This is a great family run campground…. The grounds are well maintained, the staff is very helpful and professional, a new pool is currently under construction, nightly ranch hayrides and nightly showing of Close Encounters in the shadow of Devils Tower. Can’t beat the view.

we got to the campground 1 hour early at 12:00 noon and was charged an extra $10.00 early check in even though the campground was near empty including our assigned spot. Not happy with this charge.

I had absolutely no complaints about the campground, surroundings, staff or anything I experienced during my 5-night stay at Devil's Tower. Staff were all extremely friendly, the grounds well kept, and of course the surrounding countryside speaks for itself.

We stayed in a sleeping cabin. It was very comfortable. Many improvements are being made to the Devils Tower KOA. We enjoyed the hayride and visiting with Mr. Driscoll. We also enjoyed a miniature golf. The restrooms are extremely clean and very updated.

I paid for a premium site with a view of the tower. I was in site 35 my view was the tree in front of the tower. Also directly behind me was a construction site with loud construction equipment running all day with dust and dirt clouds blowing into our site.

Great campground and incredibly close the Devils Tower National Monument. If Devils Tower is your destination - this is the place to stay

This place s a privately owned Business and not about the KOA brand for customer service. They charge for everything that is typically included with your KOA stay. Their all about money and not that the customer has a good camping experience. No staff to take you to your site, charge for an hour early check in even though no one in your site, will not support local owners again. Don’t stay here

Great view of Devils Tower and friendly, helpful staff. We've stayed in the cabins and camped here and recommend it to all our friends. Use the discount for breakfast at the cafe.Don't miss this place!

1 night, but a grand one it was! Spectacular view from our campsite V6. Bathrooms clean and marvelous hot water showers. Amenities full and operated well. Personnel were informative and friendly.

Tenting area was clean and quiet. The rest of the facilities were also very well maintained. The staff were mighty friendly. Much preferred over tent camping at the campground within the Monument. The only caveat I have is that if you are planning on staying for a while and climbing/hiking in the area, you will need to trek all the way back down to Moorcroft or Sundance to get most groceries.

The person who helped us with our reservation was knowledgeable about the campground and very kind to us. Our site was well kept and the restrooms were clean. We will be back for another stay for our next Devil’s Tower visit!

Site was nice. Laundry, restroom and showers were clean. The only negative was that they wanted to charge us $10 more to arrive 1 hour earlier than normal checkin time and also they don’t allow you to dump tanks unless you are a registered camper. In my opinion it could be a big money maker for them and a great service for campers who stay in NPS Campground to dump for a fee.

Nice facilities and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Marked in my KOA directory as a place we would return to in the future. Also enjoyed being able to view Devils Tower from out campsite.

The pool temperature was a bit too cold to enjoy, but this is nice campground. Loved watching the movie at night and wifi was strong. We wished you would have posted that the cafe was not open for dinner. Before we arrived, I even emailed your campground asking about groceries nearby and meals in general. Not much in the way groceries at your store. Devil's Tower view from the campground is great!

This was our first trip out in our new to us camper. The staff was great. Check in was fast. Bathrooms were clean and new. Shower rooms were clean too. Spot #1 does NOT have an unobstructed view of the tower we found out. Still had a great time. PLEASE look into lowering the volume on the movie. Yes our spot was closest, but it still was VERY loud.

Clean restrooms, movie night, great view of Devil's Tower and only a minute away to the National Park, nice picnic tables( plastic ones) and a great restaurant 1/2 mile away. Our stay was wonderful! Thank you!

clean, high volume operation. right at the gate too. $5 for mini golf is ridiculous though and that's one of the things we look forward to at a KOA. we didn't do it.

We enjoyed our stay in the rustic cabins very much. The stream in the back and the hills surrounding the area and the view of Devil's tower was perfect. I would highly recommend someone visiting the area to stay at the KOA. We were happy to be able to do so.

The vending machines in 1 laundry was empty. The men’s bathroom was terribly dirty. The hand dryer in the women’s bathroom was broke. But the movie “Close Encounters” was very cool.

The staff helped us move our friends to a location closer to us so we could enjoy the weekend together. They went above and beyond to make this happen!! Campground was peaceful, clean and so much fun! A++

We got a site right by the river. They played the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind both night we were there. Great fun. One of the better KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I loved this campground. I was only in the area for 1 night, and was pleased to find there was availability for my tent when I drove through in August. I found the campground to be wonderfully maintained, and the bathhouse spotless. I was told upon check in that the movie would be shown at 7 pm. What movie? I asked. Silly me. Close Encounters, of course! Fortunately, I arrived early enough in the day to hike a circuit of the National Monument, and then enjoyed the view of same from my campsite even more. This is just a great place to stay and is worth the extra couple dollars it costs to stay at a KOA for the cleanliness, the view, the proximity to the monument, and the fun. PS, all of the photos attached to my review were taken in the campground.

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. We did not go on the hay ride or watch movie, but thought that was a great treat especially for kids. Great place to walk our dog and the view is worth a million! WIFI was very good. We did not use the facilities other than laundry which was in very good condition. We had a lovely walk around the campground with the tower and Belle Fourche River, great location.
