Only 2 available showers in women's room makes it tough to get in especially when a carload of non campers drive up to use showers too.

Makes no sense - check in is2PM, (you plan arrival accordingly) - office closed from 12-3. Upon registering,I'm told that I've been assigned a different site-but receptionist writes down that I can stay in the spot I'm in & settled. 5:30 (2-1/2 hours later), snow has started, manager (I assume) comes to my door, knocks & says I have to move - no mention to help me. HORRIBLE! Not again - ever.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We were still on our winter hours when the guest came in. Guest map was posted outside the office door so they could get to correct site if they arrived when closed. Guest accidentally pulled into wrong site that had GROUP reservation in it and yes had to move sites to the correct one.

Sooooo....you probably knew the train tracks were literally next to the rear property and it woke us up at 2AM! And it slipped your mind to tell your guests. The park overall needs a serious update including paving the muddy roads. However the office staff was very helpful and the WiFi was AWESOME! The location is very convenient to Denver.

The campground was nice, we were right across from bathroom, showers, and laundry. The dog park was great for our cooped up dogs in cold weather. There is a Hunt’s pizza on site, and it’s just OK! We definitely had better and the bottom of the pizza was a little soggy. The mushrooms tasted like they were from a can. I would suggest upgrading laundry to use an app to pay rather than quarters.

The staff is super polite and friendly. The grounds and bathrooms are always clean. The water pressure and warmth in the showers were really good. This is our second stay and we will stay again.

The restrooms and showers are nice and very clean, the dog park was nice. All the people working here were friendly. Our first impression of the park was more of a trailer park instead of a KOA Holiday Park. The sites were too close together. There were many sites with junk on their site.

Ok stay. The location is near the freeway and is loud and we had a neighbor who had a barking dog constantly. On a good note, Scott, who I assumed was the owner, was very friendly, professional and attentive.

Restrooms were awesome. However, this is the most unattractive KOA we have ever stayed at. Lots of clutter, tacky yard art, junk around the perimeter. Worst surprise was no water. Website and our reservation confirmation both stated sites had water, but it was not on. No email or other communication indicating water was off. I expect a partial refund! Over $50 for electric only is a rip off

Great time. We camped in a tent & while the highway was a bit loud it wasn’t annoying plus they mentioned it on the website so it was nice for a heads up! Great playground area, even as adults we still went a played. The bathrooms were very nice & clean. Overall great experience.

Nothing but a dirt parking lot with utilities, not a campground. It is useful for overnight transient traffic and rates should reflect that.

We appreciated the very clean, warm restrooms and shower facilities. Owners were very helpful. Enjoyed the on-site pizza. The cabin was just as advertised, clean and it warmed up nicely even with the snowy weather. The only (unavoidable) issue is highway noise. It was off-season, will have to check it out during summer- hope to stay here again!

We have stayed at this Denver East/Strasburg KOA many times. It isn’t a large campground bit well done; convenient to the Denver area butNot in the city; has such friendly & helpful owners & staff; a bonus is that they also have room to store your rig at a very reasonable price. The bath house & the laundry room are immaculate! And on-site pizza shop, sm store & game room. We love this KOA!

We stayed six days at this KOA in March. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed to the area. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We were having some difficulties with our camper and a staff member helped with the issues without hesitation and also made some smart recommendations. We travel to Colorado a lot. When we do go back we will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the campground and everyone there were extremely friendly and professional. Thank you also for your patience allowing us to stay passed the checkout time to work on motorhome and help us fill our propane tank. We would for sure stay there sgain.

We have stayed at this KOA many times over the years. It is not a large park but the location near Denver is great. They added sweet & comfortable covered wagons to their lodging choices! They also have the bonus of being able to store your rig at a very reasonable price. The new owners are so Very nice & helpful. The bathrooms with showers & the laundry facilities are immaculate!!

We’ve stayed here a number of times in our travels and have found a welcoming and helpful staff and well run campground. They were also very accommodating when we had to cancel a reservation due to weather. It’s a favorite when in the Denver area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy on and off the interstate. Only stayed 2 nights on our way to Breckenridge, but we would stay again.

Simply put, the people and facilities were great. We loved the off-leash dog park and pizza delivery on site, especially after a long drive.
