First of all, the staff was great. No complaints at all about any of the employees. The park, however, wasn’t great. Our site was so narrow that I couldn’t extend my awning without hitting the next door neighbor. The water pressure was so low that our instant hot water heater didn’t have enough pressure to create hot water, I had to use my own water pump and refill our tank with the park’s

Your place was alright, my biggest complaint is that you have a speed limit for the campers. That is all good, but your staff don’t go by that limit which causes the dust from the road to go flying. We just washed our truck and then a staff worker comes driving much faster raising the dust. Otherwise our stay was good.

Showed up and the gentleman meet us as we drove in. He took my name, went and got our paper work, took us to our site and covered everything about the site. He was very friendly, polite and professional.

We stayed for close to a month overall, having to change sites several times which we were willing to do. We found the staff all very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The roads and sites, however, are simply dirt with a hint of gravel here and there, making for very dusty conditions in dry weather, and soggy conditions during a rain. The sites and roads definitely need a lot more gravel on them.

Staff was wonderful. I don’t think this should be labeled as a holiday or family friendly. We have been to many KOA’s and I would say this is more of a journey. No paved roads, no activity’s for kids. When my son went to go ask about movie night that night they didn’t know what they were going to show. We felt it was a little unorganized in the activity department which is not what you exp

This campground has great owners and have thought of everything. I have never seen such clean laundry facilities. And on weekends the owners cook you free sausage and pancakes. Great place to stay!

Nice park right next to the I-70, so it definitely wasn't a quiet stay, but the grounds were great, pool was awesome, fun playground. Not a great wi-fi connection, so bring your hotspot. Couldn't work remotely off their connection (spot 25).

Staff is nice but closing the pool and all activities down at 7pm in the summer is a bit ridiculous. It's swim at your own risk so unnecessary to close that early. That's only reason I wouldn't rate or stay again

Our stay at the Denver East/Strasburg KOA was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the well maintained dog park area. The ONLY reason we are giving less than five is due to the VERY cramped spaces. This park is a “Holiday” park so guests should be comfortable to stay for a bit. We were too close to our neighbor to open awning and sit outside and relax.

Close to the interstate causing some traffic noise but, not bad. Easy on and off with some tight turns for entrance but still manageable. Hunts pizza from KOA office was good and reasonable.

We were booked into this KOA for 15 nights. They placed us on a site one away from the lift station, so we had a horrible sewer gas smell. We couldn’t cook or eat outside due to the smell. When I asked to be moved to a different site, the owner very rudely told me we could check out and he would refund our money. Didn’t care or try to work with us at all! So we checked out!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sold out almost every night. There were NO other spots to move the guest to that were open the 15 nights their reservation was for. They would of needed to move sites more that 3 times in those 15 days in order to get them into a different site. 2 of those would of been 30amp water only.

Poor water pressure and poor Wi-Fi. Price is too high due to 40 mile distance from Denver. Staff was very nice.

Richard, who helped us get to our site, was so very kind! He made us feel welcomed right away. The sites are a little close together so not as quiet as I like, but definitely a good spot to use to stay.

Great friendly people. Bbq, ice cream, pizza, pool all at this location. The WIFI wasn’t strong enough to use at our site. Good stay overall.

The park is very accessible from the freeway and is only about half an hour from Denver, there is highway noise but it didn't bother us. The park was clean and the people were very nice. The only bad thing is the cable signal was barely watchable to unwatchable, I did call and leave a message afterhours but no one contacted us.

This is a wonderful place! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Very clean and safe facility. Family oriented. Would absolutely stay here again!
