Staff were very friendly and helpful but the spaces were too close together. Neighbors sewer hookup was right next to our picnic table.

The hosts for the park were very helpful in getting us parked but the park itself is a little rustic. There is little or no grass at the sites, with only weeds and dirt and rough tables to sit at your site. But you can tell that the owners have put a fair amount of effort into the public areas and do work at keeping each site clean. Also the park is extremely convenient to I-70.

No Wi-Fi even when stated as such. Site was close to office so should have had good reception but could get as far as goggle and then any specific site would not load saying timed out trying to connect. We find this with many kid's. They need to update their band strength width to accommodate usage across the vast majority of koa campgrounds

This is a really nice campground, and both the owner and the employees were all wonderful to deal with! My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is simply the proximity to the highway. There's no way to avoid the nearby road noise, but once you accept that, it's a great stop.

Only stayed for one night but was a very nice visit. The staff was awesome and so was the pizza and pancakes! If we are in the area again we will come back

The campsites were very close to each other. The dog park was lacking in many ways. However having the Pizza Parlor on site was good as was breakfast on Saturday morning! N

Staff was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate and get us into a spot even though we technically did not fit and the park was full. It’s really nice when people go out of their way to help.

Sites dirt and weeds. Train track on back side, highway on front. In an industrial area. Bathrooms didn’t have locks. Service was excellent.

We reserved at the last minute and were pleased to get in to this popular, busy campground. Staff was helpful. We ordered pizza since we arrived late and I was too tired to cook. It was tasty. The place was clean and surprisingly quiet considering that it was nearly totally booked with campers. This was our second time to stay at Denver East/Strasburg KOA and we will do so again. It is convenient

The staff was very friendly, the facilities were very clean, but the lots were really narrow - with Covid it would have been nice to have the lots wider so you could not reach out your door and touch your neighbor. There were 3 empty lots but the next campers were put right beside us instead of moving them over one where they would not have had any neighbors either.

Positives were friendly staff, some shade trees Negatives were loud freeway and train noise and sharp burrs on the ground that got in our dogs paws and our shoes while on a walk.

This was a lovely spot to stop after visiting family and enjoying a day in Denver. We had a windscreen, patio with gas grill and full hook up to make us comfortable. Sunday morning breakfast was available. Clean bathrooms and showers. Easy access off the highway and a lovely drive up to the Interstate connection on our way home.

Booked and stayed 2 weeks, no other campgrounds available and I see why. Sites too close together. Nothing but gravel and dirt. The noise from highway 70 was unbearable. My site was next to a season site and it looked in such disrepair it was horrible. And it smelled like sewer. Not worth the $ , I was very disappointed. I don't think I'd ever stay at a KOA again if their all like this one

The only complaints are that the spot was unlevel, and there was a lot of road noise every night. However, getting in and out of the KOA was very easy.

The location is convenient. Traffic is nearby but not a problem. When I left I forgot my surge protector. Scott tracked us down and called, offered to mail it that very day. We received it right after the Labor Day holiday. Thanks for personal attention and thoughtful care. John Pezzoli

This is a nice campground. The problem was the RV sites we were placed on where right next to the highway. They have super nice sites but on two different trips they placed us on terrible sites. (Bc we were overnighters.

Scott and the other workers were all so nice, accommodating to our needs. The park was very wel kept and beautiful. We will definitely be back next year!

The site we had was a transient site, the site next to us was someone there long term, however we never saw any one there. In our site, we had to look at the mess next door. As an owner of the KOA, I would not want the impression we had to be the one travelers had of my KOA. Our site , had trash, full of dead leaves and was all weeds. Not a good look or impression.

Highway noise, and one camper left their dog unattended, barked for a solid hour, it was after 8pm. Place is clean and staff very pleasant to deal with.

Poor WiFi quality if there is WiFi. Wouldn’t it be nice if KOA Strassburg could boast of “the best WiFi around”? The money they make could easily pay for boosters for a year round benefits

Owner/Operators were nice. RV space was narrow...little to no room to sit out side. Train and freeway traffic was loud throughout the night...hard to sleep.

Very noisy being so close to the highway. You need to think about creating some sort of noise break...plant trees or something.
