No smoke detector. No propane til last day. Cabin lock was malfunctioning. Couldn’t lock it. Last day brought propane. Nothing else was fixed. I used to stay here all the time. The park is looking run down. It’s sad. Used to be great place to stay.

The entire staff was all so professional and courteous and helpful!! I would go back just to see them again. Especially Gwendolyn, she rose way above and way beyond what any employee would be required to do for me and my puppy Zee. Scott and his wife “run” a fantastic operation and if you’re in the area, heck if you’re not in the area, make it a point to stop in and say “hello!”

The cabin was well appointed, new, sparkling clean. We loved it. Unfortunately, there was no hot water and no grill. Definitely contrary to description and our plans/needs/agreed rental terms. The campground is very close to I 70. Great for on/off. Not great for noise levels.

It was lovely. The road noise was more of a white noise and distracting at first, but then barely noticeable.

Our trip was interrupted by a fire in our RV the day after we arrived. We were very blessed to have survived it & almost all of our belongings were saved. The owners of the campground were very helpful and put us up in a cabin for 2 nights and continued to check in on us. They were actually the first to begin to put out the fire before the Fire Department came. Wil stay again!

Usually stay in regular Cabin but splurged on a Deluxe cabin due to last minute plans being made. Very nice layout. Would recommend a/c in bunk room also as window alone just doesn’t allow air movement. Got very stuffy at night. Said all linens provided. Didn’t have linens for the front sleeper bed so glad I always have packed for other cabins Recommend signage to alert how to operate sto

On our last night there the weather took a turn and we were in a tornado watch. We took shelter inside the game room and when the owners realized we were tent camping they found us a lodge to stay in for the night. We GREATLY appreciated that since we have a toddler and infant. You can tell they take pride in their property and guest and will do what they can to make you comfortable and happy!

Check in and all of the staff were very friendly. The cabin was clean and met expectations. The only reason I didn't give a 10 for recommendation and 5 stars is it is so close to the interstate it was very loud. Not sure what could be done about that, other than constructing a sound barrier.

The staff is super polite and friendly. The grounds and bathrooms are always clean. The water pressure and warmth in the showers were really good. This is our second stay and we will stay again.

We appreciated the very clean, warm restrooms and shower facilities. Owners were very helpful. Enjoyed the on-site pizza. The cabin was just as advertised, clean and it warmed up nicely even with the snowy weather. The only (unavoidable) issue is highway noise. It was off-season, will have to check it out during summer- hope to stay here again!

Needed to stay in a cabin with parking for a truck and enclosed trailer, they made it very convenient for my stay. Also the cabin had a fridge and microwave which was very handy for y two night stay. Thank you!

Charging too much for just an empty cabin. Your pool/tub not working; fire ban should be some items you can give a discount for. The thorns in the ground are notorious. I hated the way we were being watched. Personnel were so misinformed about who what or what. Horrible stay!! Work on the thorns!!!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry you did not enjoy your stay. As you know, Colorado in October is usually COLD and no way to keep swimming pool open and heated while temp at night are dropping to less than 40 degrees. We have no control of statewide fire ban.

Great camp grounds with a ton of great features but the highway is so close the all night traffic noise could be an issue for light sleepers. Camp staff were amazing and the onsite food was fantastic!
