Nice camp But site had broken glass in the stones and a big fuel spill Residue that still smelled Only 1 night or I would have asked to move Just stayed in camper

Our stay at the Denver East/Strasburg KOA was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the well maintained dog park area. The ONLY reason we are giving less than five is due to the VERY cramped spaces. This park is a “Holiday” park so guests should be comfortable to stay for a bit. We were too close to our neighbor to open awning and sit outside and relax.

Close to the interstate causing some traffic noise but, not bad. Easy on and off with some tight turns for entrance but still manageable. Hunts pizza from KOA office was good and reasonable.

We really enjoyed the cabin with a patio, pool and friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again.

We were booked into this KOA for 15 nights. They placed us on a site one away from the lift station, so we had a horrible sewer gas smell. We couldn’t cook or eat outside due to the smell. When I asked to be moved to a different site, the owner very rudely told me we could check out and he would refund our money. Didn’t care or try to work with us at all! So we checked out!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sold out almost every night. There were NO other spots to move the guest to that were open the 15 nights their reservation was for. They would of needed to move sites more that 3 times in those 15 days in order to get them into a different site. 2 of those would of been 30amp water only.

Poor water pressure and poor Wi-Fi. Price is too high due to 40 mile distance from Denver. Staff was very nice.

Richard, who helped us get to our site, was so very kind! He made us feel welcomed right away. The sites are a little close together so not as quiet as I like, but definitely a good spot to use to stay.

Much improved from our stay last year. Most spaces fairly tight, but accessible. Owner very involved in the running of this campground, a good thing.

Great friendly people. Bbq, ice cream, pizza, pool all at this location. The WIFI wasn’t strong enough to use at our site. Good stay overall.

The park is very accessible from the freeway and is only about half an hour from Denver, there is highway noise but it didn't bother us. The park was clean and the people were very nice. The only bad thing is the cable signal was barely watchable to unwatchable, I did call and leave a message afterhours but no one contacted us.

The staff is so friendly, the campground was very well maintained and extremely family/child friendly, It was quiet in the evenings and we LOVED our stay and we will definitely back with this campground again!

I stayed in a small cabin (that’s not a cabin) and it was ok, except the full mattress. It just needs to be replaced, it’s too flat and hard. I slept on one of the bunk beds, which was better. This KOA is close to the highway, so you hear the traffic. I did feel a bit unsafe here. I arrived after the office closed and my key was already in my cabin. I liked that. Bathroom was clean.

Had the grandkids, dad, and the boss. ( my wife) We were met at the gate by a friendly employee, who took us directly to our campsite. It was quiet, clean, level and spacious. We were located next to a beautiful big diesel pusher and a big fifth wheel. Bathrooms were clean, nice store at the office ( I needed to get a sewer seal-required for this site apparently.) Traveling in a 31ft class A.

Cabin was quiet, comfortable, and clean. So pleased to have air conditioning, and not too far from bathrooms. It was a great choice for traveling with my dog who barks at every noise in a hotel room.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Spaces were close. The 5th wheel on one side of us appeared to be permanent and needed some attention. We were able to look inside the covered wagons that are available to rent. Very impressed! We ate at the BBQ place next door and it was delicious!!! When the add said Denver East, we thought it would be a little closer. Will stay again if in area.

We only had a one night stay. We were so impressed with the helpful and friendly staff. The campgrounds was very clean and quiet. This will definitely be on our list of places to stay in the future.

Quite far from Denver and very noisy. Sites are close together. Owners were very nice and helpful and the park well maintained. Lots of things for kids to do too.

Everything was great. Flat sites. Good close by. Staff was super friendly. Didn’t give it 5 stars only because it is really close to the Interstate so was fairly loud at night. We were able to drown out some of the noise with our fan.

Everything was great. The Cabin No.8 was super nice. I had not stayed in one of these cabins before so it was a nice surprise to find it clean and comfortable and the swing on the front porch was just what i needed to unwind after a long day of driving from Lincoln, Nebraska.
