a peaceful stop in the beautiful, scenic Cooperstown area. Sunsets are breathtaking, Staff friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

Flying the gay pride flag is offensive in our opinion and should not be advertised where there are so many children. The park was nice enough, but that just ruined it for us.

The Peace Flag that's flown here is not a gay pride flag. It includes all the colors of the rainbow and black and brown. It's to let everyone know that all are welcome and appreciated here. We're sorry you find diversity offensive.

We had no television for first two days and able to get one channel that faded in and out. The campsite we had was extremely close as the next sites hook up was at our picnic table. The people behind us must had been the gathering site for the three family. So there was loudness all around us with kids and dogs excessively noisey. It was not a pleasant stay.

Camping during the 4th of July long weekend tends to be more crowded, filled with young children, and family reunions. We hope you'll consider returning during a quieter time - we're sorry it was unpleasant for you.

A Journey KOA. Exceptionally clean. Grass sites. Excellent wifi, streaming no issues be advised no cable. Unusual policy-rugs must be picked up each night so we didn't use ours but it left our additional living area looking sad.

This was our first time at Cooperstown KOA Journey and we had a great time. The campground is very clean and well maintained. We stayed on a drive-thru site and were very pleased with the amount of room that we had. The owners were fabulous and everyone that worked at the campground was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this campground without hesitation. We will be back!

The people running the campground were super nice. Nice size and quiet at night, nice families and older couples. Great location in the middle of so much beauty. Bathrooms were nice but the showers were a little tough on cold morning and basic compared to other KOA's where I have stayed. Sites were a little narrow and parking scarce. Might have been dictated by existing trees.

Didnt like the fact that we had to look at and smell other campers septic lines,everytime we opened our camper doors.Most campsites are put in back to back ,for that reason.On a good note facility was very clean and neat Staff very friendly.

Our family could not be more pleased with our stay at the Cooperstown KOA. Kate and Kaaren, the owners, make the experience seamless from start to finish. The facilities were kept spotless. The service was exemplary. We are looking forward to going back and spending some time here again. Thank you for a great experience.

Great KOA. Everything is neat, clean and organized. The staff is very focused on keeping every camper happy. Laundry room is superb. Individual showers are a good size with solid pressure and vey clean.

People were friendly & pool was clean & refreshing. My only complaint was 2 campers allowed their dogs to go leash free. My little dog can be very vocal & agitated when approached by an unleashed dog. We were told the leash on dogs was mandatory & counted on that for the safety of all.

Thanks for the high marks! You are absolutely right about the leash rules, and we did course correct the guests who allowed their dogs to run off leash outside of the dog park. Not sure why they thought the rules didn't apply to them.

Kaaren & Kate were fantastic hosts. The campground was great. We enjoyed talking with Kaaren as we were leaving, and we stayed for a cup of coffee/tea that she offered. She took time to sit down and chat with us for about 15 minutes, giving us wonderful suggestions re: Cooperstown and where we might enjoy breakfast. We'll be happy to even go out of our way to stay there again!

Staff was amazing, super friendly and very helpful. The site was level and our pull-thru site (113) had nice shade. The view from the campground is outstanding. You are surrounded by farm land and on a quiet road. I would recommend Cooperstown KOA to anyone looking for a serene camping experience.

A nice quiet comfortable campground. What I really wanted to tell you about is what the management did when I was concerned that falling pine cones might break my skylight on my motor home. One of the owners climbed up on my roof and placed a rubber mat over my skylight to protect it. Then took it down when it was time for us to leave. Now that's service!!

This is the best campground.Its very clean,has a great dog park and a big clean pool.I got a flat tire on the moterhome and there staff helped me change it They are great.
