We stayed in a sleeping cabin. It was very comfortable. Many improvements are being made to the Devils Tower KOA. We enjoyed the hayride and visiting with Mr. Driscoll. We also enjoyed a miniature golf. The restrooms are extremely clean and very updated.

We enjoyed our stay in the rustic cabins very much. The stream in the back and the hills surrounding the area and the view of Devil's tower was perfect. I would highly recommend someone visiting the area to stay at the KOA. We were happy to be able to do so.

The vending machines in 1 laundry was empty. The men’s bathroom was terribly dirty. The hand dryer in the women’s bathroom was broke. But the movie “Close Encounters” was very cool.

We only stayed one night, but wished we had booked for 2+ nights. Great location, clean accommodations, friendly personnel.

Good service was limited due to staff shortage so made it difficult to eat after 4pm. No fires allowed so when on a motorcycle it makes it hard to eat. Kitchen should of prepared pre made meals for purchase after 4 or offered a order ahead to be picked up at a later time. Lower showers need curtains. Extra charge for mini golf and hayride is unreadable seeing what the cost is per night.

Everything was great except that a bat was in our teepee at one point. It scared the big dog and myself. It was very fun and will probably return.

We LOVE Devils Tower KOA! It’s the best for relaxing , or having a little fun, the kabins are perfect and the pool and mini golf make it even better!

We love staying here every year bc of its amazing views and location and it is a beautiful campsite. However, service is very inconsistent every year. Different answers depending on who you ask, repairs never done when requested and this year the restaurant staff advised they were no longer ordering food bc it was end of season?! it is beginning of Aug with Sturgis next week! Food is great tho.

Lovely campground. We stayed at a cabin with a view to die for. Cabin was clean. The cabins are set far apart so one has privacy. Showers could have been a bit cleaner, but this was a very busy weekend. The aliens at the front desk were great, friendly and helpful. Having Close Encounters of the Third Kind really set the mood. Definitely recommend this campground.

We stayed in a teepee and was pleasantly surprised to find cots and a queen sized bed inside, with room to move around. The view of Devils tower from our spot by the river was amazing. The amenities were clean and plentiful and staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Second visit... find the facilities are in need of some work. Bathrooms/showers quite undersized for volume of campers. Need to double-check credit cards... thought I prepaid via KOA website, but was asked for a credit card at the property as well?

Wonderful place, right under Devil's Tower. (The entrance is a actually right next to the KOA. The cabin is very nice, even has air conditioning.! The staff is very nice and the little store/mini restaurant is an added bonus.

TeePee option first assigned had no msttress. Next one assigned had split mattress. 3rd teepee just right. Teepees would benefit from staff attention and landscaping. Neat product but not really prioritized

Campground is extremely well kept and clean. People (staff) were friendly and reasonably qualified. There was a no fire ban during our stay that was no fault of the campground. I do wish however that we would have known about this beforehand for we cook over an open fire.

Overall an excellent campground with very good customer service. We loved that the camping cabins were nicely spaced out and not crammed together. It was very quiet and relaxing with an amazing view of the tower. We missed the pancake breakfast option at this KOA and we were not fans of the food at the Campstool Cafe, but otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Excellent location for visiting Devils Tower and there is plenty of room at this location. Only issues are that the WiFi doesn’t reach to the cabins and the bathrooms are small. Really nice staff!!

Management has not called me back to resolve a concern that I had while at this KOA. I did get one initial phone call the day I left because I requested one. I was out of service and could not answer. I have left 4 messages, in a week and a half's time. I said if I did not get a call back I would leave a negative review. So here I am. I loved the setting of this KOA, but that is it.

I was not told that the cabin i rented had no bathroom fridge or microwave until I got there. We had to stay somewhere. This was very inconvenient for us because of our disability. Other than that it was ok. I will not rent another cabin from KOA.

This was an amazing stay!!! 100% recommend this KOA!! Not only was the area so fun and amazing, with being able to really see Devils Tower up close and personal and watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind with the Tower in the shadows, but the people there were AMAZING!!! So friendly and kind!! Always a smile! Absolutely loved it!!! One of our best vacations ever, if not THE best!!

Cabins were nice. Great air-conditioning. Need a small fridge; my insulin needs cooling, so I had to improvise. Several flies always in the cabin no matter what we did - maybe a bug zapper or electric fly swatter? Cafe closes too early & breakfast was limited but not bad. Great hay ride! LOVED the movie, but please tell campers to let it play to the end of the credits before shutting it off

Very clean site! They have everything you need,showers, laundry, bathrooms, water spout at every site: cabin/tipis/rv/tent!! You can't get close to the Mato Tipila tower than this. The red rock and Bell Fouch river are absolutley beautiful. Try to make it on a full moon , it's amazing!

This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful KOA I have yet seen (and I've stayed at several!) My cabin had a river just outside the back window, with a bunch of deer on the other side. Scenery = awesome! One of the nicest aspects was all the green grass: It seems that RVs are a second thought here, which is quite the opposite at many other KOAs I've stayed at.

This was my first time staying at KOA. I rented a cabin for the night. It was spectacular and I will definitely do it again!! It was perfect. I was also pleasantly surprised with the free (and CLEAN showers). I also loved the one of a kind experience of watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind under the shadow of Devils Tower.

Fantastic stay! We had a camping cabin and it was perfect! Bathrooms and showers were spotless! Staff were friendly! Great experience. Will definitely be back!

We got a site right by the river. They played the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind both night we were there. Great fun. One of the better KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I loved this campground. I was only in the area for 1 night, and was pleased to find there was availability for my tent when I drove through in August. I found the campground to be wonderfully maintained, and the bathhouse spotless. I was told upon check in that the movie would be shown at 7 pm. What movie? I asked. Silly me. Close Encounters, of course! Fortunately, I arrived early enough in the day to hike a circuit of the National Monument, and then enjoyed the view of same from my campsite even more. This is just a great place to stay and is worth the extra couple dollars it costs to stay at a KOA for the cleanliness, the view, the proximity to the monument, and the fun. PS, all of the photos attached to my review were taken in the campground.

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. We did not go on the hay ride or watch movie, but thought that was a great treat especially for kids. Great place to walk our dog and the view is worth a million! WIFI was very good. We did not use the facilities other than laundry which was in very good condition. We had a lovely walk around the campground with the tower and Belle Fourche River, great location.
