East lake check-in process, received a text before checking in with the address and the wifi code. Roads were maintained and easy to navigate. Site was spacious for our 50ft RV towing. Would stay here again!

The staff was very friendly, but definitely not one of the nicer KOAs we’ve stayed at. There was an entire area that looked like a junk yard. It was winter, though, so I’m assuming it’s nicer in the warmer months.

The good news first. The bathhouse was clean and it was easy to check in. I really appreciate that. My low rating for this facility is based on its location. This place is literally right next to I-70, it is also directly next to the train tracks, so it is pretty loud and the spots are really tight. Is it worth $50 / night to stay here? If you desperately need a place to camp outside of Denver.

We had a terrific stay. The staff was super helpful & friendly. The playground was really nice for our little kids to play at. Bathrooms were always kept clean. Thank you for making our first RV adventure so pleasant.

We were just there for the night and stayed in a cabin. Cabin and restrooms were nice and clean. Loved the pizza delivery!!

The space between long term camp sites is horrible. I was given a space that as I came out my front door I was walking over the next door campers sewer hose. As I walked out my back door I would run into the water spigot of the other camp site. The best thing about this KOA was how clean the shower/restrooms were at all times.

This was our first KOA visit and it was very nice!! Everyone was super happy and helpful. We felt safe (COVID) and enjoyed the wings!! Great spot to stay if you are heading on our out of the Denver area and convenient if you need a place close but want to stay outside of the metro area.

Noisy as is right along I-70 but facilities are clean, well layed out and convenient. Wild bunny rabbits hopped about and were enjoyable to watch!

Arrived late in the evening. Campground was good, showerhouse was clean. Easy access from highway. Only negative was the noise from the highway.

The one thing I wished in a campground was "full hook ups" to watch the KC Chiefs football game. Since the game was playing on 2 networks, AND KOA advertised cable, I felt comfortable we would see the game. The game was not on. I drove 75 miles to catch the second half. Bottom line: The KOA advertising is wrong and deceitful.

Nice little park. Very customer friendly and had curbside check in during covid which was greatly appreciated. Also stayed on return trip 2 weeks later. Same service.

We were very happy with our stay and were surprised at the improvements over the last five years. The bbq areas and kids areas were greatly improved and provided swings, merry-go-round, and climbing equipment. Even though we weren't kids, we played on them anyway. The park provided great showers and bathrooms, all clean! Overall, we had a great visit, even with a snow storm hitting the area.

Due to the Covid thing the rec room and spa and pool and play ground were closed yet we were still charged the full price. That along with the fact that it was winter time and It was from 60 degrees down to 7 degrees while we were there and all guests were still charged full rate. Needed to stay in a cabin with parking for a truck and enclosed trailer, they made it very convenient for my stay. Also the cabin had a fridge and microwave which was very handy for y two night stay. Thank you!

Liked that it was right off Interstate, however it was extremely noisy due to trucks and rumbling from uneven bridge.

Charging too much for just an empty cabin. Your pool/tub not working; fire ban should be some items you can give a discount for. The thorns in the ground are notorious. I hated the way we were being watched. Personnel were so misinformed about who what or what. Horrible stay!! Work on the thorns!!!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you did not enjoy your stay. As you know, Colorado in October is usually COLD and no way to keep swimming pool open and heated while temp at night are dropping to less than 40 degrees. We have no control of statewide fire ban.

We stayed for 3 months. The distance from town was a challenge. They always kept it clean and neat. The staff are very nice people.

While my first impression of a graveled campground close to Hwy 70 wasn't so favorable I soon changed my mind. The level of service is above average. There was plenty of room in my patio space and the site was level. The laundry facility was large and there were attractions for children. Unique to this facility is that they make pizza and deliver it to your site. And, it was pretty good pizza!

Outstanding KOA. We were not expecting to stay as long as we did but the management worked things out for us to stay. The staff very friendly and professional and always ready to help.

Overall it was a very nice stay. We did have on issue the first night, but I have to say the office sorted it out and we were more than happy. Sometimes... that means more than no incidents, because you gain confidence in times of uncertainty, that this is where you want to be. There is a real difference in the various spots here, so a little more, goes a long way.
