We stayed in the delux cabin. It was so clean! Fridge was good sized, AC worked, and paper towels/TP were there as well as hand and dish soaps and trash cans/sacks which was a nice surprise. Would stay again.

To start with: I almost drove on by the KOA because the sign said KOA "Holiday" and no other name. I was looking for "Custer/ Mt. Rushmore". I had no information that there was such a thing as "Holiday" associated with KOA. After studying your book, I decided that it is your way of categorizing your camps. Otherwise: Nice location, well arranged sites and roadways. Power & water only but good

Our campsite was perfect! We had the woods behind us which gave us plenty of privacy, and enjoyed having deer strolling through the woods and rabbits hopping around. Our brother-in-law and his family stayed at the other end of the campground in the cabins, but it was not too far to walk back and forth. Being from Minnesota, we especially enjoyed not being bothered by mosquitos!

The children enjoy the jumping pad and swimming pool. We had a nice camp site for our tent. Great place for families.

Terribly unlevel full service sites that even though I stayed 6 nights, management would not help look for better sites . I have RV equalizer levelers and had front tires off ground over 7 inches

Staff was friendly and more than willing to give us ideas for things to do. Campground was clean and relatively quite, nothing the hosts couldn’t handle. Cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The hosts are terrific! Our friends had a tent pole collapse during a thunderstorm and the hosts went out of their way to help them.

Very nice staff and a quiet wooded setting. Bathrooms and laundry room clean and well maintained. We tented so I can't rate the RV amenities. Just wish the pool were a little bigger.

We enjoyed our stay at the Custer/Mt. Rushmore KOA. The staff was friendly, our site was level, facilities were clean, and the location was perfect for visiting the area’s attractions. It was our first time at a KOA, now we’re hooked! Thank you for an amazing experience! �

The staff were very courteous. I was unable to get hot water for a shower. I was staying in a cabin with a bathroom but could never get hot water for shower

We greatly appreciated that they accommodated us for 2 extra days because of Motorhome engine problems. Lack of concern over bad internet and no TV because of being in a hole for the last 2 nights was unacceptable.

By far the friendliest employees of any KOA, and that’s saying something because KOA folks are usually very friendly. This is a wonderful little campground but the warmth of the staff puts it over the top. Keep up the great work!

Love staying at Custer KOA. This is the 4th time here as it provides a great base for exploring the Black Hills without the congestion.

We thank you enough for the wonderful stay. We also rented car on your suggestion! It was great , Lamont brought right to our campsite. Except Alpine Restaurant in Hill City , I think Custer has the best food places. Your 5 miles from CrazyHorse Monument & 11 Mount Rushmore! Friendly Staff & great grocery convenient! Deer and rabbits were our welcoming committee! Ha! Rentals of all kinds in town.

Excellent customer support. The staff was very helpful welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The site was wonderful. We stayed in site 202 which was extremely well appointed and spacious. I highly recommend that if you have the opportunity spend a little extra and tale advantage of the upgraded sites. But you really can't go wrong with any RV site there.

Check-in was super easy and we got taken to our site. Site was mostly level and VERY clean. The staff did a great job of going around to the sites between reservations and cleaning. Like most KOAs we have been to, the sites are tight. This was only an issue on our last night as people were coming in for the holiday weekend.It was a good "base camp" for visiting Custer.

They have some very nice sites here, but some are not so good. Mine was not so good because my picnic table and outside food prep area was within inches of the next camper's sewage hookup, and i could smell it. Otherwise the facilities were clean and the management was friendly enough.

There was a super bad storm the night we were arriving and we had reserved a tent site but recurved a call from the KOA clerk and she asked if we wanted to upgrade to a cabin.... Thank you we accepted

Amazing experience here. When we arrived we realized our travel trailer tire was nearly flat and the folks working at the campground went way out of their way to help us block up our trailer extra while we waited for a tire change. They had all the amenities anyone would need, sites were large, campground was quiet, nice amount of tree coverage. Will definitely return!

We were so lucky to have found this place. After seeing a ton of other campgrounds while we were here this is the place. You don't feel like your in a parking lot. This places gives you plenty of space and your surrounded by tall trees. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Staff is also amazing.
