Came in late and very hard to see. Left map saying this was tent camping which was nice once daylight and could see but the sprinklers went off all night in the tent area. ground was wet so we slept in the car instead of tents. Bathrooms very nice and clean.

We had a great time but wanted to rent a tee pee and they said there was only one bed and we needed 3 ,so we got a cabin , then the next morning we looked at a teepee and it did have 3 beds, Someone brought their dog that did alot of barking unable to control their pet it disturbed the tranquility of the campground and chased away all the wildlife . Restaurant hours are a real joke.

Have stayed at KOA’s from the Pacific to the mid-west over the last forty years. It seems the quality of the RV sites is slipping. Sad.

Friendly people, clean facilities, loved hayride & Close Encounters film, the great mini-golf & fudge. History of the family and grounds--this is a very special place. We will definitely return! Should be a bucket list destination point! Highly recommend for all ages! Seeing Devil's Tower aka Campstool from park is awesome too!

I think we had the best site in the Campground for the wonderful view of Devils Tower. The staff at the registration desk were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

GREAT GREAT! It is about 25 miles (?) from I-90 but an easy drive, well worth it. Look for deer on the way. The park is located in the best spot you would want in relation to the Tower. The sun sets behind it, offering great photos/canvas for your painting talent. Our spot was a pull thru, level with easy hookups. The Park is very clean and well kept with plenty of trees. HIGHLY RECOM

Best Devils Tower location for cabin, teepee, or camping. Enjoyed a hayride and movie night too.

Grounds very well kept. Staff very courteous and helpful. Enjoyed the visit . Only down side was restaurant was not open on this days visit . Possibly due to staffing shortage of restaurant personnel.

The Hosts we're awesome. Very helpful and friendly, even though we ran over their water line. Lol

Gorgeous park, every campsite has a beautiful view of Devils tower. The park entrance is right outside of the park. Amazing staff, next time I'm staying longer.

Best location, sites, and amenities of any KOA Journey I’ve ever camped. Views are spectacular!

It was fantastic. Sad to see the restaurant/ saloon was closed down due to staff shortage but is understandable, it's like that throughout the country.

Most beautiful KOA…No….most beautiful campground I’ve ever encountered. Very clean facilities. Great staff. Fun amenities.

Site 97 shares an entrance with Site 98. 97 also has a large tree at the opposite end. Because of this we could only park in the middle of our site and our only view was of the unit about 4 ft from us. We put our chairs in front of the tree to see, but their truck was parked so that our view was also blocked there. If we hadn’t paid for a choice site, I wouldn’t complain. 97 should be downgrad

Awesome campground with a fantastic view of Devil’s Tower.

We especially enjoyed the late afternoon hay ride around the Campstool Ranch. Since I’m a double U TX graduate, I had an interesting conversation with the hay ride driver regarding the Driskill Family’s connection to Austin, TX and the historic Driskill Hotel there. We enjoyed our short stay!

Weather was great. I didn't like going to the bathroom during the night, but everyone had to do it. The place was quiet and the people nice.

Great location. Stayed in deluxe cabin. Recommend air conditioner in bedroom. One in front doesn't reach back there. Also change to a real queen mattress. Glad to see air conditioners put in the other cabins. Recommend more deluxe cabins, similar to KOA by Badlands. Other than that, glad to finally make it back.

Roads difficult to navigate. Map is inaccurate - park roads have changed. We were in a row without a proper exit out of the park. On way out, had to cross an empty campsite to access a road to the exit.

Site location was small.

Everyone was extremely helpful. Place was clean and quiet with the awesome devils tower as the scenery. I would recommend it to anyone visiting devils tower.

We had a very nice stay. The only suggestion is bigger rigs such as ours should be put in bigger sites. A little tight making the turn down our row.

Nice campground and we had a great view.

We love this KOA! We have stayed twice now and we will return again to Devils Tower... beautiful views with the back pull through area. I used the laundry room this time and was clean and worked great. Pool is smaller and water super cold. Had a couple times where people didn't have their dog on a leash at their campsite and caused some scary moments. Wish they were on top of that better.

The stay was great. The only problem was the men's bathroom needed cleaning and service for the two days we were there. This was at the end of July, 2021.

We got a site right by the river. They played the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind both night we were there. Great fun. One of the better KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I loved this campground. I was only in the area for 1 night, and was pleased to find there was availability for my tent when I drove through in August. I found the campground to be wonderfully maintained, and the bathhouse spotless. I was told upon check in that the movie would be shown at 7 pm. What movie? I asked. Silly me. Close Encounters, of course! Fortunately, I arrived early enough in the day to hike a circuit of the National Monument, and then enjoyed the view of same from my campsite even more. This is just a great place to stay and is worth the extra couple dollars it costs to stay at a KOA for the cleanliness, the view, the proximity to the monument, and the fun. PS, all of the photos attached to my review were taken in the campground.

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. We did not go on the hay ride or watch movie, but thought that was a great treat especially for kids. Great place to walk our dog and the view is worth a million! WIFI was very good. We did not use the facilities other than laundry which was in very good condition. We had a lovely walk around the campground with the tower and Belle Fourche River, great location.
