It was awesome to stay and watch the movie while viewing the Devils Tower. Having the restaurant and shops on site were very handy. Only negative was all the mud around the dump station. Pretty messy when trying to dump and hit the road. Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice campground at the bottom of Devils Hill Tower where you can see the Tower from every site. Nice sites, full hookups. Very nice campground staff. Enjoyed our stay!

So close to the tower. Campground is tight in Some of the areas and unlevel camp sites but our was great.

If I could have given you a score of 11 I would have. It is obvious that this team loves their KOA camp. The spot was great! The golf was themed to the area. The staff was knowledgeable about Devils Tower and courteous. We need to come back when you finish the new pool!

So close to Devils Tower monument! We loved seeing it from our campsite! The kids enjoyed the playground, mini golf, and the pool. Nice staff. Grounds were well maintained. Clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry room. Overall, a great stay!

Great views, clean showers, good selection in gift shop. RV drive extremely bumpy & uneven. Watching Close Encounters was a nice nostalgic touch.

Wonderful campground! We had a beautiful view of devils tower. We ate at the restaurant and food was excellent! We shipped the gift store for postcards and bought some fudge too! We watched the nightly movie close encounters of third kind. We are new to KOA just signed up this trip. I’m pleased as we have stayed in threeKOA’s. I did pay for a premium spot, and would have preferred on the

Great campground and we would stay here again! Quick check-in, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. P.S. Mini golf is $5/person now.

Grass was completely worn down. Very dirty and dusty. Some parts of park had good trees, but our area had none. This was not clear in reservation system. It was very hot. Sites laid out with good view of tower but fully exposed to hot, setting sun.

Normally I’d give this place four or five stars, but they had a giant backhoe and a couple of bobcats digging a giant hole right in the middle of the campground. I can understand construction to improve the place, but work normal hours 9-5. These guys worked until it was too dark to see which was around 9:45 pm - almost bed time. How inconsiderate.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this campground. We wish we could have stayed longer and was able to do go on the wagon ride. This place was beautiful.

The only thing I think was wrong. Paying for the hay ride. Then be told the ride is full. They could have done 2 rides so everyone could go.

Extremely friendly staff. Great view of Devil’s Tower. We loved watching Close Encounters in the outdoor theater with Devil’s Tower in the background. The restaurant served great food and the grandkids loved the ice cream parlor.

We stayed 1 nt and it was easy in out. Clean. Enjoyed the movie, close encounters outside they show nightly. Mar elous views. Restaurant food was good ice cream was better.

It was close to devils tower, just outside the gate in fact. Very clean campground, well taken care of. And the show Close Encounters of the Third Kind every night with devils tower in the background.

First time at a KOA! We usually stay in federal campgrounds but chose this KOA due to the location. We paid more for one of the premium view sites and it was worth it. Very friendly staff. Pool was small and very crowded but they are putting in a new one. We had a great time and got some amazing photos.

With the exception of the hay ride my stay was very nice, the hay ride was over booked there were at least 3 too many people so several people had to sit on someone’s lap to make room for everyone to ride, at $6.00 a ride you should not have to have someone sitting on your lap!

A very clean campground just steps away from the National Monument make this an ideal stop wether you’re headed east or west on I-90. Watching Steven Spielberg’s, Close Encounters, under the stars, and at the base of the iconic tower where it was filmed was a highlight for us, (they play it nightly weather permitting). We would def stop and stay again!

Lovely site, we had a lovely big tree & grass with a breeze. Great showers, laundry & toilets, very clean. Customer service was excellent , very accommodating to our needs. We rode our bikes up to the Ddvils Tower. Wonderful stay here.

Ok The rocks in the camp location need to be set back enough to prevent a fender bender. The purpose is well understood. The two persons that are in the store are excellent. They wear the yellow shirts and have a outstanding personality. Thanks

Great campground with a ton of things to do. My only complaint was the rv site we had was a bit narrow. We felt on top of our neighbors.

This KOA is perfectly situated next to Devils Tower! The campground has many sites and I don’t think there is a bad one there. The staff is veryfriendly and were constantly working at the campground. They are also adding another pool! We really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our visit. The staff was wonderful and the campground was easy to get through. My only suggestions would be to add another dump station and provide signage to make it easier to find the exit.

Devils tower/Bear lodge itself is absolutely Beautiful, the KOA was also good. The staff is great, and woman at the kiosk was even able to help us book one more night last minute. Bathrooms are very clean and the showers are also, there are only a few things to do at the KOA, but they are improving by adding more now. Overall good people decent campground and great location.

Love the location to Devils Tower. Loved the movie outside. Park could use some work on added gravel to parking pads, and maybe getting the grass growing in the spots. The new pool will be great, when it is done.

Able to add second night Clean bathrooms but while cleaning, staff didn’t direct me to alternate choices Amenities: * miniature golf was fun * pool was cold (but probably from adding water) and foggy (might need to shock it while it’s closed at night) * movie was great to watch near DT, but a bit too loud and trees were blocking the tower

great location. nice amenities. saw they are putting in a new pool, that will be nice. I love seeing the movie at 8pm - never saw it before, great sound, was a memorable experience. would like to see more camping gear in the store. We left our checker table cloth on our picnic table when we went out adventuring and someone took it. Would have been nice to be able to buy a new one in the store

The KOA was clean, the staff is awesome. Our spot was pretty level. I wish we had reserved two to three days longer. (The pool was too cold) We were told three was a specific traffic pattern. It was not marked and no one else seemed to be concerned with adhering to it.

We got a site right by the river. They played the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind both night we were there. Great fun. One of the better KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I loved this campground. I was only in the area for 1 night, and was pleased to find there was availability for my tent when I drove through in August. I found the campground to be wonderfully maintained, and the bathhouse spotless. I was told upon check in that the movie would be shown at 7 pm. What movie? I asked. Silly me. Close Encounters, of course! Fortunately, I arrived early enough in the day to hike a circuit of the National Monument, and then enjoyed the view of same from my campsite even more. This is just a great place to stay and is worth the extra couple dollars it costs to stay at a KOA for the cleanliness, the view, the proximity to the monument, and the fun. PS, all of the photos attached to my review were taken in the campground.

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. We did not go on the hay ride or watch movie, but thought that was a great treat especially for kids. Great place to walk our dog and the view is worth a million! WIFI was very good. We did not use the facilities other than laundry which was in very good condition. We had a lovely walk around the campground with the tower and Belle Fourche River, great location.
