Tenting area was clean and quiet. The rest of the facilities were also very well maintained. The staff were mighty friendly. Much preferred over tent camping at the campground within the Monument. The only caveat I have is that if you are planning on staying for a while and climbing/hiking in the area, you will need to trek all the way back down to Moorcroft or Sundance to get most groceries.

The person who helped us with our reservation was knowledgeable about the campground and very kind to us. Our site was well kept and the restrooms were clean. We will be back for another stay for our next Devil’s Tower visit!

Site was nice. Laundry, restroom and showers were clean. The only negative was that they wanted to charge us $10 more to arrive 1 hour earlier than normal checkin time and also they don’t allow you to dump tanks unless you are a registered camper. In my opinion it could be a big money maker for them and a great service for campers who stay in NPS Campground to dump for a fee.

The pool temperature was a bit too cold to enjoy, but this is nice campground. Loved watching the movie at night and wifi was strong. We wished you would have posted that the cafe was not open for dinner. Before we arrived, I even emailed your campground asking about groceries nearby and meals in general. Not much in the way groceries at your store. Devil's Tower view from the campground is great!

Great experience. Showing Close Encounters of the third kind was a great perk. The store had lots of collectables. Showers were clean and hot and the pool looked inviting even though I didn't go in... Others were enjoying it.

Location, can’t beat. Morning at the restaurant, that was a sad joke! Long wait, then cold food. 2 other tables had same issue. Returned for microwave heat up and it was forgotten!! Coffee refills need to be a lot more often!! The young waitresses need training.

Employee's and or owners were very nice even with it very busy with the Sturgis bikers everywhere. We were glad we stayed here. Kids loved the pool with it being so hot out. It was chilly but fine. Thanks.

My family and i went on vacation to celebrate my and my brother b-day and we were going to go somewhere else but it was to far so we came to Devil's tower and my family and I was really Glad and happy that there was a KOA there by Devils tower so we can camp cause we didn't know if there were any place to camp in the area sense camping there is first come first sever and the KOA is a Great place

Lots of motorcyclist revving their engine at late hours & early morning. Might be nicer to set some noise ordinances on loud vehicles.

I was so happy I got to watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind at the campsite before I explored Devil's Tower the next day, which the movie is based on. I enjoyed a good breakfast in their quaint cafe- the servers were extremely nice. The showers were literally luxurious. And the best part- amazing view of the stars and of Devil's Tower in the background.

The view is absolutely magnificent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the facilities clean. My family loved the mini golf course and the pool!

Overall great stay. Only complaint is the door to the women’s restroom near Tent sites 7-10 slams shut. Needs to be repaired and you probably already know, other guests don’t care and lets it slam. A bit annoying to listen in the middle of the night for the tent sleepers.

The reason we stayed at the KOA was to have shower facilities and they were very clean. However, having sites 10 yard apart is not what I want in any campground. I could hear every word my neighbors were saying.

This has to be the most well kept campground we have ever stayed at. Campsite: clean, very level (made camper setup easy). Bathrooms and showers clean. Good water pressure and temp in shower. Staff is extremely friendly and genuinely seem to care. Nice change from a lot of places... Camp store, ice cream shop, etc very nice and items are appropriately priced. Would stay again.

Very accommodating. Short on staff but nobody showed stress, everyone was kind and helpful. Lovely private shower rooms, bathrooms - all very clean and efficient.

This is the BEST KOA!! Grass tent sites were beautiful, big shade trees, showers and bathrooms clean, nice clean laundry room. I also had electric and water on my grass site. Other KOAs need to follow your example. Highly recommend :)

Men’s bathroom closest to the tower only had two functioning toliets, as one was being replaced. One of the two clogged and was unusable. It was after 8pm so didn’t know how to contact anyone. Regardless, even if there were three toilets it seemed too little for a campground of that size. Also, there was no hot water at all in any of the showers that evening or the next morning.

We enjoyed our stay. The front desk girl was very friendly and recommended a great place to eat. We were able to pick where we set up our tent. Unfortunately tent campers were quite a bit away from the mini golf, office and pool. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Overall the campground was clean and quiet.

We got a site right by the river. They played the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind both night we were there. Great fun. One of the better KOA campgrounds I've ever stayed at.

I loved this campground. I was only in the area for 1 night, and was pleased to find there was availability for my tent when I drove through in August. I found the campground to be wonderfully maintained, and the bathhouse spotless. I was told upon check in that the movie would be shown at 7 pm. What movie? I asked. Silly me. Close Encounters, of course! Fortunately, I arrived early enough in the day to hike a circuit of the National Monument, and then enjoyed the view of same from my campsite even more. This is just a great place to stay and is worth the extra couple dollars it costs to stay at a KOA for the cleanliness, the view, the proximity to the monument, and the fun. PS, all of the photos attached to my review were taken in the campground.

Very nice campground, very friendly staff. We did not go on the hay ride or watch movie, but thought that was a great treat especially for kids. Great place to walk our dog and the view is worth a million! WIFI was very good. We did not use the facilities other than laundry which was in very good condition. We had a lovely walk around the campground with the tower and Belle Fourche River, great location.
