The view is absolutely magnificent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the facilities clean. My family loved the mini golf course and the pool!

My new favorite KOA and I've stayed at many! I am shocked that it's only a KOA Journey. It should at least be a Holiday being right at the Devil's Tower entrance. The grounds and facilities are beautifully maintained. The staff are great! The ice cream shop at the park gave us about three scoops worth for the one scoop price! Then there is the Close Encounters movie every summer night at 8.

Very clean and organized even during our Sturgis bike week stay, (which we enjoyed watching while there). Like many other sites we stay at, they are in a good location for "dark skies" but they do not promote it.

Very enjoyable stay. Loved seeing the movie Close Encounters and going to Devil's Tower. Showers and Laundry top notch. Will be back.

Omg! What a view! The movie at night was a real treat! Our whole experience at this KOA was a unique delight my husband and I won't soon forget. Keep doin' what you're doin'.

Although the park was nice, our spot was used as a thoroughfare to get to the office. Also we have stayed at several KOA’s never had to pay for miniature golf. Seems wrong since there is nothing else in the area.

Nice site. Pool and mini golf are a plus. RV sites are way too close. Neighbors awnings almost touch so TV noise can be a problem. Excellent location at the entrance to Devils Tower. Nice Cafe and store.

We have a big rig so was difficult to get maneuvered into our spot. The pool was small so didn't use it but will be great when the knew one is done. Didn't appreciate having to pay extra for golf and hay ride. Otherwise stay was ok and enjoyed Devils Tower!!

Overall great stay. Only complaint is the door to the women’s restroom near Tent sites 7-10 slams shut. Needs to be repaired and you probably already know, other guests don’t care and lets it slam. A bit annoying to listen in the middle of the night for the tent sleepers.

The reason we stayed at the KOA was to have shower facilities and they were very clean. However, having sites 10 yard apart is not what I want in any campground. I could hear every word my neighbors were saying.

The View is spectacular, the Staff was very helpful. The new pool looks like it will be very nice when copleted.

Good service was limited due to staff shortage so made it difficult to eat after 4pm. No fires allowed so when on a motorcycle it makes it hard to eat. Kitchen should of prepared pre made meals for purchase after 4 or offered a order ahead to be picked up at a later time. Lower showers need curtains. Extra charge for mini golf and hayride is unreadable seeing what the cost is per night.

Great stay, love the tower. Campground was clean and well maintained. Would have liked to have had a campfire, but completely understand the burn ban.

Tent site. Great view of Devils Tower. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Quiet when we were there for 1 night.

This has to be the most well kept campground we have ever stayed at. Campsite: clean, very level (made camper setup easy). Bathrooms and showers clean. Good water pressure and temp in shower. Staff is extremely friendly and genuinely seem to care. Nice change from a lot of places... Camp store, ice cream shop, etc very nice and items are appropriately priced. Would stay again.

Everything was great except that a bat was in our teepee at one point. It scared the big dog and myself. It was very fun and will probably return.

Very accommodating. Short on staff but nobody showed stress, everyone was kind and helpful. Lovely private shower rooms, bathrooms - all very clean and efficient.

Great location. Especially enjoyed watching the nightly showing of ‘Close Encounters…’ in the shadow of the mountain, where the movie was filmed. Oh and bathrooms were clean and modern. Privacy much appreciated.

We LOVE Devils Tower KOA! It’s the best for relaxing , or having a little fun, the kabins are perfect and the pool and mini golf make it even better!

We love staying here every year bc of its amazing views and location and it is a beautiful campsite. However, service is very inconsistent every year. Different answers depending on who you ask, repairs never done when requested and this year the restaurant staff advised they were no longer ordering food bc it was end of season?! it is beginning of Aug with Sturgis next week! Food is great tho.

Beautiful campground! Sites were roomy. No hot water in one of shower stations while we were there but facilities were nice. Fun mini golf course and some of the beat ice cream in the Black Hills area.

We got a site right by the river. They played the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind both night we were there. Great fun. One of the better KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I loved this campground. I was only in the area for 1 night, and was pleased to find there was availability for my tent when I drove through in August. I found the campground to be wonderfully maintained, and the bathhouse spotless. I was told upon check in that the movie would be shown at 7 pm. What movie? I asked. Silly me. Close Encounters, of course! Fortunately, I arrived early enough in the day to hike a circuit of the National Monument, and then enjoyed the view of same from my campsite even more. This is just a great place to stay and is worth the extra couple dollars it costs to stay at a KOA for the cleanliness, the view, the proximity to the monument, and the fun. PS, all of the photos attached to my review were taken in the campground.

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. We did not go on the hay ride or watch movie, but thought that was a great treat especially for kids. Great place to walk our dog and the view is worth a million! WIFI was very good. We did not use the facilities other than laundry which was in very good condition. We had a lovely walk around the campground with the tower and Belle Fourche River, great location.
