Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

IN PLACE OF THE NATIONAL KOA  CANCELLATION POLICY LISTED BELOW (AND ANYWHERE ELSE IT IS DESCRIBED), THE DELAWARE WATER GAP~POCONO MOUNTAIN KOA HAS THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION POLICY:

A 10-day cancelation notice is required on all sites. Cancelations made within 10 days of arrival will result in the forfeiture of all deposits. All cancelations made before the deadline will receive a full refund less a $20 cancelation fee per site. Groups and seasonals may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. THE DELAWARE WATER GAP~POCONO MOUNTAIN KOA takes a deposit equal to your full stay to expedite your check-in and get your enjoyable stay started.

By clicking the I ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS box when making your reservation you agree to the Campground's Cancellation Policies.

NOTES for All Campsites including All Rental Units, Cabins, and Deluxe Cabins: 

Pets are permitted ONLY in Pet-Friendly Rentals. There are a limited number of cabins that are Pet Friendly. Special deposit rules apply. Two pets maximum in Pet-Friendly units. Additional fee for having a second pet in Pet-Friendly units applies at check-in. Please call the office to confirm your Pet-Friendly Rental. Smoking is not permitted in any of our Rental Units. No tents may be put up on sites with Rental Units. All rental units are subject to a one-time supplemental fee of $25 at the time of registration and/or a one-night rental fee. Tents are not permitted on any Rental Unit, Cabin, Deluxe Cabin, or RV site and only one tent may be set up on a tent site.

NOTES for ALL GUESTS:

We are trying to preserve the look of nature at night, we do not allow floodlights on the campsites. One car is allowed per site; additional cars must park in the Visitor Parking Lot. Only one tent may be set up per tent site and no tents may be set up on RV sites. If you would like a tent site next to a friend please advise us. Tents are not permitted to be set up after 10:00 pm.  Day or Night visitors must stop and register at the office upon arrival and pay the visitor fee.  

For all Rental Units, Cabins, and Deluxe Cabins check-in begins at 3:00 pm daily and check-out time is by 10:00 am.  

For RVs and Tents, check-in begins at 2:00 pm daily and check-out time is by 11:00 am.

Seasonal campers, long-term campers, and large groups have alternate rules for cancellations. 

WE ARE OPEN ALL YEAR, HOWEVER, THE WATER MAY BE SHUT DOWN ON ALL SITES, CABINS, AND RENTALS FROM AROUND MID-OCTOBER THRU AROUND MID-APRIL, DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER.  OUR MAIN BATHHOUSE IS OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS PER WEEK WITH HEAT & HOT SHOWERS! WATER DELIVERY IS AVAILABLE.

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
