The park was neat and clean, and the hosts were gracious thru dealing with many people complaining about the weather and the many challenges that comes with that. The views were spectacular from nearly anywhere in the park, and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful scenery right at the entrance of Devil's Tower. Our cabin was clean. The shower stalls had hot water. Bonus movie night. General store available for snacks.

Friendly checking, nice campground with a great view of Devils Towers. Nice touch they show Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Glad we camped at this KOA it is definitely the best one we have stayed at!

Quiet park, grass well kept. Sewer pipe connection coming out of the ground was about a foot, no threads. Had to have someone hold the dump hose end in order to dump tanks. For $72 a nite I would think you should have to do that. It is right at the entrance to the park, full view of the big rock.

When we came down the highway we saw the tower. We were over joyed to find out our camp was right at the base. The view was outstanding. Our first night the KOA showed the movie Close Encounters. It was so cool sitting outside watching the show with the Devil's Tower in the background. The hike around the tower was great. There was at least 6 rock climbers that kept us entertained. A grade.

Very impressed by the how the staff worked to keep the park clean. The laundry facilities were impressive for a campground setting. Beautiful views of the monument.

Special events are allowed to continue making noise after 10:00pm. Not always welcome for non attendees trying to get some rest.

Fun to watch the outdoor movie. Pool was cold. Restaurant was not open due to lack of staff (but I understand) Showers and bathrooms were clean. Great views!

It was an awesome experience, beautiful view, and had lots of fun things for the kids to enjoy. I would definitely come back and do it all over again!

I paid extra for a premium spot which was next to the bathrooms. With a 38 foot fully contained unit we did not need to be located next to a bathroom in which the light was on all night long. I called when we got to our site and asked to be moved and of course was told they were booked. We had a reservations for 3 nighst and left a night early.

We enjoyed the close view of Devil’s Tower, access to the campground was good. Only complaint is there was no hot water for showering. I think the water heater was not working as I could hear something alarming. Other than that everything was good.

Extremely clean, wonderful views and camp personal were friendly, courteous and kind. Really enjoyed the movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”. Although the band on 8/28/21, not so good. Highly recommend!!!!

i was soooo happy to see heat in my cabin..someone said that there was no heat in them...i am glad that they were wrong...

the tent spots were very nice, however I left for ~30 minutes in the evening and came back to see my site had been soaked by the sprinklers. There also seemed to be a wedding reception or similar event on site with a live band that played loudly into the night making it difficult to sleep.

A little pricey for the average camper but acceptable for location proximity to monument.

No garbage pick-up, no recycling, no escort to site, no site clean-up... quite simply not much of a KOA. A lack of all these services and more yet they can't cover the $5 putt-putt fee for Guests.

Had a very nice time! The location and the view were great. Loved that I could reserve a spot ahead of time (unlike the NPS campground which is first come first served).

Cabin was sufficient for our one night stay. Located at the base entrance for Devils Tower. However, one of the reasons we chose to stay there is because they have a Cafe to get food. They had the Cafe closed during our stay and never told us before booking which was disappointing. Some of the staff was super nice and friendly.

The facilities, campsites and staff were excellent. We will be back! 1 complaint: there was a wedding at the KOA the night we stayed. They played loud music till after 11pm. We were shocked. We tried to go to bed early since we’d been traveling all day. It was too loud. We wish the new couple well, but feel even special events should heed the KOA rules and obey quiet hours in respect to others

Very nice campground. We were in a pull through full hook up site. Our area had young trees growing but no shade. The older area of the park had beautiful trees and lots of shade. We had a great view of Devils Tower from our campsite. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a nice pool and are in the process of building a new one.

Excellent KOA! We stayed in a Kamping Kabin and it had an awesome view of Devils Tower. The best mini golf course we have seen in a KOA! Parks for the kids were great, they are in the process of building a new pool, which looks really cool. Clean and spacious bathrooms, staff was very friendly and helpful, really good fudge in the store, and walking distance to Devils Tower National Monument.

So close to Devil's Tower. Loved the view. Campground was beautiful and we'll maintained. Laundry service was clean and machines worked great. We loved our stay!

We got a site right by the river. They played the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind both night we were there. Great fun. One of the better KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I loved this campground. I was only in the area for 1 night, and was pleased to find there was availability for my tent when I drove through in August. I found the campground to be wonderfully maintained, and the bathhouse spotless. I was told upon check in that the movie would be shown at 7 pm. What movie? I asked. Silly me. Close Encounters, of course! Fortunately, I arrived early enough in the day to hike a circuit of the National Monument, and then enjoyed the view of same from my campsite even more. This is just a great place to stay and is worth the extra couple dollars it costs to stay at a KOA for the cleanliness, the view, the proximity to the monument, and the fun. PS, all of the photos attached to my review were taken in the campground.

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. We did not go on the hay ride or watch movie, but thought that was a great treat especially for kids. Great place to walk our dog and the view is worth a million! WIFI was very good. We did not use the facilities other than laundry which was in very good condition. We had a lovely walk around the campground with the tower and Belle Fourche River, great location.
