nicely located, very quiet considering the size and that it was full. very friendly and help full staff. very nice bathrooms and outside showers,would of liked a little wider level parking sites. hard for elderly to exit campers.

The dump site was not easily accessible and the ice-cream bar was not open. All in all it was a nice place to stay.

Our camp site was close to everything but I was a little disappointed in the fact that when I scheduled our stay the person on the phone told me we would be in a site that had trees and grass and that wasn’t the case. It all worked and anyway and we will defiantly stay at Devils Tower KOA again! We were treated with respect and it really is was refreshing to be treated like that! Thank You!

The KOA is a nice camp. Clean, it is SO handy to the Monument. We will probably be back sometime, maybe for a targeted tour of more of the Black Hills.

The staff and owner here are very friendly. The park was well maintained and clean. Showers were hot and clean. Pool was very cold in August, unswimmable, looks like they are building a new one! Closer to a 5 star than a 3 star! Played Close Encounters of the 3rd kind evernight which was a nice touch!

Our particular spot was on a hillside so we had problems leveling the camper. Other than that, everything was great! The people were friendly and helpful and the view was spectacular!

The park was neat and clean, and the hosts were gracious thru dealing with many people complaining about the weather and the many challenges that comes with that. The views were spectacular from nearly anywhere in the park, and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Friendly checking, nice campground with a great view of Devils Towers. Nice touch they show Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Glad we camped at this KOA it is definitely the best one we have stayed at!

Quiet park, grass well kept. Sewer pipe connection coming out of the ground was about a foot, no threads. Had to have someone hold the dump hose end in order to dump tanks. For $72 a nite I would think you should have to do that. It is right at the entrance to the park, full view of the big rock.

When we came down the highway we saw the tower. We were over joyed to find out our camp was right at the base. The view was outstanding. Our first night the KOA showed the movie Close Encounters. It was so cool sitting outside watching the show with the Devil's Tower in the background. The hike around the tower was great. There was at least 6 rock climbers that kept us entertained. A grade.

Very impressed by the how the staff worked to keep the park clean. The laundry facilities were impressive for a campground setting. Beautiful views of the monument.

Special events are allowed to continue making noise after 10:00pm. Not always welcome for non attendees trying to get some rest.

Fun to watch the outdoor movie. Pool was cold. Restaurant was not open due to lack of staff (but I understand) Showers and bathrooms were clean. Great views!

I paid extra for a premium spot which was next to the bathrooms. With a 38 foot fully contained unit we did not need to be located next to a bathroom in which the light was on all night long. I called when we got to our site and asked to be moved and of course was told they were booked. We had a reservations for 3 nighst and left a night early.

We enjoyed the close view of Devil’s Tower, access to the campground was good. Only complaint is there was no hot water for showering. I think the water heater was not working as I could hear something alarming. Other than that everything was good.

Extremely clean, wonderful views and camp personal were friendly, courteous and kind. Really enjoyed the movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”. Although the band on 8/28/21, not so good. Highly recommend!!!!

No garbage pick-up, no recycling, no escort to site, no site clean-up... quite simply not much of a KOA. A lack of all these services and more yet they can't cover the $5 putt-putt fee for Guests.

Very nice campground. We were in a pull through full hook up site. Our area had young trees growing but no shade. The older area of the park had beautiful trees and lots of shade. We had a great view of Devils Tower from our campsite. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a nice pool and are in the process of building a new one.

We got a site right by the river. They played the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind both night we were there. Great fun. One of the better KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I loved this campground. I was only in the area for 1 night, and was pleased to find there was availability for my tent when I drove through in August. I found the campground to be wonderfully maintained, and the bathhouse spotless. I was told upon check in that the movie would be shown at 7 pm. What movie? I asked. Silly me. Close Encounters, of course! Fortunately, I arrived early enough in the day to hike a circuit of the National Monument, and then enjoyed the view of same from my campsite even more. This is just a great place to stay and is worth the extra couple dollars it costs to stay at a KOA for the cleanliness, the view, the proximity to the monument, and the fun. PS, all of the photos attached to my review were taken in the campground.

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. We did not go on the hay ride or watch movie, but thought that was a great treat especially for kids. Great place to walk our dog and the view is worth a million! WIFI was very good. We did not use the facilities other than laundry which was in very good condition. We had a lovely walk around the campground with the tower and Belle Fourche River, great location.
